SoCal Raptor Runs Playas To Pines (Christmas Toy Drive) 2023

SoCal Raptor Runs heads to Las Vegas! But NOT the Vegas you know! Nevada has some of the best high speed, diverse, and challenging offroading out there! We put together our last event of the year and hoped to do some good! A part of every trucks entry fee went directly to Toys For Tots. Our goal was to help bring just a little extra Christmas cheer.
Day one involved high speed sections with challenging terrain, a few blind corners, some bumps, a GREAT silt bed, and some surprise fly overs from the US Air Force in some A10 Warthogs. Maybe they heard about our donations?
Day two brought BEAUTIFUL views of uninterrupted mountains, pines, elevation changes, jumps, and overall amazing weather as well. We could not have asked for a better weekend.
As always in Vegas, there are some late nights and some gambling. We lost a few of the crew on the early morning Sunday run. But, we got to visit more weird stuff in the desert, and get some fun looks when we roll up out of nowhere from the dirt! And Terrible Herbst even gave us a low buzz with their helicopter. Still waiting for that footage!
But overall, we had a GREAT time. Moved fast, stayed rubber side down, and didn't lose any trucks. And our paramedic Kenan was happy as always, no work for him to do!
