Nah, grifters like Bischoff & others in the media are. There’s plenty of things to critique AEW about, but this TV deal blatantly proved how clueless they are on half the things they say. Also, if we go by history, WWE has FAR deeper dodgy involvements to warrant being hated on, so if we’re really gonna act like an irritating reporter or promoter are enough to get them hated then that’s just very very stupid & says more about wrestling fans than anything else tbh.
@@JCGaming13 I think it's simply people genuinely enjoying the product less, which increased the demand for negative videos. Even if some negative people say crazy shit, people gravitated to them over the media people who were reluctant to say anything truly negative. This has recently changed though.
@@BigmanDogsI do agree with that, but I think there’s been a growing niche of people that have massively pushed certain narratives. I agree with some of the critiques but if you judge by social media you’d think they’d done nothing good at all. Literally everything gets portrayed in a negative light by many of these guys & the funny part is to try to seem reasonable many will compare it to 2021 to say 2021 was great, but if you actually go back & look in 2021 a lot of the same guys were shitting on everything back then too lol.

Very good interview. I am a long time wrestling fan who has been aware of Dave but hadn’t followed him. Worth the watch start to finish.
Dave is the main reason why AEW is on the decline. Tony panders to him and his cult and it shows! They resent characters, charisma and storylines. They just want spots!

I wouldn’t say Jim leaving ROH fixed it, there was a lot going on with the i PPV issues, go fight live etc…the creative was exactly the same after he left. It got better once all the streaming issues got fixed. Also the company that owned ROH was not helping matters.

Some of his wrestling takes are good but it's just that he is very biased. Dave is a great historian, reliable for spreading rumours, his star ratings and news are debatable but overall a convincing personalities in wrestling

Speaking to a question early in the show that’s why Tony needs to have lower tiered contracts with mid and lower level talent so they go out and wrestle outside of aew get the ring time, and promo time they need. Tony has these partnerships njpw I don’t know if they still have the us dojo but reopen it and teach American style here and have excursions to Japan and Mexico.
