      I agree, bro. If he's even 3/4's of what Donald was, we're in damned good shape on the D-Line.

    MacDonald firing ALL last years starting linebackers, is a statement. His pick, LB Knight, might be the ILB we've needed for over 2 years. Fingers crossed.

    I don't see how he could be a good player for us. 90% of draft "experts" think he was a major reach and a lot didn't like the pick at all.

    • @charlesd6060

      No such thing as overdrafting. Draft value is based on who is making the pick and their value of the player. They valued him enough to pick him where they picked him to the point where that players value to the team was higher than the other players that were available. How other teams value the same player is irrelevant and that value to another team will differ based on the way they value players.

    • @donmcknight5273
      @donmcknight5273 Месяц назад

      not true. You absolutely can overdraft someone. If they picked The guard we got in the 3rd round was their first round would that not be an overdraft? There is a value on these selections. I do t have an issue with 3rd round or below as the chance really hitting is not in your favor. I hope he excels and he may not have been an overdraft but based on most reactions throughout the league. But it only takes 1 team to love em and apparently that is the case here. The truth will be revealed in the next 4 years.

    What I've heard is he can't cover well. Both free agent LB'ers we signed are good cover guys. Both safeties, too. So for MacDaddy to want him tells me he feels he can kearn to cover, and unquestionably he can make tackles. He will be a stud on Special Teams. A tackle machine. His tape is impressive.

      Seemed to me the Seahawks draft overall was the least hyped, of all the teams, which happens when you don't draft any offensive skill positions. I am curious, however, if they are high on Knight how he will be used.

      @@ksoonsoon that's the consensus from the mock draft crowd. I'm cautiously optimistic. We picked him despite other options & MikeMac is a LB guru. It's been noticed that after the pick PHILLY traded out of their spot 2 slots down.
      Day 3 is where you draft for upside, if the new staff sees Knight as a ball of clay they can mold into a solid MLB over time I'm down. We got a history there (KJ 4th, Sherm 5th, BamBam 5th ext. They all took about a year to develop)
