Max you are very humble indeed. Great take on an ‘old school’ style that compliments the old Ford beautifully and still retains that unmistakable style of yours. At the end of the day I think that being able to truly and respectfully represent the different styles that exist within pin striping whilst at the same time being able to execute it in a way where you seamlessly introduce your styles attributes is the hallmark of a master. I can’t help but think that cutting your teeth in the tattoo world, where every line is about total commitment and backing yourself 100%, must have given you a nice foundation from which to develop your striping stripes! 👍🏼

Well we'll well. I got myself some paint (alphanamel) and a kafka #3 stroller. Got a picture frame w glass
    s. Palleted the brush. Dipped the tip in some mineral spirits and re-palleted. Put the brush to the glass. Holy crap, I have a new found respect for you and the others on here making this look easy. 😢
    Couple thoughts..
The paint went on very thin, not great coverage. What did I do wrong?

To thin. There is a place where the viscosity of the paint is just right. What color are you painting with. Some colors thin better than others.

What brush were you using on the lettering? Cool video.

I dont remember! So I looked in my brush box and figured: "What brush would I use?"
I came up with a Mack 189L size 5. That'll do th job! (Or, an old 7)

@@maxkilbourne3142 Thanks. I ordered a Mack size 3 and 8 that was suggested from your other video. I'll start practicing soon. Lettering enamels and lettering brushes are different from the acrylic paint and shorter bristle brushes that I use as a canvas painter.

They are super different! It is because of the length of the brush that makes those long clean lines possible. Make sure you clean those brushes good, and oil them. They will last ya.

What do you use to make those white layout lines?

    • @maxkilbourne3142

A Stabillo pencil. A must have for laying things out when using One-shot.
