15:25 They all test mostly the same skills, just to different extents. Like movement on one game might be much easier than another, but it still matters. So it's not terribly suspicious
5:45 for some games, you only need a recording if you got above a certain time threshold. You dont need video proof of you getting number 452 in a popular speedrun, as they arent gonna watch it anyways

WaveWarrior repeatedly asked Jadiwi if he was recording his runs and Jadiwi kept making excuses for why he wasn’t recording the runs. However, when WaveWarrior asked Jadiwi to do a hard restart to prove that his world record run of 1:43:00 for Pokémon Red Any% Glitchless was recorded live, Jadiwi simply shut off his stream. At this point, Jadiwi was DEFINITELY hiding something. Needless to say, Jadiwi was caught cheating and banned from Pokémon speedrunning FOR LIFE (I believe). Just goes to show that cheating to win NEVER pays off.
0:30 Cheating in speedrunning in general is pretty uncommon - it's just that the ones that do cheat, you hear about a lot There's never been a single cheater (at least, one that was caught I guess) in the game that I run.

The idea that good players don't cheat because they "don't have a reason to," or are "too good at the game," is sadly often false. Good players are often the worst cheaters as they know how to hide it better than a newer player.
