My Home Is Where You Are / Lyric Video

My sister has been asking us to post this video for so many years. So, this one is for her, a military wife who has moved more than her share of times!!
I (Kristi) wrote this song after Bryan and I moved our little (back then) family to a new state. Home began to take on new meaning for me.
Home is a place of safety and peace, comfort and rest...a place where you are truly known and truly loved.
One day I was sitting at the kitchen table trying to squeeze in some quiet time while the kids were playing outside, and I read in my devotional these words: "You are like a home to me."
That's when I really began to understand that no matter where I live or what I'm going through, God is my peace, my safety, my comfort, and my rest. And, He has promised that He will never leave me or forsake me. So, I can always say, "Lord, my home is where You are."
