Thank you so much for watching this video and taking the time to read my description.
ALL NEGATIVE AND RUDE COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED. BE KIND TO EACH OTHER ♥
This is definitely the best bleach bath video on RUclips!
Thank you!
Meredith Hicks i know right!!!
Doing a bleach bath to remove purple. It was so satisfying to see your purple dye lift super fast.
Omg. How am I just realizing that you commented on this video a YEAR AGO? Holy shit. I can't believe you've been watching for that long. You're amazing, and I love you.
Wow! You could SEE the purple coming out, like, immediately! Gives me hope that I can get out MY purple with this method. Thanks!!
This is exactly what I needed to see! I'm doing a bleach bath to strip out pink later tonight and I just needed to watch a video of encouragement so that I can make sure I'm going to do everything right. Your colour faded so fast! I have high hopes :D
drop dead how did it go ? i have a blue that faded to à mint green when bleached. thinking of trying this methode x
Dayna Baldwin did you try colour remover? If not, I recommend that. It's wayyy less damaging. (but it works)
Did you try it? Did you also use oil before application?/
I’m excited to try this! I got worried about the bleach, and it damaging my hair. I never would’ve thought you could use coconut oil FIRST. Thanks for the tips.
your hair color just instantly lifted out!!! wow!!!!
Worked like a charm. It lifted many many years of dark brown permanent hair dye. It was shocking, however, to see bright orange roots. I immediately had to go to town covering up all that orange. But now I'm finally on a path to using semi-permanent dye.
Loves how you soaked in coconut oil, mixed shampoo and conditioner. Like triple protection! Great tutorial and method. I did this but honestly probably should have used coconut oil and conditioner too lolz
THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO FOR LEARNING HOW TO DO A BLEACH BATH !! Tysm !! I did mine to take out my left over pink hair dye ❤️❤️❤️
Omg I hope this works, I have blue-green hair (the worst ik) i dont want to bleach again my hair its really frustrating and i have tried so many things. The bleach bath seems a lot easier and faster so fingers crossed ill try it tomorrow !
ha god i also have the same issue
Did this work?? currently in the same boat thinking of using 10vol though cause i have such light natural hair
How did it go?
i used l'oreal efassor mixed with water and did it twice and all the blue is out now treating my hair with coconut oil and silver shampoo but worked brilliant would defo recommend! watch this video ruclips.net/video/SCUuC1MUUP8/видео.html
I know the vids in fast forward, but WOW that purple came out so fast!!! Very satisfying.and I do the coconut oil thing already..and I've used shampoo too, but never heard if adding conditioner..it makes so much sense.thanks!
I've got blue and it has been on my hair for way too long. I mean, it's not necessarily a bad thing but this babe needs to go with minimum damage and this just saved it.
Bless you!!!
This works like magic😍 I will be using this for the rest of my life thank you 🙏🏻
i have naturally light brown hair but my hair is split between my natural colour on the left side and blonde on the right side. i ALWAYS bleach bath my roots when doing the bleached hair as my hair is naturally too light to be pure bleaching! works an absolute treat on light natural hair too! i use 20vol also
Bleach bath happening as I type. Have a blue-purple fade with blonde with medium blonde grow-out areas.
This is the only helpful video I’ve watched!! Thank you, I’m gonna do it tomorrow 💜
Glad the video helped!
@@KendallElizabeth96 I’m back to blonde from red/purple 💜💜
@@KendallElizabeth96and my hair didn’t fall out 😭💜
This is what I needed!! My hair is so patchy with different shades of purple and it’s bugging me!! I’m doing this
One of the most helpful videos so far! Thanks so much babe 😘x
Thanx for sharing!
That's pretty friggin cool.
The best video I could find!! Thank you!! 🖤
Time to get my purple out! so excited to try this! then i'm gonna tone it with a grey based toner :)) your hair looks awesome!!!
Thank you! Good luck on your hair journey!
this worked like a dream!! thank you
Wow, that worked amazing quick. Thanks for sharing the video. I'm currently bleaching towards platinum. I initially used color remover twice to try to remove all the old years and years of box dye color from my hair. During my last full bleaching process I was able to lift it about 3-4 levels in 45 mins, but the back of my hair is 1-2 levels darker than the front due to dye staining, so I'm going to have to do something to it again, either a full bleaching, or a bleach bath to try to lighten it enough to eliminate those stubborn stains, and hopefully get it to the level of the front of my hair. I've been debating on whether to do a bleach bath, or another full bleaching on it this time. But with a bleach bath I can work the product through more, instead of it just sitting in one spot the entire time, plus it will be less damaging to my hair, although I'll be using coconut oil and Olaplex both with either process I decide to do. I was kind of reluctant to do a bleach bath, afraid I'd have to repeat the process multiple times, or have to turn around and do a full bleaching anyway, but after watching your video, and seeing all the purple disappear, (by the way what brand was the purple that you removed)? I'm now a lot more hopeful that it will work for me too. Any suggestions on other things I can do to help clear those stubborn box dye stains out of there? Do you think a bleach bath will remove the dye staining, or should a do another full bleaching?
+Bren Ten You don't want to overdo your hair. It's best to take the process slow. Please learn from my mistakes in the past. I would suggest doing a bleach bath because it's more gentle. You may just have to wait a few weeks to a month depending on the condition of your hair. Box dye is super hard to remove. If you dye your hair in the future, go to Sally's. Most areas have one. You will have to buy dye and developer, but it's worth it. I believe I had Pravana Chromasilk Vivids in violet on my hair. I was surprised it worked so well, honestly. Best of luck!
Thank you Kendall Elizabeth for the info. I've been taking it slow because my hair was already dry from years of dying it, and also being on medications, and having thyroid disease all of which causes extremely dry hair, and causes a lot of shedding too. (lol I always say my thyroid disease causes me to shed like a dog, and it's the truth too).
I actually had a protein treatment done on my hair about 2 weeks before, and did an Olaplex stand alone treatment the day before starting any processing at all, and used Olaplex in all the processes I've done, except the color removers (I'm not sure if I can use it in so I didn't). For the bleaching process I used tons of coconut oil and Olaplex both for double added protection.
As far as the processes, I didn't do the 2 color removers back to back and then hit it with a full bleaching immediately following that etc. I've been waiting a couple of weeks between each process, and hydrating, and deep conditioning the heck out of my hair between times . I did tone it, just to knock that yucky brass down some, but for now I'm just letting it rest, conditioning, and hydrating well until time for my next process. I also did a 2nd Olaplex stand alone treatment after all the previous processing for added protection as well.
The back of my hair is not platinum yet, but hopefully it will be in time, (sometimes that box dye staining will not come out or bleach out of a person's hair), so for right now if people don't like my lighter in the front, darker in the back hair color they can turn their head the other way, lol that's why they have a neck.
I can honestly say though with all the extra TLC before, during and after the processes, and the addition of my little miracle in a bottle called Olaplex (which is the best $100 I've ever spent), that my hair is in so much better condition now then it's been in for years.
Before I'd just color it, slap a little gel in it here and there, and call it done, but since I knew the processes were going to be hard, and damaging on my already not in great shape hair, I took a lot of steps to repair any previous damage months in advance before ever preforming that 1st process. I had my hair bleached years ago, by a so called professional, and I kid you not it looked like I had dried dead corn husks on my head, and I wanted to ensure that didn't happen again this time.
IMO, be it hair like mine that wasn't in the greatest shape for various reasons, or someone's hair that was in wonderful shape beforehand, the technique should be the same. We all have 1 of 2 choices: 1) We can be patient, take it slow and easy, and do it the smart/right way, so we end up with healthy hair, and no irreversible damage by the time all the harsh processing is finished. OR 2) We can want it done right now, and do all the processes back to back, severely over processing our hair without repairing, deep conditioning, and hydrating all the things that we are removing during the processes, and risk coming out with no hair left at all. I don't know about everybody else, but I now choose #1, because I've chose #2 in the past myself, and I can promise you, it is not a pretty sight. :)
Thanks again for the info, and have a wonderful night.
wow.. one of the nicest video on bleach bath so far 😍😍😍😍
Omg this video helped me so much thanks girllll! 😭👏💞
It actually worked the first time I did it! I will do it again next time but only on my ends because it still red and it looks like i have an ombre 😂
wow yours came out like nothing. that never happens for me :-(
I was super surprised, honestly!!
If you have coarse hair it will be harder to bleach. Fine hair bleaches more easily.
Same 😭 that's why I'm here to see what I did wrong
Thank you! Best video I've seen so far.
Currently trying it the purple hair color ame out so quick:) thank you
Your eyes are so beautiful 💕
I have a minty green in my hair and I want to strip it. I’m hoping I can do it with a bleach wash like this and also lighten my hair at the same time. This one was perfect! Thanks.
Seen this in 2018 :) . Wanted to say that i wanna try this out with my red hair (dyed tips only). My ends are already pretty damaged because i tried color fix (thats how my ends got damaged). i plan on cutting my hair in a couple of months so its find if my ends damage more lol. I really hope the bleach bath works on the color red because i wanna go to a much BRIGHTER RED. Wish me luck😯.
You should just try COLOR OOPS. It's not bleach. Lots less damaging. And then order some red OVERTONE. Best product on the market. Check out the site it'll blow your mind. It's color depositing deep conditioner and it always makes my hair feel amazing and bright
THIS...IS SO SATISFYING
Loved this video and you're super pretty!
Omg I loved this video exactly to the point and what I need to see!!!
Ty for the instructional vid and demonstration! This is random but it was also fun watching you swish your hair around haha
Damn this is the best tutorial I’ve seen thank you
Oh wow! It instantly removed your purple dye. I'm doing this for my red hair 💕
Did it work on your red hair? I have a maroon color and I'm thinking of doing this..
@@autiespear5682 I haven't tried. I'm scared my hair will fallout more 😂
That’s what I’m using it for 🙈. Really hope my hair doesn’t fall out 😂
never done a bleach bath .. but a toner will take the brass out, it looks pretty
I'm really bad at toning hair :/ lol
Do you apply bleach bath to damp hair ? Or dry hair ?
same question
I removed all (and I mean EVERY trace of my neon and super bright red hair (and a bit of purple on the roots) using ONE colour stripper. ONE.
So I didnt even need to use a bleach bath in the end to remove ANY colour and I was worried as this red dye is one of the WORSE colours to remove especially when I've used the red dye once a week to keep it looking vibrant for nearly TWLEVE YEARS!!! I've tried ALL the colour strippers here in the UK. So from the EU and America too but nothing beats one I found in a drugstore a couple of weeks ago. My kids colouldnt belive how blonde my hair is. I look totally different. Now I'm going to try bleach bathing just the roots to see how lighter I can get it (I have dark brown hair but got to a level 10 using a 10% developer AND Olaplex that also dilutes it. The bleach I normally use has a bond builder in it and way and stops 90% of the damage. First time I'll be trying a bleach bath on my roots tomorrow as I've never used the bleach bath method yet. Lol. Wish me luck! 🍀🍀😂😂🤣🤣🤣
We have the same length hair in this video. I’m doing a bleach bath to rid a dated deep auburn out of my hair. And doing a cool dark blonde. I hope this works. 🤞🏻
Thats cool.. I will try.. Ohh my gosh i hope it will work on mine
This helped so much! Thanks
Best bleach bath video ive seen!!! Thank you so much ❤️
this was so helpful as I wanna remove pink die so tyyy
trying this tonight! my hair is a faded red and i wanna go green 😬😬
Did the coconut oil help it process faster or just to protect your hair? i know you had the video fast forwarding through but it was like magic ! normally it wouldnt process that fast with a 30 , maybe a 40 but maybe.
Amanda Orner her hair was previously bleached very light. Previously bleach hair lifts fast
Coconut oil is usually used before bleach (as in, put it on your hair, then use the bleach on top) to help protect the hair from too much bleaching damage. :) It doesn't do anything in terms of assisting the bleaching process.
Definitely gonna try this on my hair I tried color oops and turned the blue green 😂 but now gonna try this
Your eyes are beautiful
You guys dont need bleach washes to remove those brilliant colors i use the pulptiot blank canvas made it mega blinde in less than 5 mins and doesnt damage your hair like bleach
.
That is bleach actually
It would be really helpful if in the future you gave more specific measurements or ratios that you used!
Rebekah Walker it literally says on the back of the products what ratio to use. Either 1:1 or 1:2 depending on the product.
I messed up my pretty blonde hair with pink dye I wonder if this will work
you deserve more subscribers!!!
Awe, thank you. You're so sweet :)
If you use purple shampoo it will take the yellow & brassy out
best one I've seen!!! thank you !!
My hair is down to my waist, so should I start from my ends and work my way up? I usually keep my hair in braids (with my bangs out) and I was thinking it would be easier?
+Moonfire Duskfall When bleaching hair, you are supposed to divide your hair into 4 sections, BUT do what is easiest for you. As long as you avoid your roots, you can place the bleach wherever on your hair.
+Moonfire Duskfall Hit the roots last.
I’ve been dying my hair black for years,
I’ve been thinking about dying my hair red.
Do you think it’s worth doing a bleach bath then bleaching properly a few days later ?
Quick question to anyone who may know. I did a bleach bath on my dyed black hair, saved the roots for last but they came out bright yellow and the rest barely even lifted. My hair is healthy and pretty thick. Is it really bad to do another bleach bath right after?
im not sure about this. i just bleached bath my hair and my hair becomes so stringy and it is scary. i think i mixed them wrong
hello, i have purple hair now and its quite faded. i dont have coconut oil, do i need to wet my hair before applying it? please answer. my hair is already dry to be honest
Your video was easy to follow thanks
I'm glad! You're welcome! :)
really good video!! :)
Looks great
Thank you :)
Can jojoba oil work instead of coconut
How much conditioner and shampoo should I use? That’s the only thing I’m tryna figure out. Or did I miss that
Thank you 🙏🏼 gorgeous
Did anyone try this? Putting in oil before bleach bath is new to me? Did anyone try with oil
If you put it on your root does it life the natural color? I want to go back to my balage blonde but scared ill lift the roots
Omg amazing thanks!!!
Would this work to remove red/orange tones
Can I use 30 volume developer?
What can I use instead of coconut oil x
I accidentally dyed my hair a orange copper like color (semi permanent), i will try this and let you guys know what happens!! Wish me luck
kendall now many oz of each product do i use i have the same hair cut as you?
I did this yesterday, and my purple turned pinkish orange 🤦🏻 its so splotchy and some of the spots are like hot pink? Any recommendations?
i dont have coconut oil
Does this work ok if you do ya roots,l dye my hair pink all time, but then l need to do roots when they need doing,so does it take on roots, when you mix the shampoo with bleaching, sorry to sound thick but l just asking!
Didnt work for me? Is it because i added 10 volume in fear to burn off my very blonde hair which i accidentally toned ugly brown/ginger. But my roots really did take. Now i have pink bottom and yellow top.
So my hair is dark blue but like a month and a half old. I was wondering if I would have to do more than one treatment or not.
can i replace coconut oil with olive oil ?? hope u can answer thiss
Yes, I believe any oil will do.
Question : if you put the bleach bath mixture on your roots will your roots lighten ? 😊
+JlkkloPlaythroughs Yes, your roots will lighten. I didn't know the bleach bath was going to work as well as it did, so I got my roots last but the purple was already removed and to prevent damage to my hair, I took it out before my roots had a chance to lighten. The best idea is to do a test strand to see how stubborn your hair is with getting rid of the precious dye. If it's stubborn, do roots last. If it lifts as easy as my did, start with your roots.
How did your roots not turn orange from the bleach?
The bleach wasn't on long enough to process my roots. I didn't realize the color would come out of my hair so easily and fast.
youre so cute!!! i'm obsessed
Thank you!
Girl YES, OMG
Hi Kendall, i have ombre technique with my natural color on top and fantasy faded color on the ends. I wanna change the color of the ends, will the bleach bath also bleach my natural hair on top??? cause that would be a disaster... and it's very hard to meticulously apply the mixture on JUST the hairs with fantasy color on..
It will bleach your natural hair.
What other oil can you use beside coconut oil?
I think any oil would be fine. Argan oil is super good for your hair, but olive oil or jojoba oil would be good too.
How long did you leave the coconut oil in for?
how long did you leave it in
50 mins max, but watch your hair closely.
For some reason every time I try this it doesn't work on my hair ....
I'm sorry to hear that :(
Okay so if I don’t have the shampoo and conditioner can I use dish washing soap I have Ajex?
Dish soap is not meant for your hair.
i cry cuz i have arctic fox in my hair and this shit does not want to come out XD i hope this works
+Tea Fox Good luck! Let me know how it goes 😊
I have splat, and IT JUST WONT COME OUT
Hello! Could you tell me how much time did you wait until you bleached the roots? thanks
I did it right after the rest.
Why did u start with coconut oil?
To help protect the hair from damage.
I have naturally medium blonde hair with red undertones, I currently have faded purple dye in my hair. would this method take out the colour and lighten my hair for??
I don't see why it wouldn't work!
U said shampoo and conditioner!!!!?
She used shampoo to emulsify and maybe conditioner to reduce the alkalinity
It doesn't need to leave 1 inch apart? It's ok for the scalp?
I don't have a problem with it, but if you have a sensitive scalp, it may cause irritation. It can also depend on the bleach you use. Some are harsher than others, and super harsh ones would most likely cause problems.
i want to lighten my hair, i’m afraid to do all the bleach process, so i was wondering if i can lighten it with the “bleach bath” or “bleach rinse” however it’s called. how can i do that? can someone help me ? how is it work ?
Stefany Stoilkova yes you can
Do i need to a bleach bath on my natural black hairs if you want to dye my hairs brown???
Sana Rana You can bleach bath it, yes.
