Don't Port just love it, when the AFL head office in Melbourne hand down edicts to favour their precious darling teams in Melbourne... I've just watched the highlights of the 2002 match vs Collingwood at Football Park. The AFL demanded Port play a home match in a training guernsey... Port thrashed them... similar to here!
Nice spin, but that's not what actually happened. Port were intending to wear a one-off guernsey to promote M&Ms that night, but they guernseys hadn't arrived from Nike yet. Their training guernsey was relatively similar to the M&Ms guernsey so they opted to wear that instead. Port only won by 5 points that night, with Collingwood's inaccuracy infront of goal (12.14 - 86) costing them the game
I wonder how many shoves he would have given if, after the first 50m, the next was applied to the restart. Or the bounce moves from centre to centre half forward then to the front of the goal square..........
