In the context of the games, these calls for defending homes and protecting children are accompanied by tales of how Faith was manipulated by Joseph Seed as a teenager and the cult literally murdering innocent civilians, burning down homes, etc.
Taken out of context, as an actual song that represents views people hold, sure, it’s got an innocent and to some, sensible message. But when you put it into context of the games, it’s meant to build juxtaposition, like all of the Eden’s Gate songs. You hear them singing about self-defense, preserving their home, etc. all happily while murdering people aimlessly and destroying other peoples’ homes.
