I think you got targeted by the station for bumping your own ship. That used to happen to me a lot when I was first learning the game... bump the hanger on the way in? BAM! Scrape the paint getting out? BAM! Look at the ATC tower the wrong way? BAM! lol.
If you claim your ships the old one is no longer yours, so you lost control over external doors as if it was robbed. Bumping a ship does more damage than the threshold of crimestat on an armistice zone
You forgot to test something. Put a Mantis in the hangar bay and turn on the quantum snare inside the jump tunnel. Maybe try a normal QT jump first. You know, to establish a base line.

That said, you do know that CIG is wiping inventory, UEC and reputation with 4.0? CIG has also said that all progress in the 4.0_PREVIEW build will be rolled into the 4.0 LIVE build. If you are still working on Save Stanton or just want to keep enjoying 3.24.3 and the ships you may have accumulated, then by all means, continue to do so. But if you want to start getting ahead in 4.0 then there is no better time than now. If you decide to start playing 4.0_PREVIEW you don't have to completely uninstall 3.24.3. You can navigate to the LIVE folder location on your drive and rename the "LIVE" folder "4.0_PREVIEW". Then when you open the launcher and you will be able to update to the 4.0_PREVIEW instead of redownloading 110+ GB. Doing it this way you will only download about 4GB. The 3.24.3 LIVE folder is 112GB. The 4.0_PREVIEW folder is 116GB. I hope you aren't that close to full. SSDs don't really like being above 75% capacity and really dislike being above 90% capacity. I swear I was playing in 3.24.3 trying to get trolleys down to my hangar and I saw a Mohawk dude hanging around me xD EDIT: If Olli sees this, it's perfectly fine to keep the footage of my seventh attempt at getting a trolley into a persistent hangar - all I ask is that an info marker or some kind of version number is added to the clip! 😄

21:00 you couldn't dock because you were in NAV mode (no targeting in NAV mode). The death may have been due to a weird server thing like you said though.
I'm pretty sure the death was because the game thought he was still in the tunnel sequence, and if you EVA outside of the tunnel it kills you. So he EVA'd while the game thought he was still jumping, but while he was outside the bounds of the tunnel, and it killed him.
I wouldn't encourage people to try any exploits with the wormhole. We might suffer really bad damage along with cargo in the near future by dicking around like this. Hilarious shenanigans if it weren't in a bottleneck though 😂
I love your content ollie but I don’t know how i feel about the grey market being an official sponsor. I get it as SC sells “fomo” but that money no longer supports the game and instead just the pockets of profiteers

Whenever you leave a mothership hangar, you MUST BE IN DECOUPLED MODE otherwise you will not assume its velocity and will instantly crash into it.
