Your river looks in fantastic shape, all ours in Oxfordshire are still in full flood and tanking through, most are still unfishable from the storm we had last week. I went to the Oxford canal on Saturday, it was hard work fishing, the weather and the water was cold so the fishing was very slow, had a handful of Perch including my very first 40cm Perch, so much fun on UL gear, 0.5g-6g 180cm rod, 1000 reel, caught on a 40mm creature bait on a flexi cheb/jg set up. Don't get me wrong, catching wasps and getting a bend in the rod is great but a big 40cm is fantastic. Glad you picked up a couple of tanks on your river. Thanks for sharing your video,
I am on holiday at this moment, filmed this week ago. Not sure what condition is at this moment, maybe flooded as well 😅 I noticed as well that fishing got much slower and presentation need to be much slower. So true - small perch are fun but 40cm is totally different beast, specially on UL gear. Interesting that same for me and you creature baits are working best at this moment, must be something what they like to feed on 🤔 Thanks for watching 😁👊🎣
nice perch my friend :) you should come to south wales and fish my local reservoir dude. 300 pike and couple of thousand perch were added at the beginning of the year :) i have year permit might go this afternoon :)
Thanks mate 😁👊 Wow, sounds fantastic, really would like to. But i have small kid and have nowhere to leave. If you would write me on Instagram, we could arrange something for spring time, would be great 😁👊🎣
Both of them i bought straight from Japan. I can't remember where from exactly i bought rod but i did video on it. And reel i bought through Japanese Amazon
