X and Zero have no chill anymore after dealing with Sigma 10 times.
Make that 11 or 12. 8 Times (X Series) 2 times (Xtreme Series) 2 times (Comics). And if we count X destroying the Virus completely after the Elf Wars that would make 13 Times.
Back to the main Megaman storyline. X killed off Sigma using the Mother Elf. I guess X forgot to bring the Mother Elf along huh?

Johnny Yong Bosch is a good replacement for Zero, imo. Ted Sroka for X is...well...eh.

Mark and lucas were perfect as seen in X command mission, X8, and MHX. JYB in Mvc3 and mvci is great but lucas was a bit better. Mark was PERFECT as X's voice and this mvci voice seems like some amateur parody voice. Terrible and unfitting by far
X and Zero, finally together again. Too bad it wasn't the kind of reunion that they truly deserved. Here's hoping for Ultimate Mvci to really bring it home :) ...If there'll even be one at this point?

For the longest time I did not know that Thor and X has a unique dialog fighting Ultron Sigma, that's a really cool detail.

Jose Dindo Flores II zero also holds limitless potential. It just isnt touched on until zero becomes more central to the x series story.
He can use the sigma virus as a power up so his power is insane when he's marverick while x can use armors so they both have potential

Relatively, X & Zero are on par with, and have similarities to each other. Each has their strengths. X's personality makes him believe in fighting only when he feels it is the only option given to him, or forced on him, especially to protect others, such as Zero. Zero's personality makes him believe in retaliating to, stopping, and if necessary, destroying, his enemies, especially to save others, such as X. Their end goals are the same, however; Stopping the fighting. To that end, their unique strengths come into play.

I've never been a fan of fighting games, and I'm only now getting into the Megaman X series (thanks to them being available on the New 3DS eShop), but dammit does this make me wanna try my hand at them.

Shame X has his command mission design but Zero doesn't have an updated version of his Zero series design.

My brother was annoyed when Zero said that this was the first time was a real human, when he clearly fought them before in past games like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and joining with them in Project X Zone.
It's an example of laziness of not looking back at past crossover games.
At least in Smash Wii U, there were mentions of the Subspace Emissary from Brawl when during Palutena's Guidance with Mario and Mr. Game & Watch.
Joseph Rivera These games are NOT canon/tied to the actual stories. The games are for pure fan service. There is no continuity between them. What happened in PxZ does not move onto MvC and etc.
Zero's voice is fine, but X...If we ever get an X9 maybe try something else. (It's not bad but, it's not that good)
They missed the opportunity to have X be played by Yuri Lowenthal, who constantly played characters who's BFFs that are voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch... Goddamnit, Capcom

I think because several Megaman characters have been in the "Vs Capcom series" (not counting Onimusha Blade Warrior, even though this isn't vs Capcom), I think Capcom needs to make a Megaman fighting game as a backup if it's difficult to make "Marvel vs Capcom" due to licensing issues.

As difficult as that would've been for Lucas Gilbertson (he's been in Canada for all these years, after all), Mark Gatha was already out of the question.
Shame this game wasn't better than it's predecessor. I so would've enjoyed the missing attention to detail.

I will say one thing... X seems a bit off from how he usually is. I'm not saying he should be as whiny as he is in most of his games, but he seems to be a bit too violent in this game, which doesn't really suit him, even if it is a fighting game.
Cobalt I see what you mean. He came from being abit hesitant and wants to stop the violence.
To (in this game) He's now armed and ready with no signs of hesitation and is almost similar to Zero's attitude on getting the job done and ask questions later.
Some may argue that this is X's character development (if he had any)
Cobalt X doesnt have qualms taking down enemies unless they were former allies and whatnot. A lot of the villains here are well... evil. Plus a lot of the dialogue is towards his partner and whoever he fights is treated as a unknown enemy grunt or whatever. X does a bit of his whiny brooding in the story too.
