I, being Approximately the same age as Mr. Turley, can remember a day when you were pretty much allowed to say anything, as long as it was true or it seemed to be, and didn't hurt anyone morally or financially. Several times I've had RUclips or Google delete my comments and block me for 24 hours. When I inquired what the comment or comments were, they refused to answer. Therefore I went through their appeals process. At the end of the process they replied, "We currently don't have enough staff on hand to handle your appeal." Freedom of speech is now a thing of the past.
Free speech is not difficult, it makes the administration uncomfortable, and administrators think donors want comfort, so the make free speakers uncomfortable to pacify this so called imaginary donor that wants comfort, not content. By doing so, they create an unwelcoming for discomfort and uncomfortable ideas/speech/ concepts that we the people/next generation need to hear if we are going to remain a vibrant, intellectually honest society.
If free speech is condemned by faint praise, the logical next move is to make religion and faith subject to similar condemnations by faint disagreement that is taken is the final, uninvestigatable decision, whether it is a true statement, a deep dive to the real meaning of the chapter, or not.

I dis agree. The second amendment is what keeps all the others safe. If we lose that one, all the others will disappear in short order.
