They now have their first headlining tour. There should be nothing but positivity and excitement about this news. And whist it may seem weird to have Jasmine, Mahogany, and Jacob a part as opening acts. Let's not forget the major platforms 5H were blessed enough to open for. If it weren't for people opening doors for them they wouldn't be here. Moving on. +Chan Daphne I'm all for both Lauren and Dinah getting more solos, but Lauren did have a solo in SH (albeit a short one, but her voice was very distinct) and Dinah got a solo in Worth It (granted not one that showed her vocals). Ally and Normani barely sung on their first album, but only a few complained. Lauren used to sing a lot, Dinah didn't sing a lot but got the hardest parts like the bridges in BT. They both got pushed to the back this album but all I see are "Lauren needs more solos" like 70% of the time and either "Lauren and Dinah" or "Dinah" like 30% of the time. People complain about everything, I'm okay with camila having no solos for this one. Maybe it'll get the whiney ass people to step off a little. But yea she has an incredible voice, they all do.💚
All their voices are incredible in their own ways. It's just that a lot of us find it unfair that Camila gets to lead or co-lead almost every song, and so far, she doesn't have a single song where she's limited to 1-2 lines like the other girls. Heck, Dinah got 0 for 0 on both their singles so far. This sort of song suits Dinah's voice perfectly, so I'm thrilled they gave her the lead on this. I don't think Camila was horrible at all. I actually quite enjoyed the "don't believe me just watch" bits. If anything it was Lauren who got the short end of the stick since she only got the opening melody.
Probably because she has never sat out on a song yet all Dinah did on the last TWO singles released was breathe. Normani is nowhere to be found on Going Nowhere. Ally is used for nothing except belting at the ends of songs and then she is tossed to the side. We rarely even get to hear Lauren anymore, even though the whole Better Together EP was very Camila and Lauren centric. And besides 5h isn't supposed to have a "lead singer" yet the stylist gives camila a different color outfit for performances, Camila leads the majority of songs released (if she's not lead they will find a way to make everyone know she can sing), not to mention how much she loves attention on her during interviews. But they would NEVER do this for the other girls. Most ppl don't even know that Normani's voice is better than Camila's because Normani is rarely given anything to show off her true talents. All of the girls are constantly taking a backseat to Camila. It's annoying. And besides, if they tryna do a "lead singer" they really should make it Dinah. One of the most beautiful and powerful voices of this generation. Too bad she rarely gets to show it bc she will always be stuck singing backup for Camila.
I love them all of course but, the solo distribution is fucked. Love how you're calling me a fake harmonizer when a harmonizer should know the solos are not distributed properly -.-

Dinah was the unquestionable MVP of this video. Only goes to show why she deserves more solos on their actual songs. Normani sounded really really good. Is it me or does it seem like her vocals just keep getting better? They gave just the right amount of Camila but why was there no Lauren solo? She would have rocked this song. Not feeling that Mahogany girl, wish Lauren would have gotten her part. Don't know who Jasmine is but she sounded good and Jacob was just...ummm....okay.

They both got pushed to the back this album but all I see are "Lauren needs more solos" like 70% of the time and either "Lauren and Dinah" or "Dinah" like 30% of the time. I remember this song. This was one of the most popular songs when I was in my first year of College. Fantastic song! Fifth Harmony just made it their own.

People complain about everything, I'm okay with camila having no solos for this one. Maybe it'll get the whiney ass people to step off a little. But yea she has an incredible voice, they all do.💚
All their voices are incredible in their own ways. It's just that a lot of us find it unfair that Camila gets to lead or co-lead almost every song, and so far, she doesn't have a single song where she's limited to 1-2 lines like the other girls. Heck, Dinah got 0 for 0 on both their singles so far. This sort of song suits Dinah's voice perfectly, so I'm thrilled they gave her the lead on this. I don't think Camila was horrible at all. I actually quite enjoyed the "don't believe me just watch" bits. If anything it was Lauren who got the short end of the stick since she only got the opening melody.
Probably because she has never sat out on a song yet all Dinah did on the last TWO singles released was breathe. Normani is nowhere to be found on Going Nowhere. Ally is used for nothing except belting at the ends of songs and then she is tossed to the side. We rarely even get to hear Lauren anymore, even though the whole Better Together EP was very Camila and Lauren centric. And besides 5h isn't supposed to have a "lead singer" yet the stylist gives camila a different color outfit for performances, Camila leads the majority of songs released (if she's not lead they will find a way to make everyone know she can sing), not to mention how much she loves attention on her during interviews. But they would NEVER do this for the other girls. Most ppl don't even know that Normani's voice is better than Camila's because Normani is rarely given anything to show off her true talents. All of the girls are constantly taking a backseat to Camila. It's annoying. And besides, if they tryna do a "lead singer" they really should make it Dinah. One of the most beautiful and powerful voices of this generation. Too bad she rarely gets to show it bc she will always be stuck singing backup for Camila.
