I took care of my mom 95 year old, but she past away January 30,2022. I miss her alot. I left my job to take care of my parents, I still have my dad 101 year old. It was hard to take care of both at the same time. My siblings said they were going to helpe out, but I know they have there own families to take care. Me seeing this video brings me memories. I just retired this year in June. 2022 keep up the good work. Your blessed, it's are 5urn to take care of them. Other want to send them to other place
Hi Jose, it's definitely a calling for people to be carers. You are amazing to give that care back to your parents. I'm sorry for your loss, losing your mum at any age is hard. Your mum is your mum, but how great was she, 95. And your dad 101. And as hard as it can get, when they're gone, you'd do anything to have them back. Ur still lucky. My mom died covid at the age of 62 how i wish i takecare of her physically. To hug and kiss her to say goodbye but there is no change to do that. I miss my mom badly.😢😢

I'm almost 18 and I've been a carer for my mother since I was 8, I've always found the self-care side of things difficult and often neglect my own needs. So I just want to genuinely say well done. I hope I can learn to have a better balance like you
It may help you to find a caregivers group near you. They may be able to help you with advice regarding your self care. I cannot imagine being a caregiver at 8. Praying for you 🙏

That's so true, I took care of my mom for 10years. She was blind and unable to walk without assistance. She passed away recently, during that time I neglected myself. I loss some of my hair and gained weight but no regrets. I'll do it all over again. You are an inspiration to us all, you are doing it and grandma is grateful. Love this video, God bless you..

I feel sad because I didn't met 3 of my grandparents, the 4th was over 70 when I was born since mom was her youngest child. Same cycle will happen with my child. He is 4 and his grandparents are between 60-75. And the same thing will happen with my own grandchildren. Ah well.. 💔

The circle of life will touch us all at some point. This young man is beyond incredible. He just knows his role, his place in the family and has so much LOVE and respect for his Grandmother that he cares for ALL her needs inspite of how unpleasant some of the daily tasks are. After taking care of my husbands mother for the last 7 years of my life. Some good days and some were soooo hard that I asked myself why. But in the end I'm beyond glad I took care of her instead of her dying in a nursing home. You my friend are amazing don't forget it ❤️
You're only human. Bless you for all you did for your mother-in-law. I am going through this now with my mother. Like you said, good days and bad days. I couldn't even imagine doing this for anyone else, it requires so much love, patience, and respect. We should all think ahead and treat our elderly loved ones as we want to be treated when we are old and can no longer independently take care of ourselves.

I agree with you . I did the same for my mom about 7 years until god say it was her time to go . It was hard and no one can feel the burn out unless that have experienced it but just like you I would not change it for nothing and I would did it again . She went peacefully at home with family around .

I'm also bound in wheelchair for the last 6 months unable to walk. My husband and son help me. I asked my son why he help me? He respond because you took care of me when I was sick. God Bless

Si, pero tambien hay que ver lo agradecida, cooperativa y bien portada que es la abuela....eso ayuda mucho a que se puede hacer asi. Mi abuelo se volvio agresivo, nos escupia la comida en la cara, lieral te apuntaba, no se tomaba su medicina, te absorbia por completo y los demas teniamos vidas propias (escuela, trabajo). Asi q no hubo mas remedio q meterlo en un asilo que represento un sacrificio economico muy grande para todos, donde tuvimos q limitarnos, porque le buscamos uno q tuviera enfermeras de planta y otros servicios.....y nos maldijo por meterlo al asilo casi hasta el dia q muriom

I was working in healthcare for more then 30 years , you would not believe how many elderly men and women are on their own, at the stage your grandmother is in. I really had to fight with myself because I wanted to take them home and look after them. I always felt so bad when they would not even get a visitor.

My lola was 98 when she went to heaven on 2021. She had a very sharp memory. We would often go to her when we need (specific) dates on whatever events. After taking care of my husbands mother for the last 7 years of my life. Some good days and some were soooo hard that I asked myself why. But in the end I'm beyond glad I took care of her instead of her dying in a nursing home. You my friend are amazing don't forget it ❤️
You're only human. Bless you for all you did for your mother-in-law. I am going through this now with my mother. Like you said, good days and bad days. I couldn't even imagine doing this for anyone else, it requires so much love, patience, and respect. We should all think ahead and treat our elderly loved ones as we want to be treated when we are old and can no longer independently take care of ourselves.

I agree with you . I did the same for my mom about 7 years until god say it was her time to go . It was hard and no one can feel the burn out unless that have experienced it but just like you I would not change it for nothing and I would did it again . She went peacefully at home with family around .

I luv this family.. I'm so proud of you taking care of grandma. A lot of children are not taught how important it is to care for your love one.. I'm also bound in wheelchair for the last 6 months unable to walk. My husband and son help me. I asked my son why he help me? He respond because you took care of me when I was sick. God Bless

Si, pero tambien hay que ver lo agradecida, cooperativa y bien portada que es la abuela....eso ayuda mucho a que se puede hacer asi.
Mi abuelo se volvio agresivo, nos escupia la comida en la cara, lieral te apuntaba, no se tomaba su medicina, te absorbia por completo y los demas teniamos vidas propias (escuela, trabajo). Asi q no hubo mas remedio q meterlo en un asilo que represento un sacrificio economico muy grande para todos, donde tuvimos q limitarnos, porque le buscamos uno q tuviera enfermeras de planta y otros servicios.....y nos maldijo por meterlo al asilo casi hasta el dia q muriom

30 years , you would not believe how many elderly men and women are on their own, at the stage your grandmother is in. I really had to fight with myself because I wanted to take them home and look after them. I always felt so bad when they would not even get a visitor.

My lola was 98 when she went to heaven on 2021. She had a very sharp memory. We would often go to her when we need (specific) dates on whatever events.
Seeing you lovingly and patiently caring for your lola makes me miss mine.

Ella se ve ser muy dócil de carácter y el predispuesto a acompañarla y cubrir sus necesidades con mucha suerte puede ella tenerlo,ya que no cualquier adolecente tiene idea de cómo hacerlo,los dos se ven muy dulces compartiendo el tiempo juntos.
