I ordered a set when I was drunk and I don’t regret it. Love love love the ethos, but I’ll see if I will re purchase based on how much the products last. I have to honest, you can get good gentle body care products for cheaper. Out of the three products, my favorite is surprisingly the sex gel. Enjoyed the video as usual Matilda.

I too appreciate, respect and actually love the anonymity. The camera focus on the featured products is what I prefer. I like the style of filming and focusing on the product because I can visually see it up close. Even for videos such as “what’s in my bag”, I always prefer a visual focus on the bag and product with a voice over, instead of the RUclipsr holding up the product/object for a few moments then talking about it.

Hi Mathilda, another lovely review, thank you. I’m in northern Europe so not able to try these. For my sensitive skin I enjoy bodycare by Vichy, La Roche Posay and Weleda (the rose oil is lovely with a green herbal smell❤️).

Thank you Rose! These Essie Gel Couture polishes last really well on me, about a week with minimal chipping. They're a normal nail polish so you can take them off with regular polish remover, but they're called 'gel' because they're more long wearing 💅 x

Thank you Rachel! ☺️ Always really hard to comment on this unfortunately because it really depends how frequently you're using a product, and how much of it. I'd say the Body Wash lasts a couple of months for me (but I use quite a lot of it!) whereas the Body Lotion takes longer because I don't apply it every day x

My new fave body lotion is the La Roche Posay Lipikar Lait- have you tried it? It is AMAZING. I have super dry skin and my skin has never felt so soft. So so rich but sinks in like a dream. Recommend!

I know you swear by their eye make up remover (as have I ) and wanted to know if you have any favorite runner ups...
Thank you! No unfortunately not - Chanel is the one I swear by too. The one other bi-phase eye makeup remover I've tried is from La Roche Posay, which was not a bad drugstore alternative. All of the cleansers I use are in my old Skincare Routine video and more recent 2018 Skincare Favourite video! 👍 x

The giveaway is weird in a few ways. You don’t mention it here that it is for US residents only. And if it is only for US, why choose Australian blogger? And I think you have international following, for example, I am from Russia, so not being able to participate is also not really nice. Like a lot of people order stuff from US and if they are going to expand their business, isn’t it great to already have loyal customers in other countries? It has nothing to do with you obviously but I am really confused
Hi Anya, happy to clarify a few things for you. I didn't go into the details of the giveaway deliberately - I just mentioned the link so people could find out more if they were interested, but didn't have to sit through a long explanation if they weren't. The internet is international and my audience is too, so it's not very nice to question them working with me just because I'm Australian... My nationality has nothing to do with it, my content does 👍 Nécessaire is only a very new company so they currently only ship to the US, so it wasn't a choice to limit the giveaway - it's legally the only place they can ship their products at the moment. The good news is they'll be expanding their shipping this year so more people can discover their products! Hope that clears things up x

Giveaways are not just companies being nice to people for no reason (although that would be great hah), it is meant to sell more by getting people to know and try your product, get recognition. And usually brands like to target a specific audience. For example, if I had a Russian cosmetic brand that sells exclusively in Russia, I wouldn't do a marketing deal with a blogger from Sweden, because my audience for now is in Russia and whilst some of my target audience can still watch that Swedish blogger it makes more sense to make a deal with someone from the same country, so I can sell more products to only customers I can reach for now. I almost never comment on youtube and I really like your videos, like really, I've been following you almost a year but with this giveaway I am just wondering like what was the purpose? I hope I described it comprehensively this time, whew :)
My answer is still the same Anya - the internet is international so it's less important where something is advertised from. The biggest example? Almost all product sales from my videos happen outside Australia. We also live in a time where more people than ever are travelling and can buy products overseas, so marketing doesn't need to be narrow-minded. The vast majority of my audience is based in the US so many have been able to participate in the giveaway and 'know and try the product' - I've received lots of messages from people who've made a purchase. And as I said, Nécessaire are only two months old and will be expanding their shipping and stockists this year. They also work with US bloggers but you seem to really be questioning their choice to work with me, so frankly that's a question for them, rather than repeatedly telling me it's 'weird' and you don't see the purpose. You're right, this isn't a company being nice to a random blogger, it's about having a good working relationship - in addition to what I explained above about the global reach of the internet, I would hope their choice was because the team liked my content and style, know I love their products so would explain them thoughtfully, and believed my audience would be interested to try the brand (and they were right!) 👏 I'm sure they hope to offer international giveaways in future, and I do too. I'm not sure what you mean by 'bad' Jo, but I think it's a fantastic formula! A gentle mix of physical and chemical exfoliants is a great idea. It's one of my favourite body exfoliators I've ever used 👏 x
