Killing AXIS in the Genocide route doesn't actually give you enough EXP to get to LV 19, it actually just bypasses you EXP to set your LV to 19, then gives you 200 EXP afterwards. Killing Zenith Martlet works the same way, setting your LV to 20 but only actually giving you 200 EXP, so if you complete the genocide route you're able to get an extra 200 EXP.
@XenosHornet15 that's actually not possible, when I said I checked, I used undertale mod tool to check how much exp macro froggit would get on kill, and it was 1(probably some copied code from micro froggit) when I checked, so even if you killed macro froggit it would only give 1
@XenosHornet15 fair enough, and that is still possible as yellow has a much different way of coding its fights so it took me a minute to find said exp, but I checked another monster to double check and found that dunebud has its correct value of 57 exp in the same place, so atleast to my knowledge of the code, 1 is the correct answer
Fun fact the lowest lv that you can get to the genocide bosses are lv3 with dalv (24hp) lv6 with martlet(36hp) lv9 with ceroba(48hp) Also i find that when you level up by killing only one monster in a dooble encounter and after running the encounter without killing the second monster your lv will increase but your max hp won't increase.

Other than that, I actually think I know of something that lets you get a very tiny bit more EXP that I did in my own run but you didn't mention here-or at least I didn't see you mention this, I might just be missing the part where you said it. When a new enemy is encountered for the first time and added to the encounter pool, it's through a forced encounter that is programmed to happen when within range of the trigger, even if that room's kill count had already been exceeded prior to triggering the encounter. Meaning in rooms with these forced "new enemy encounters", you can kill one additional monster than normally possible. Let's use Bowll's encounter in the mines as an example, if you stay on the far left side of the room and exhaust the kill count before walking into the trigger on the bridge(?), the game will still force you to fight Bowll in that room despite being at 4/3 kills, letting you get a fifth. However, this doesn't really come up often. As far as I know, this can only be done efficiently in the rooms you encounter Cactony and Bowll for the first time in, as you need to hit all the forced encounter triggers in Snowdin to reach Trihecta, and Sir Slither's encounter trigger seems to be too close to the room's entrance to move far enough away to grind encounters (these forced encounters seem to have a zone around them that prevent you from entering encounters when close enough, the devs probably didn't want us to break the game and somehow enter two encounters simultaneously). Of course, this is also possible in Steamworks but considering those machines give 0 EXP, it doesn't really matter for this run. So yeah, a very small amount of extra EXP, but EXP nonetheless. If there is someone who knows more about these forced encounters than me and would like to correct anything wrong I said, please do as I would love to understand more about how this game works.

If you ever hit this up for TS!Underswap's second demo, have some advice: The picking on Loox method works in Ruined Home. Three times to max out at 22 XP per kill. There's also a double Loox encounter you can do for the 19/20th kill. However you don't want to do Ruthless because that means less encounters in The Starlight Iles. You want to spare The Ruined Knights in order to stay on the Neutral Route and kill Asgore. They give less XP than picked-on Loox and they do, in fact, count towards the kill counter. The second room of every puzzle gauntlet at the beginning can spawn Loox as well as the only rooms with the double Loox encounter. So you do two rooms and finish them off with four kills via the last one being double Loox. Kill two loox in the last one for now to end at 10 kills. Save the double for last. The pirate puzzle room can spawn Loox for three more kills. You spare The Ruined Knights and the room after has the last of the Loox encounters. Ending it at 16/20. You then kill three Syrose/Vegetoid. They give the same 6 XP. Then go back to the remaining early puzzle room and get that double Loox to end it off at 21/20. Because you spared The Ruined Night, you won't enter The Evacuation Route. Kill Asgore and Ruined Home is done. My knowledge about the Neutral Route Starlight Iles is more limited. I know max XP for Ruthless but not neutral. I don't even know the Neutral kill counter. I do know that Woodwork gives more XP than Mordax and they appear in all the same areas. Sunbrock, Sub-Doggo, Dogi, Greater Dog, and Beenard all give more XP than Woodwork. Don't know about Lesser Dog, though. Can't kill Muffet on Neutral. Nor can you get the XP you'd get from "Killing" Crossbones on Ruthless. No Larry and Harry, either. But I think the higher Neutral kill count makes up for that. Emphasis on "I Think". Dunno if you ever plan on even doing this. But the smaller amount of comments on this video currently makes me think there's a chance you may see this and it may help you if you ever do a video on it.
The Evacuation Route has the same kill count as Ruthless in The Starlight Iles. That's why you spare The Ruined Knights. The game directly checks if they're dead before it triggers Ruthless. Sparing them lets you exhaust the kill counter without entering Ruthless. Since Asgore doesn't call Papyrus to start evacuations, you can kill him with no worries.
I made a guide on this on the subreddit if you're curious. Links don't work on youtube comments, but searching "max exp" should help you find it there. There's one interesting thing about max exp in that fan game, Evacuation gives the most exp if you only play on the current update (which I detailed in my guide) but Ruthless actually gives the most if you update after exhausting Ruined Home's kill counter according to a comment on my post. Basically you kill 21 Loox before The Ruined Knights in 1.0, update the game, kill the Ruined Knights and than continue as normal. I didn't kill one of the Mordax so I messed up max exp when trying that, but according to a comment it's LV 10 1699 exp compared to evac's 1226. Also Lesser Dog gives 18 exp, less than Woodwork's 22, and counts to the kill count so he should be spared/fled from
@@usermcskull4713 it's actually more complicated than that. yes, you CAN get level 10 currently in TS!Underswap, but there's a bunch of steps and it's best done on ruthless/geno, neutral and evac neutral push you at most to level 9 or very early level 10(i've never tried it and i am too lazy to do it) 1. reverse to version 1.0(might need to delete all data like i did) 2. exhaust the kill counter before the ruined knights (make sure to only kill loox with triple pick on and when you reach 19/20 kills to finish the counter with double loox, the rooms with the second puzzle before the 6 levers puzzle all can spawn double loox) after this step you should be level 7 with 21 kills(all loox) 3. kill the ruined knights since with the kill counter exhausted they don't matter 4. defeat mettalot(yes name changed apparently) as normal 5. kill asgore after this step you should be level 8 6. update back to version 2.0 7. kill the overworld woodwork (optional: get the dented pan) 8. kill only woodwork and exhaust the local kill counter in both available rooms before the harry and larry cutscene. 9. Kill Doggo, Woodwork and Mordax(all three of them) after this step you should be level 9 10. kill beenard 11. kill sunbrock, woodwork and mordax 12. finish the last three kills of the kill counter so that dogamy and dogaressa DON'T count in the kill counter(be careful to calculate the exp you'll need to reach level 10 as i got 2 woodworks and a mordax and still got level 10 in the end) 13. kill dogamy and dogaressa (optional but basically a must for muffet and harry and larry: get the torn apron) 14. kill muffet 15. kill harry and larry if you did everything right after step 15 you should be level 10 16. defeat sans to get 1699 exp and that's how you can get level 10 and 1 exp before level 11 in TS!Underswap without fail
So, i've once more returned, and i ended up doing a very violent evacuation neutral that DIDN'T get me level 10(to be fair after over 4 hours of doing this run i just called quits and didn't farm for the maximum possible amount of Looxes in ruined home, killed lesser dog and started attacking Mordaxes, which did also set me back on getting the max exp possible) Ruined home is pretty much the same, but Ruined Knights are spared to not set Ruthless active in Ruined home, from there just kill as many looxes as possible(in my run i think i got 19 looxes with 1 migosp and 1 syrose), then Asgore. in Starlight Isles Sunbrock and his posse, Beenard, Doggo, the Dogi and Greater dog are all a must, then keep targetting woodworks(since Dogi can't be saved for after the kill counter like in ruthless + even if it were possible greater dog would become inaccessible). Theoretically it is possible to get level 10 and i will try it again sometime in the future, but for now i called quits, if you see an edit in this comment in the future it means i did try again and report on the results. Also, it most likely IS possible to get the same results by killing 21 looxes in version 1 and then just sparing the ruined knights, but i'm not deleting my data OR my genocide file again for the sake of science, so on my next run i'll try to just get 21 looxes from the available rooms in ruined home(theoretically there are enough rooms, but in one of them RNG refuses to cooperate with me) Edit: I've just done it again: 21 Looxes(462) + Asgore(150) = 612 exp in Ruined Home. Doggo(30) + Dogamy and Dogaressa(60) + Sunbrock(35) + Beenard(35) + Greater Dog(80) + about 16(?) Woodworks(308) + Ruined Home(612) = 1204 exp. BARELY above LV10 and still less than Ruthless WITHOUT Sans (and no, reverting to version 1 to kill the Ruined Knights sets you on Ruthless in Ruined Home) Ruthless: 21 Looxes(462) + Asgore (150) + Ruined Knights(18) = 630 exp for Ruined Home. Beenard(35) + Doggo(30) + Sunbrock(35) + 2 Mordaxes(34) + 11 Woodworks(242) + Dogamy and Dogaressa(60) + Muffet(75) + Harry and Larry(70) + Ruined home(630) = 1211 exp in ruthless Starlight Isles BEFORE Sans! and with Sans automatic 1699 exp. As you can see, Sans or no Sans, ruthless has more exp than Starlight Isles initiated Evac Neutral (no, not killing the Mordaxes present with Doggo and Sunbrock makes Dogamy and Dogaressa part of the kill counter, they must be killed for Dogamy and Dogaressa to become extra exp)
Glad to see that you're continuing the EXP series with fangames! I hope you also do a weakest genocide video for this game. If I got everything correct, this would be the route: Kill 20 Fliers for 2 EXP each, for a total of 40 EXP. This has to be done before the Decibat fight so that you do not encounter him, like how you said in the video. Kill Dalv for 120 EXP, for a grand total of 160 EXP for the Ruins. For Snowdin, seperate Trihecta's into Tri's, Hecs and Ta's. Since each of them counts as a kill, they give the lowest amount of EXP out of any enemy in the area. Kill 20 of them for 9 EXP each, for a total of 180 EXP. There is no additional EXP from Snowdin, so combined with the Ruins the grand total is now 340 EXP. In the Dunes, kill 20 Sir Slithers or Cactony's for 46 EXP each, for a total of 920 EXP. This has to be done before the El Bailidor fight so that you do not encounter him, like how you said in the video. After killing Ceroba, you gain 1500 EXP, so the grand total of EXP is now 2760 EXP. And that's the highest it goes before the Axis fight, since it's impossible to gain any more EXP after this. Axis sets your LV to 19 and Zenith Martlet sets your LV to 20 and that concludes the genocide run and the route.
I did all five endings in a day to be able to watch this spoiler free (some save editing shenanigans to get past the bosses well beyond my skill level occured)
Not using silver ammo is a crime for me, on lvl 13 it's BETTER than petals and I wanted to see what is the highest damage input on them, but still good vid!
Fun fact: unlike Mettaton NEO, Genocide Axis doesn't actually set your EXP to the default EXP required to be LV19 Instead, Genocide Axis DECREASES the amount of EXP required to be LV19
One thing I always wondered was “why does starlo give no exp in the genocide route?” I only needed like 15 exp to get level 11 and I got NOTHING after clover gunned him down
My theory is that the dust is the exp in pacifist you don't get any exp by killing ceroba like how starlo says her dust flew away, and this also goes for genocide starlo dust just flies away
Here's a low exp genocide run: Dark ruins: kill 20 fliers for 2 exp each. Make sure you kill them before reaching decibat (since they leave if your kill counter is exhausted). You can actually spare Dalv in a genocide run. Your face will change back to normal but snowdin will still have it's 20 kill limit so as long as you kill 20 monsters before fighting Martlet you'll be put back on genocide Snowdin: entering snowdin at lvl 3 with 40 exp, we will be grinding trihecta, as explained in the video when you push trihecta they turn into 3 enemies that give 9 exp each. Do this 6 times (you will be at lvl 6 with 202 exp) find one more trihecta and only kill 2/3 and flee for your 20 kills, your face will turn back to genocide face and you will fight Martlet at lvl 6 with 220 exp. (You can get the sliver scarf if you do the quest before you exhaust your kill count) Dunes: kill 20 Sir slither or cactony (they both give 46 exp. The lowest exp in the area) Make sure you kill them before reaching El bailidor. Kill ceroba to get 1500 exp and end the dunes at lvl 12 with 2640 exp. Go to steamWorks and abort the route to kill axis for only 200 exp and you will end it with 2840 exp at lvl 12.
I don't rlly want to talk about low lvl neutral but you end the run at lvl 12 with 2415 if you do the same thing in his video but with the monsters I said.
@@dylanzlol7293 that's why I'm not really talking about it. Since you can just kill one thing and be on neutral. But I just did the math if someone were to do the same thing done in the video but with the least amount of exp
@@ultranathan992 I mean, the lowest EXP to fall on the Neutral end is just killing any encounter in Steamworks (they're all 0 EXP, minus Axis). Wouldn't be a very entertaining video though.
TS Underswap falls into a difficult category. You see, the true highest exp possible can only be obtained by doing ruined home in version 1 and then updating to version 2(to remove the 3 kills per room cap to farm 21 looxes like in og undertale, along with the Ruined Knights and Asgore) from there to get the max exp you need to kill within the kill counter Doggo, Sunbrock, Beenard, 2 Mordaxes and 11 Woodworks. I know Mordax is the lowest yeilding monster but it's crucial both Mordaxes from the Doggo and Sunbrock encounters are killed as the counter is exhausted, making Dogamy and Dogaressa extra exp like Muffet and Harry and Larry. After Harry and Larry are killed you should be just above 1200 exp and LV10. Sans still sets you 1 exp before LV11 though A max exp run on just version 2 doesn't wield level 10, i've tried many times and even did evacuation neutral, on both evacuation neutral and geno i end up with 1152 exp by the end, making ruined home version 1 ruthelss and then starlight isles the option with the most exp to yield
God the UT and Deltarune fanbases are really dying for actual joke material. Edit: BTW I did the Dark Ruins High exp route and Spared Dalv so I could grab the silver scarf then did a High exp Snowdin this gets you back on Geno.
I died 4 times to geno Ceroba, and from my first try i made it to phase 2. And geno Ceroba was an issue because i got trash luck and only killed Sir slither and Cactony so i fought her at level 10, missing out on extra defense and damage. Zenith Martlet was the problem for me, she killed me 15 TIMES, 3 on phase 1 and the rest on phase 2
The only section where you can get extra experience is in section 1 with the looxs, if you bother them 4 times you will get 11 exp and they usually give you 3 exp.
A disappointing conclusion honestly cause you're not any stronger than normal against Ceroba. Also level 13 can't one shot the robots in the steamworks either. I kinda wanna see a fangame where the final enemy doesn't set you to level 19 so the max exp actually matters
@@mastermewtwo5503 using some file editing to increase the kill counter in Dark Ruins, Snowdin and Dunes + forcefully chaging route to pacifist/neutral after kiling ceroba to get starlo's exp, i can confirm that level 14 IS coded in, levels 15-18 though i haven't done, might check is they're functional soon
@@dylanzlol7293 from the looks of it they initially planned to make hotland a proper area in the game but decided against it later on. but given that it IS hotland, Vulkin, Tsunderplane and Pyrope would be fought here

11. kill sunbrock, woodwork and mordax
12. finish the last three kills of the kill counter so that dogamy and dogaressa DON'T count in the kill counter(be careful to calculate the exp you'll need to reach level 10 as i got 2 woodworks and a mordax and still got level 10 in the end)
13. kill dogamy and dogaressa
(optional but basically a must for muffet and harry and larry: get the torn apron)
14. kill muffet
15. kill harry and larry
if you did everything right after step 15 you should be level 10
16. defeat sans to get 1699 exp
and that's how you can get level 10 and 1 exp before level 11 in TS!Underswap without fail
So, i've once more returned, and i ended up doing a very violent evacuation neutral that DIDN'T get me level 10(to be fair after over 4 hours of doing this run i just called quits and didn't farm for the maximum possible amount of Looxes in ruined home, killed lesser dog and started attacking Mordaxes, which did also set me back on getting the max exp possible)
Ruined home is pretty much the same, but Ruined Knights are spared to not set Ruthless active in Ruined home, from there just kill as many looxes as possible(in my run i think i got 19 looxes with 1 migosp and 1 syrose), then Asgore. in Starlight Isles Sunbrock and his posse, Beenard, Doggo, the Dogi and Greater dog are all a must, then keep targetting woodworks(since Dogi can't be saved for after the kill counter like in ruthless + even if it were possible greater dog would become inaccessible). Theoretically it is possible to get level 10 and i will try it again sometime in the future, but for now i called quits, if you see an edit in this comment in the future it means i did try again and report on the results. Also, it most likely IS possible to get the same results by killing 21 looxes in version 1 and then just sparing the ruined knights, but i'm not deleting my data OR my genocide file again for the sake of science, so on my next run i'll try to just get 21 looxes from the available rooms in ruined home(theoretically there are enough rooms, but in one of them RNG refuses to cooperate with me)
Edit: I've just done it again: 21 Looxes(462) + Asgore(150) = 612 exp in Ruined Home. Doggo(30) + Dogamy and Dogaressa(60) + Sunbrock(35) + Beenard(35) + Greater Dog(80) + about 16(?) Woodworks(308) + Ruined Home(612) = 1204 exp. BARELY above LV10 and still less than Ruthless WITHOUT Sans (and no, reverting to version 1 to kill the Ruined Knights sets you on Ruthless in Ruined Home)
Ruthless: 21 Looxes(462) + Asgore (150) + Ruined Knights(18) = 630 exp for Ruined Home.
The final EXP count is 3160 because each of them award 200 EXP, but they set your LV to 19 and 20 separately from the EXP requirements.
As far as I know Dalv is acually sparable in geno. (I think you have to do extra killing if u do so might not even matter)
I did all five endings in a day to be able to watch this spoiler free (some save editing shenanigans to get past the bosses well beyond my skill level occured)
0:08 everyone knows the red soul isnt DT but hey sure.
Not using silver ammo is a crime for me, on lvl 13 it's BETTER than petals and I wanted to see what is the highest damage input on them, but still good vid!
Inst it like 11.5 / i use silver ammo a lot
Fun fact: unlike Mettaton NEO, Genocide Axis doesn't actually set your EXP to the default EXP required to be LV19
Instead, Genocide Axis DECREASES the amount of EXP required to be LV19
You don't need as many Execution Points when you've got pure rage to fill in the gap!
Clover... I remember you're jaundicides.
Fun fact: Genocide axis gives you 200 exp regardless and doesn't increase your exp, just your love
@7:38-.-It might be data mining?
Here's a low exp genocide run:
Dark ruins: kill 20 fliers for 2 exp each. Make sure you kill them before reaching decibat (since they leave if your kill counter is exhausted). You can actually spare Dalv in a genocide run. Your face will change back to normal but snowdin will still have it's 20 kill limit so as long as you kill 20 monsters before fighting Martlet you'll be put back on genocide
Snowdin: entering snowdin at lvl 3 with 40 exp, we will be grinding trihecta, as explained in the video when you push trihecta they turn into 3 enemies that give 9 exp each. Do this 6 times (you will be at lvl 6 with 202 exp) find one more trihecta and only kill 2/3 and flee for your 20 kills, your face will turn back to genocide face and you will fight Martlet at lvl 6 with 220 exp. (You can get the sliver scarf if you do the quest before you exhaust your kill count)
Dunes: kill 20 Sir slither or cactony (they both give 46 exp.
@@ultranathan992if its a low exp neutral run, cant you simply not kill anybody?
@@dylanzlol7293 that's why I'm not really talking about it. Since you can just kill one thing and be on neutral. But I just did the math if someone were to do the same thing done in the video but with the least amount of exp
@@ultranathan992 I mean, the lowest EXP to fall on the Neutral end is just killing any encounter in Steamworks (they're all 0 EXP, minus Axis). Wouldn't be a very entertaining video though.
Ceroba the cerobing at level 9 real
Give us a weakest geno run for UTY please!
Btw you can use a save editor to get the toy knife which always does infinite damage, so maybe that’s where they got the 5 xp from for macro froggit
Knowing this a nuteral run can be worse then geno sense you can kill more people
Now do ts underswap
egg
Yes
Sans still sets you 1 exp before LV11 though
A max exp run on just version 2 doesn't wield level 10, i've tried many times and even did evacuation neutral, on both evacuation neutral and geno i end up with 1152 exp by the end, making ruined home version 1 ruthelss and then starlight isles the option with the most exp to yield
No way Undertale yellow has been out for 5 months, it feels like only a week
caffeine overdose. S P E E D
actually the level set doesn't effect your exp for some reason so doing genocide is the best option cuz martlet gives 200 exp
I am dumb I didn't see the second half of the video
Very cool vid. I’ve been wondering the answer to this but I’m too lazy to play UT yellow again 😭
nice video and sorry for the long break lol
God the UT and Deltarune fanbases are really dying for actual joke material.
Edit: BTW I did the Dark Ruins High exp route and Spared Dalv so I could grab the silver scarf then did a High exp Snowdin this gets you back on Geno.
oh boy cant wait for lowest EXP in Undertale Yellow :)
level 1 on pacifi-
i literally fleed from every dunebud bc they were too cute to kill
Thanks for a great video, question: Is this like a side job for you or your main job? And is it fun
Hoping to be able to make it a job soon, but right now it’s just a dope hobby
Edit: oh and also yes it is very fun
@@awesomeandrewgames Oh alright!
Yo, can i suggest a theory video idea to u (in discord or somethin') ?
Absolutely! You can dm me or send it in general either one works
Clover I am jaundice
No me
3:05 hey, that’s the same max level for Undyne the undying
That's the average level. Level 13 is the maximum to fight Undyne.
Idk why people say Ceroba genocide is hard I beat her on my 3rd try
Once because I was going in blind
And 2 more times in phase 2
😢 it took me a lot longer lol
I died 4 times to geno Ceroba, and from my first try i made it to phase 2. And geno Ceroba was an issue because i got trash luck and only killed Sir slither and Cactony so i fought her at level 10, missing out on extra defense and damage. Zenith Martlet was the problem for me, she killed me 15 TIMES, 3 on phase 1 and the rest on phase 2
egg 👍
You win!
*E G G*
What about the highest exp possible in deltatraveler (as of section 3)
The only section where you can get extra experience is in section 1 with the looxs, if you bother them 4 times you will get 11 exp and they usually give you 3 exp.
A disappointing conclusion honestly cause you're not any stronger than normal against Ceroba. Also level 13 can't one shot the robots in the steamworks either. I kinda wanna see a fangame where the final enemy doesn't set you to level 19 so the max exp actually matters
That would be nice
TS Underswap could do that
You should do the weakest genocide run in this game
lets GOOOOOO!!!
You can kill martlet but it crashes
Yeah I'd try that👍
401 Likes for the vid so far. 20 Times the Absolute LV, + 1
Egg
juandice
7:04 Its a joke mission
I haven’t watched the video but I did it myself but I’m gonna guess 3949 cause that’s the number I got in my genocide run.
Damn, I was wrong, R.I.P it was 4132….. so sad actually crying.
Delta rune highest XP video?
Huh. Its weird... I got to lv 13 after killing ceroba
What yo gun sound like?
Makes me wonder if LV14-18 are even coded in...
Worse than Undertale's LV 18 being absent. Yellow's highest level is 13, then Axis in Genocide just makes Clover so pissed they get stronger.
@@mastermewtwo5503 nah, in Undertale Neutral(Aborted Genocide version) we can get LV 19
peak
isn't the highest EXP still capped at 99,999, or does the game not set it to 99,999 if you get more than 99,999 EXP?
I saw a video once where someone got more exp. They were set to level 21 and the exp went into the negatives
@@andreaslefteri3661 yeah thats the EXP to level up, not the EXP they have since LV 21 makes you "LV up" every time you kill an enemy.
Kinda underwhelming tbh thought that UTY's geno route would've been longer. But no
Fun fact: there is code for a kill count on hotland even through there's no enemies to fight there
@@dylanzlol7293 from the looks of it they initially planned to make hotland a proper area in the game but decided against it later on. but given that it IS hotland, Vulkin, Tsunderplane and Pyrope would be fought here
egggaster (yellow)
Human, i remember ur juandicides
Edit: i though i was sub but i wasnt... for some reason so ummm get subbed
now do weakest genocide
nice
what's the weakest?
Now ts swap?
the max exp is 2 trust me
like for egg
It's interesting to see how easily you killed Ceroba, whose genocide fight imo is a poorly executed cluster, while having a hard time with Undyne the Undying, who I can usually no hit or no heal and has a clean, mechanically simple fight.
Have you tried Undertale red and yellow yet? For some reason, most items you can get before undyne the undying give a maximum of 3 attack and 2 defence, and she does like 10 damage on your first time taking damage, then she does like 35. It's busted as hell
Hello
Oh Come on I suggested this first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We dont need the chapter 3 😬
Huh
