NorCal & SoCal Raptor Runs 2024 Toy Drive
2024 was a great year for the groups! We covered a ton of miles, had great laughs, fun times, and got to see some really cool places offroad. And to cap off the entire year, we donated a ton of toys to Toys for Tots and Spark of Love toy drive! This video shows our last Raptors & Coffee event of the year. We hosted at Baja HQ's shop in San Juan Capistrano (Thanks Baja HQ!) and had just under 200 trucks attend! We ended up donating over 250 toys, and dropped them all off at the local OCFA Fire Station (Station 56) in Rancho Missing Viejo.
If you attended and donating, THANK YOU. If you are looking for ways to participate in future events, check us out on Facebook and Instagram at "NorCal Ra...

NorCal/SoCal Raptor Runs Lead Truck Walkaround

Check out the modifications and additions to our NCRR/SCRR lead truck! Well, sometimes a sweep truck too! But, this 2022 Ford Raptor has everything you need to hit the dirt and be completely self sufficient. I often get questions about how I set this truck up, what parts are on it, and why. It might not show the giant box of run tee shirts and raffle prizes in the backseat trail lunches bouncin...

SoCal Raptor Runs heads to Las Vegas! But NOT the Vegas you know! Nevada has some of the best high speed, diverse, and challenging offroading out there! We put together our last event of the year and hoped to do some good! A part of every trucks entry fee went directly to Toys For Tots. Our goal was to help bring just a little extra Christmas cheer. Day one involved high speed sections with cha...

Welcome to over 330 of the most epic, scenic trails inside the state of California. NorCal and SoCal Raptor Runs tackle Mammoth Lakes! For our summer kick off run, we head to Moab Utah! Our multi-day run covered hundreds of miles of trail, creek crossings galore, the White Rim Canyon, beautiful views, technical switchbacks, and once in a lifetime experiences. The capstone trail was the White Rim. Said to take 10-14 hours, or 2-3 days of travel time, we managed to cover it, start to finish, in under 6 hours! The views, terrain,...

Your videos are sic …The videography is awesome. Looks like you have a lot of fun! I love seeing all the Raptors!! I can’t wait for your next video. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! Hope to have you on a run one day!
Fire station lights on the red R?
Boat lights. But, that's a non-R. Soon to change!
@ I think that’s where the fire service got that from actually!
Looks like so much fun. Happy New Year!
It was! Happy New Year!
Raptors are far too wide for any of the trails in my hood. But dang, this video makes me want to start squeezing one through. Great stuff.
Do it! You'll find new trails! Most of us drive quite a bit to find the good stuff! But it's worth it.
How do I sign up for this trip? I live in Washington and have a raptor.
We do trips all over the Southwest and Baja. Most of us drive semi-far to get to these awesome locations, but it's worth it. We have a schedule posted on our website (check the description of this video). You can also sign up to be a member for the year, which has it's own perks. But, we're most active on Facebook and Instagram, when it comes to sharing event details. Hope to have you as a member and see you on some events!!
Looks amazing! Do you camp or stay in a hotel?
We stay at hotels on all of our trips. Generally, it's just easier, planning wise in terms of food for the group, organization, and we don't have to carry camping gear, etc. We've floated the idea of a camping trip in years past, but it hasn't gained much traction. We generally try to find really cool and unique hotels to stay at when we go. In Lakeview, we stayed at the Neon Cowboy, which was awesome!
Sick video 👍
Thanks, man! Glad you enjoyed it. 2025 memberships open today!
Awesome, so sad we missed this run! 2025!
Thanks for watching! Hope to see you at the next run!
Great video! Dam I missed out
You missed out for sure! Next time though, yes? See you in 2025!
Already got the 25 membership, hell yeah I will back again! And again next year
Freakin Sweet!!!
Nothing more fun than waiting behind 10 vehicles all day long
Great job everyone this looks like a blast!
Very nice. A question. With all those mods, has the payload capacity been changed, been increased by any significant degree? I'm considering a 2025 Raptor, likely the 37, and am wondering if there is a way to noticeably increase its payload capacity without altering the buttery smooth highway drive it is known for. Still might get it, but since I am considering doing some overlanding I wonder about the weight that might cause in the back and the impact of such. Just in learning mode right now. Thanks. And again, what a beaut. Nice job!
Thanks! I would not consider anything I've done to "increase" the payload, just to manage the existing setup with the stock payload. The setup in the back weighs about 500-600 lbs with the dual tires. The payload capacity is 1,400 lbs. The Geiser springs that are installed help hold up to 700 lbs without sagging. So, I still have only 800-900 lbs of payload remaining, but it looks/acts like I have a close-to-empty bed, even though it's weighed down with the rack, tires, jack, cooler, tools, etc. You will need springs for any type of overlanding setup. Anything with more than 300 lbs in the bed and you'll want springs, to be honest. And it's very simple to get to 300 lbs constant weight in the bed. Enjoy the truck when you get it!
Good times, what trail was the first day?
So sad to have missed that one.
*Everyone comes to Utah, No one goes to California!*
Well, that's highly untrue. We have the Mojave Desert, Death Valley, Anza Borrego, Sonora Desert, Joshua Tree, Kings Range, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Mammoth, Shasta, Trinity, Redwood State Park, and the list goes on and on lol. The majority of our events take place in/around CA. But that doesn't mean we can't appreciate cool places in other states like Utah. I'd invite you on a run with us to come check it out, but it sounds like you wouldn't be interested unfortunately. Hit us up if that changes and you have a Raptor!
The best kept secret in CA is how much of the state is public land. Around 52% of CA is public land, including Death Valley NP that is the largest in the lower 48. Once you include open space land or deeded public access, this grows to around 60% of CA being publicly accessible. CA clocks in with 10M more acres than UT for public lands. All that space covers a wide range of geology too, so we get access to coastal sand dunes, redwood forests in the north, high high desert in the northeast, and multiple large warm desert areas in the south. For those of us lucky enough to live in the middle it means we can get to all this pretty easily too. Utah is a super fun destination because the geology around Moab is very unique, though I would say its a bit crowded at times during peak seasons vs more remote areas of NV, OR and CA.
Can't forget Glamis and Oceano Dunes. Headed there for the week of New Years.
Awesome!
ASMR of a NORCAL/SOCAL Raptor Run = lots of heavy breathing lol
Hahaha, only high altitude related
was considering bringing my first gen out there but I was worried it wouldn’t make it because it’s highmileage
If it's well maintained, it shouldn't be an issue. Just keep up on oil changes, diff fluid changes, spark plugs, air filters, shock rebuild, check your hubs and LCAs/UCAs, leaf spring bolts and you should be good! If you're around BajaHQ, they do "race preps" like that all the time.
@ I’ll get it dialed in with BajaHQ
✅
Beautiful truck man, so functional and tastefully done
Thanks man! Thats was the whole goal! It does so well!
Does anyone know if you can run 23’ Raptor 37’s on a 35 package without any modifications.
Yeah it may just rub a touch
Yes. No rub.
Gotta sell it before that R comes in huh??!
Yep! No sense in having two built Raptors! Lol
I’ve owned 3 Raptors & although I loved each of the my current R is just WOW
@@duncanmarriott2052 maybe some day I’ll get there! But for now I just have too many expensive hobbies to justify an R… one day. 🤘🏼
That rack is legit Chad!
Thanks man! It was a while in the making!
Very Nice !
Thanks!
Glad you had a legendary time despite the state of California.
Hey are you guys coming back in October for full size invasion??
We are not. Next time we'll be there as a full group again will be June/July of 2025! But we do have Moab and Oregon upcoming!
The winds always an issue there in Pismo. Would’ve like to see more running. Seems more like a picnic and just the one jump. Would like to join the video doesn’t show much off-roading though
Correct, this event is mostly about hanging out, relaxing, checking out the trucks, tacos, raffle prizes, etc. We go to truck hill as a group, as well as go much deeper into the dunes as a group. But, if you don’t want to do just those two things, you’re more than welcome to choose your own adventure all day long and just show up for some tacos and raffle prizes at the end. Our schedule is just meant to be a “general guideline” for the day and it provides some structure. We make it abundantly clear at the drivers meeting that everyone is more than welcome to do as they wish at any point though. We just offer some type of schedule if people just want the group atmosphere.
50 raptors we have 4 more raptors how we can join two 2022 and one Raptor R and one more coming this month
Check out our Instagram and Facebook groups, and look at our schedule we post on our website!
Hell yeah! Thank you so much SoCal/NorCal Raptor Runs for hosting this event! #send #it

Awesome! Great time. Great event. Great people. Thanks for putting this together!
Thank you for attending Mike! See you in Moab in a couple weeks!
Definitely want to check that box someday👍
What kind of things to look out for before a run on the raptor. I have my 2019 and I just started off-roading just not sure what to look for ?
CANT WAIT TO MAKE IT OUT TO THE NEXT ONE !
Thanks!! Next one is the 5th Annual Beach run! July 27th! Sign up via our Facebook groups, or Instagram!
Solid work boys!!
Thanks brother!
Chad stripped his truck down?!
No decals, no chase rack for this one! Looks a lot different huh?!
I’d love to join you guys! Sounds and looks like an amazing time and vacation. Would there be anyway to get info on it?? We have a 2020 raptor and would love to do something like this!
so dope , whats the cost to join one of these runs?
Thanks! It really depends per event, number of days, locations we travel to, etc. We are on the more cost effective side of things for our Baja events. But regular 4-6 day events range from $3,500-6,000+. That is per truck. And it’s generally all inclusive (all food, all lodging per day, all drinks post event days, shirts, decals, chase trucks and mechanics, medical support/staff who travel with us, videographers, etc). At least that’s how we run ours! Our stateside runs are MUCH more cost friendly than an all-inclusive 5-6 day Baja run. Check out our Facebook groups and website for more info!
This dude can barely speak, why is he even narrating?
