An energetic big-band swing that starts with a spicy two-chord vamp and proceeds to build up more and more energy with the sequencing. Unfortunately during actual races we don't get to hear the entire thing because it loops over again when you shoot out of the factory. But it's even more badass on the third lap.
To be honest his short cover segment of this sounded pretty amazing and almost nothing like a desert theme, and I kinda want an extended version of it tbh.

As a mk fan and a musician, I tried a more difficult version of this game: guess the song just based on the notes, without actually listening to it. It requires much more concentration but is still doable and fun!
It helps if you are one of those people who can hear a note and instantly know what it is😂. To some people (like me) it's just a sound. To others they can tell exactly what note said sound is. It's always fascinated me that some people can do that.

Delfino Square, Waluigi Pinball, and Shroom Ridge were always firm favourites of mine. I feel like a child again whenever I hear them. I also love Coconut Mall (of course) and Koopa Beach! And don't get me started on the full band arrangements for Mario Kart 8... Nintendo has some of the finest soundtracks ever created (alongside the Club Penguin soundtrack - the coffee shop tune always gets me)!

10:00 I GOT THIS ONE CORRECT EVEN THO I NEVER PLAY DOUBLE DASH. I just knew for some reason it was a main menu song since it didnt sound like a track song and just guessed Mk double dash since I know all the main menu themes that are not SMK, MKSS, and, MKDD. It also sounded cleaner than an old song so I guessed it.

Me too, this is my favorite track theme from the whole franchise. The SNES and MK8 renditions go the hardest. The original SNES rendition still holds up, and the MK8 composers created a MASTERPIECE of nostalgia.

The only ones I didn't nail were the super circuit songs. I even got the double dash staff credits! I may have only heard that song once, but I could tell it was staff credits because of its vibe and I was able to narrow it down to double dash because I could here double dash's theme.
2nd song is Yoshi Circuit from Double Dash, btw. This is more well known than just some circuit themes let's admit it. I also failed to guess a lot of tracks from MK8

Thwomp Desert is a battle course in Wii. This quiz didn't feature battle course music otherwise, except for Choco Mountain from N64 (featured in that race course but also in multiple battle courses).
Some corrections to questions: 14. Frappe Snowland also uses that music 15. Wario Stadium also uses that music 29. Cheep Cheep Island also uses that music
Also another thing: Everyone knows Waluigi Pinball for Waluigi Pinball, but the answers should also accept the Wario Stadium DS map as it also uses the song
*49 out of 50* For whatever reason my mind thought Choco Island was Koopa Beach from Mario Kart 64. I paused on a lot of songs but I didn't hesitate with this and it was a fatal error.
I missed a few. I rarely play battle mode so I missed Thwomp desert. I recognized choco mountain and the DS title theme but I couldn’t guess them in time. And I know the menu theme for double dash but I rewinded the video to listen again and I still couldn’t pick it up

Also if you answered DS Wario Stadium on Waluigi Pinball, you'd still have gotten a point, even if it doesn't say Wario Stadium, they do share the same theme, and not in the same way as Maple Treeway and Wii Bowser's Castle where Bowser's Castle is still considered a seperate theme despite it basically being a remix of Maple Treeway

Retrying (with tracks being fresh in my mind), I purposely didn't count Thwomp Desert as getting it right, since I knew the number anyways. Only one I missed was Yoshi Falls, which was embarrassing since DS was my first Mario Kart
I grew up with MK Super circuit and Double dash and later Wii and 8. Barely played DS and never played 7. So I got all the Super Circuit, DD, Wii and almost all 8 music correct. Also the credits music from double dash unlocked so many memories!

Every time I hear wii rainbow road I start to get nostalgia as the Nintendo Wii was my first gameing console and mkw was my first ever video game even, but now sadly my Nintendo Wii broke over 2 years ago and I'm still sad about it to this day, and it will be my favorite memory to when I was younger rip mario Kart Wii and galaxy 1 and 2(also I had skylanders trap team, so don't hate on me for likeing that game.)

Me too, this is my favorite track theme from the whole franchise. The SNES and MK8 renditions go the hardest. The original SNES rendition still holds up, and the MK8 composers created a MASTERPIECE of nostalgia.

I knew most of the tracks. It's easy to get the Main Menus mixed up.
The only ones I didn't nail were the super circuit songs. I even got the double dash staff credits! I may have only heard that song once, but I could tell it was staff credits because of its vibe and I was able to narrow it down to double dash because I could here double dash's theme.

Under the normal rules, I got 27/50. If getting the game but not the track correct is half a point, I got 29.5/50. If I leave out *MK7/8* (which I have very little experience with) unless I get it right, that is 27/40. I got most of *N64* right, about half the *Super Circuit* themes right, most of *Double Dash*, made a few embarrassing mistakes on *DS* despite having beat it twice, was 100% in *Wii*, didn't recognize any of *MK7*, and only got the menu theme right in *MK8*.

I've mainly played DS, Wii, and 8 Deluxe (wave 4 was out when I tried this, so I knew more tracks due to hearing their soundtrack in MK8 deluxe)
I got 47 out of the 50. The ones I missed were the DS title theme (thought it was the DS Menu theme), Yoshi Falls (thought it was DK Mountain), and Daisy Hills (thought it was Rosalina's Ice World). I also technically guessed Figure 8 Circuit for DS Mario Circuit, but they share a theme, so I'm giving myself that one.
I mixed main menu and title them fkr mkds as well and I stupidly didn’t clock cheese land so I got 48. As someone who didn’t olay double dash much so guessed right the main menu and the credit scene since I’ve never heard them before.
Also if you answered DS Wario Stadium on Waluigi Pinball, you'd still have gotten a point, even if it doesn't say Wario Stadium, they do share the same theme, and not in the same way as Maple Treeway and Wii Bowser's Castle where Bowser's Castle is still considered a seperate theme despite it basically being a remix of Maple Treeway
@@riskyworks Yeah, the Mario Kart games have a tendency to reuse music across different racecourses. Not even Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is immune now that Wario Stadium and Waluigi Pinball are both in that game; they STILL share the same music!

I grew up with MK Super circuit and Double dash and later Wii and 8. Barely played DS and never played 7. So I got all the Super Circuit, DD, Wii and almost all 8 music correct.
