This is one of my favorite things on RUclips, because it stays somewhat true to one culture's vision / style, but incorporates another, and is so playful and amazing. That's what art is about to me. He's Chinese. She's Cuban. He's a master at playing with these styles, and she's a master at adapting and enhancing his jests. Awesome. I wish all cultural relations could be this way.
Its a great honor to be a Cuban ,and to see people all over the world mastering the Cuban`s favorite pasatiempo" dancing Casino. And to those with doubts on who is the best Salsa or Casino dancer, there is none..Cubans are all over the world spreading our roots and culture, and they are very, very good dancers all over. So lets spread love and not hard feelings. Viva El Casino Cubano. Y caballeros vamos a bailar y no perder mas tiempo.
I dont have any excuses no more to tell my wife that i cant learn how to dance salsa look at how much fun that chinese man is having because he know how to dance.
have watched this over and over. never seems to age lovely cheeky dancing with a touch of independance classy and individual . wonder what happened to them.
I love watching this over and over again. Whether people call it salsa or cuban, the main things is the enjoyment of dance and being free to do and try anything.
hola hermano, I dance cuban style from almost 10 years, I'm proud to dance cuban style, and also I find interesting the puerorican style, I went to Cuba and is fantastic. La Habana, Santa Clara, Cien Fuegos, Pinar del Rio. VIVA CUBA
this video to me represents the total joy of our music and our dance! i wake up to it in the morning and look at it before i go to bed. i have also been blessed to dance to the music myself! MUCHO PICANTE!!
Ultimately salsa dancing is about looking good and having fun. The pros have the "looking good" part down because they do everything perfectly but they usually miss the "having fun" part. This couple was very entertaining because they looked good enough and they had a lot of fun.
People are people, give them a chance to learn and their's inner passion will show. white man can play basket ball. Black man can play hockey. latino man can cook sushi. chinese man can really dance salsa. we all bleed in red. Dang, they look they are having load of fun.
Big Ups to these two wonderful dancers!!!
Ciao.
I posted the video because I love the dancing in it and wanted to share the clip with others. Listing the dancers' nationalities in the title was merely for brief descriptive purposes.
@PatsBooks Im from California, In San Francisco Chinesse people make you jaw drop when u see them dance salsa, they take classes seriously, over there, they really learn good!

Obviously, I didn't edit the video or do the camera work. However, "dancing" is not only about a person's feet -- it's also about what you do with the rest of your body and how you feel the music.
For those who feel offended by this comment don't take personally, every country has their ways of dancing salsa, and I was born and lived in Cuba and this is the Cuban style. I did not say people from other nationalities couldn't dance, but every country has their ways. And this is a Cuban show
thanks very much, me too I like dance with women calienti. I'm from italy. For me Joe Arroyo, is one of the best. I have a question wich is the best town for live concert, and clubs of salsa?
When I first posted this video, I wrote in the description column that I don't know who the female dancer is. However, if anybody can verify her name, I would be happy to edit the description to include it. I agree that she does a great job in this video!
I looked around to see if I could find her name but the only thing I could find was a mention of David dancing with a partner named Golondrina at the Festival de Bailes Populares in 2005. Couldn't readily find her beyond that. books.google.com/books/about/Historia_del_baile_y_la_Rueda_de_Casino.html?id=pY9HDwAAQBAJ
