- This is the fifth video in my new 'Back to Basics' series which aims to teach the basic design shapes in traditional flower arranging/floristry. In this video I teach you about the Inverted Crescent Style and guide you step-by-step from start to finish.
The 'Back to Basics' series is ideal for beginners looking to train as a florist or start a new hobby with arranging flowers. These tutorial videos are also suitable for intermediate arrangers looking to update their skills.

Thank you
Such beautiful designs! I love your methods of teaching. Do you do wedding bouquets? Would love to learn more about spirals.
I'm planning on doing some online classes/ Zoom and prerecorded. Let me know if you would like more information
Beautiful.....was it Sussex Silver you used?
Lovely arrangement. I have done the glycerine method on the hydrangeas and all it did was take out the colour completely and leave me with a moldy coloured flower. However the texture was good, so I just sprayed it in rose gold and some gold ones and they actually look nice. I would like to know though what I did wrong. Thanks
If it turned mouldy I would guess that you left it in the glycerine for too long or the room it was in was too moist and damp.
Is the purple flower statice ?
Yes Jane, it's Statice
You need some volume or your Mike want to be fix can Healy ear and my volumes is up
