It's a jika rig not a drop shot rig, it's designed to fish just off the bottom

Yeah, that's right, it's jika rig. It can be very effective as it goes right near bottom and weight is lifting some dirt from bottom, supposingly making it look more realistic 😁🎣

@ManAndRod it's a great rig for winter time especially I've used it for perch with so good results and in ultra light form it's great for lrf species

So true brother. Is there any particular size what works for you best or you are mixing them?

@ManAndRod I use 0.9, 1.8 and 2.5g with hooks from size 2-10 (decoy, tict, inch hooks and vanfook worm 35b ) these days increases chances with out being to to bulky also gives me decent options for the free rig lure size up to 3in in my case

So true. Very strange that they are so fragile knowing all technology and materials in these days. There is so many lures which so hard to break. But still, as you said - they are fantastic lures 👊🎣

Yeah man, i was shocked how nice it was. And yeah, very happy with my rod. Mine is up to 8g, would like to try up to 5g. Sometimes it is a bit too powerful but still love it 😀 💪🎣
