He's basically the first official form of super sonic in the comics. In some later comics super sonic kinda became a separate evil entity from sonic entirely. Well i say first official because even though super sonic was obviously from the games (only like the first 2 genesis games existed at the time) Fleetway's super sonic was the only depiction of super sonic and how sonic is affected by the chaos energy during that time. sadly he'll never come back though, he got trapped back into sonic presumed to be nonexistent now. Boo.
