I dont dislike this boss, but it would become instantly more enjoyable if those beams of light werent coming down with every swing, but rather every slam/Combo finisher for example
He took me several hours as well! I actually rolled my save file back to get a cleaner kill to make the guide with, because my initial one was super scuffed.
i forgot the exact name but the physick tear you get from the fire golem in the gravesite plain and a great shield together you can perfect block literally all his attacks without receiving any damage
Deflecting hardtear. This is what helped me through the second half of the fight. Just spam block button through some of those insane attacks and as long as you have the stamina they don’t touch you. I wonder if they’ll nerf it somehow.
Im playing the game with a lot of restrictions to make the game more challenging and this boss has taken me the longest time (felt like 5 days) with that i have watched many guides. This guide helped me so much and finally beat this boss. The worst boss ever its challenging for every wrong reason. Thanks for the guide!
Glad to be helpful to you! What sort of restrictions are you playing with? I always do my first Souls playthrough as a melee class, no summons, no magic, and don't use ashes of war unless there's a clear weakness to take advantage of, like with the Scadutree Avatar and fire.

Why do none of these boss guides show how to dodge the phase 2 gravity pull into over heal multislam into gravity pull? I always get stunned on thr second gravity pull and cant get out of it.
Uplifting aromatic perfume bottles when he starts second phase will completely make his spell useless n will give you a chance...look up Syrobes thorn sorcery build or lightning perfume build....he killed his ass in 13 seconds 😂
This is so frustrating. Every single guide for this POS involves someone running a video of their run and talking 200 mph. I need ONE SINGLE friggin guide that explains things while showing you the exact move in slow motion clearly, especially for the second phase.
Watch the red cap on top of his right knee. Stay literally in front of that dodging left in circle. Close the distance and stay close to him. After he throws the rocks and your jump run backwards, count 4 attacks and on the fifth dodge right and dodge again towards him closing distance and evading the Aeo... keep trying my friend and he will fall. Promise 🙏🏻😎
Funny, I didn't have any problems with this boss on PS5, but I did with the Divine Beast Dancer. Every time that boss did its head slam attack, the frame rate plummeted.
im on pc, the screen freezes for me during his light attacks in phase 2, i cant even learn it because the screen freezes and i lose all my health in the next frame. My 3070 shouldnt be having lag issues according to their pc requirements...
Only game journo and modern audience who complain to this boss because of skill issue. The best boss ever created by fromsoft that makes souls veterans feel the challenge again. a boss that is truly fair in terms of skill unlike cheap tendius boss that only relies on cheap tricks like summoning millions of unlimited mobs in one screen that can heal the boss itself and worse you are limited by time to finish the boss if not you will be given an instant death penalty. Take a note Lord of fallen.
im using the backhand blade doing great damage to him but second phase has too many hard to dodge attacks and im getting cooked. shield looks like the way to go. he has too many unblockable attacks
I am so happy that we got to see Radahn in his absolute prime. Fighting him on that tiny fucking horse was tough, but still kind of meh. He's the mightiest of the demigods, and I'm here for it. I still haven't beaten him but goddamn he's a badass
I had fun soloing everything until this fight, i cant learn it because it lags too much in phase 2. Seriously considering mimic tear for the first time, this lag is unbeatable

It's tough to dodge with even medium equip load. You can just keep running, if you have enough space to do so.

To be fair, the fight is balanced around you having twice as much strength w/ all the Scadutree Fragments.
