My first car was a 1969 Mustang! I will always love them.
Been a Mustang guy my whole life. My mom even had a 65 coupe. My first was a 67 fastback, now I own a 2007 GT500. Awesome.

Wife and I have had 3 different mustangs. Last one was a 2017 Roush which was totalled out by a damn texting driver. Man I miss that car so much fun. We had it parked in mustang alley in 2018. Cruised down there with a large group of fellow Roush owners. Was a great time loved every minute of it.

Cruised my GT 350 Woodward Dream Cruise this year. I had no less than five people yelling at me to rev that thing up! Course I had to do it and bump it off the redline LOL Sounds great in that tunnel north of 9 mile too!
That godly sound of the car makes me nut.
Ford knocked it out of the park with the S550 design. I have a 2017 EcoBoost Mustang in Race Red and I love the car. Good job Blue Oval!

Holy snap you have a Cobra?! So lucky man. I just have a 2003 Mustang GT 5 speed with gears and CAI/off-road x pipe. Is your Cobra stock?
Angel Gutierrez Just about stock. It has a smaller pulley, tune, and drilled/slotted disk brakes. The last owner didn’t take good care of it drivetrain wise and it has a timing cover leak and one of the timing chain guid rattles. The oil pan leaked too but I fixed that and replaced the wheel bearings. I plan on big things for the car but it takes money I don’t currently have and I wanted to fix the problems with it first. I got it for an awesome price last year and figured it would be a fun project car. The only thing the last owner took care of was the paint and interior. That Mystichrome looks sooooo good. I Love the GT’s man! Be prideful of your car.
Ya boy Kris Thank you. Are pulleys a worth upgrade? I’m slowly building up my mustang. If I was rich I’d slap a Supercharger in it. :)
Angel Gutierrez It helped but nothing too crazy. I’d need to port my supercharger for it to make a bigger difference. Once I fix the leak and my timing chain guid I plan on full catless exhaust system. Long tubes, x-pipe, the whole 9 yards as far as exhaust goes. Then upgrade the fuel system to run e85 and push more fuel in. Then do something to help it breath better.

lol new mustang nascar. Every car is the same in nascar, might as well call it a camry.
I'll assume Detroit is the choice on location... for the economic stimulation to one of America's most run down cities... either that, or FORD is just lazy and didn't want to set up GT500 displays in a state that would make this event accessible to exponentially more Mustang owners, like say Texas, where there are more muscle car owners per capita in the entire country. I'm in CA for the record...
You do realize Ford has its headquarters in Dearborn Michigan? Flat Rock Michigan is where they assemble the Mustang. Woodward Dream Cruise is the biggest 1 day car show in the world. Why would a company with Detroit roots randomly set up the GT500 in Texas lol? Oh yeah and the Woodward Cruise doesn't go through Detroit. Maybe you should stick to your avocado toast since you don't wtf you're talking about.
