Peter M. - AA Speaker - "Staying Current with God, The Work, and Others"

One of my absolute favorite AA speakers, Peter M., shares some awesome experience, strength, and hope in this tape. He tells his story, and he also talks about "staying current" with all aspects of his Program of Recovery, and how it helps deepen his relationship with God, the 12 steps, as well as his friends and family. A small description here doesn't really do it justice, but this tape is REALLY good. Every time I listen to Peter I always take away something useful, inspirational, and soul-nourishing. Thank you!

Peter has given me so much hope,I heard him speak at a young people's event at age 17, 2 months sober, chronic relapser,with very little hope...hearing his share of what can come if i follow this path gave me the willingness to come to god and finish a 4th step a few days after the conference. coming up on 2 years sober,God willing. amazing

A life of service to others was the profound statement that I continually heard in this message.Chop wood and carry water.Its great to live a life with purpose and to look back on my journey and see that God brought to this place I am today which has transformed my life and the lives of those close to me and the lives of other men who were once broken and hopeless like me.I used to go pay 50 cents to take a shower at the Bowery Mission on the Lower east side around the time you got sober.God does connect the dots..Powerful Message!! Wow Peter, you've really com along way from the days at conscious contact meetings, back then his saying was " were are you currently" you knew who his sponsees were,they would ask everyone " were are you currently",today its "chop wood ,carry water", wow, Peter,come a long way,God continue to bless you and use you for His glory
