The banjo was actually an African instrument , that slowly transformed, from different cultures using different materials. And made its way to the America’s around the 19th century . And this dude actually shreds , most people couldn’t pick up a banjo to save their lives so kudos to him. This video makes me so happy idk why’d you’d wanna cry lol

Same here except mine came to hills of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. My wife's people did the same. She can trace her ancestors back to the Jamestown Colony on her father's side. My wife is the first generation born outside of the mountains of South Carolina. She's still a hillbilly though we live in the foothills and Piedmont section of the state now. I'm the second generation out of the mountains of Georgia and Tennessee.
