I don’t know if you know this but Bratz had a character that was a parody of Paris Hilton on their show. her name was London Milton I actually really liked her design and I wish we would’ve got a doll of her… but this rainbow high Paris Hilton doll is super cute
I have to admit I know nothing about Paris Hilton as someone who’s 18 going on 19 and not very well versed in pop culture. That being said, the doll is very fun and beautiful and your review is amazing as always. I don’t usually listen to any kind of rant by influencers but I can’t help but listen to every word you say! This is what I don't really get - Paris hasn't really been popular since you were a toddler. Why is she a part of this doll line?

@@percyperanamus7432 I thought I’d heard about something like that…I don’t support celebrities anyways but I think it’s more of the image of her than her as a person that people like. Nobody knows what she’s like when she’s not on camera anyways.

Thanks for telling everyone about Paris’ influence in starting the influencer culture. I love it when you bring a historical perspective to the doll culture; because what young Americans need very badly is a historical perspective on just about everything! It seems that history is not taught in schools anymore.

Since my Mom moved into my state, I've been slowly letting her into my doll collecting hobby and now she's buying me RH dolls for christmas lol! I can't believe 2022 had PC High! I can totally see Paris being the first “influencer”. She also made a well known name to herself as her grandfather cut her from his riches and didn’t leave anything for her from his passing. Paris is a very smart woman and has grown to be popular again with the return of early 2000’s aesthetic.

I really like Paris Hilton and I think people miss judge her. She did some questionable things in her younger years, we all make bad choices but when you are in the medias eye these things becomes fodder for the masses. She has really grown and become her own person. ❤

I love this doll and had her shipped here, but I just couldn't see keeping her for $100. So, unfortunately, I had to return her. Maybe they will put them on sale. Here's to "hoping."

Melissa, you are NOT a prude. You are a mother who has a healthy respect for the privacy and boundaries of your child. I worry for a lot of children who are on reality tv shows. Their parents have lost control of being able to allow their children to step out of the spotlight like your child was able to do. Not a prude, just a great mom who cares more for her child than money
Unfortunately a lot of the parents do have the control and make the decision to continue doing it anyways. Kris doesn’t have any personal connection with her kids in a healthy way from what I can tell, so they live and breathe the dumb rich girl attitude.
@@vampyrekyng_lex I only watched one episode (or maybe it was two) and Kris found some nudes of Kim, made it into a calendar and it was selling around LA. Kim was supposedly horrified as they were supposed to be a private gift for her boyfriend at the time. Whether it was real or scripted, (I think scripted as I know a bit of what it would take to do a calendar for sale), I thought it was disrespectful to Kim and her privacy. Another scene I saw, Kourtney and Khloe went to hear their stepdad do an inspiration speech and made fun of him while on the front row. Grown women acting like toddlers. It just was not garnering any respect from me for them. I just felt pity for Kim and Bruce/Caitlin (not sure of the etiquette of which to use for that time period)

Oh God, if they ditch the second outfits they'd better drop the price like hell, because it's hardly worth buying them WITH the second outfits at this point. (I'm referencing Canadian prices here, I know they're quite a bit cheaper in the states). I mean, I'm still seeing pacific coast at full price up here, and they don't seem to be selling. I even saw some series 2 dolls yesterday, not marked down. Regular ones are over $40 here, it's kinda cringe. Sorry, I'm kinda complaining over here. . .

I love her so much but I already know she will be really expensive when released in Europe. Probably close to $200. I was a teen during the Paris Hilton era and I was a big fan of her. I'm still a fan just not as much as I was as a teen. She is the reason I discovered and fell in love with chihuahuas. I wish MGA had given the doll a pink jumpsuit, the iconic shades and a chihuahua. But maybe thats bc that is the way I remember her most.

Hello! I don’t think this doll will be sold in Europe. Paris Hilton has a VERY VERY VERY bad image in Europe.
I have seen her for pre sale here in Australia for $299. I won't be buying her at that.

Is she really worth 100 dollars? There is nothing special about the doll other than the doll is supposed to be a 41 year old influencer who is famous for being “famous”. Purchasers are paying for the name, not the quality of the doll. I saw another unboxing and some of the sparkly circles were falling off her dress right out of the box. The doll is cute, but cute can be had for far less money….. I added this after you spoke about the influencer culture. Did you forget she went to jail for violating her probation because of a DUI arrest? Not the best example of a person I would want to emulate. As a parent, I was pleased my daughter had no interest in her.
I also get the feeling they asked Kim Kardashian first to appear on the show but she either wanted too much money or didn't want to do it so they settled for Paris.

What is special about her is the fact she uses glass crystals on her outfit, shoes and jewelry
@@DoIIyMama And if you watch carefully, crystals and beads fall off and require re-gluing, which can be difficult and time consuming. I can’t convince myself that this doll is worth the cost. Many collectors and plain, ole’ doll lovers cannot afford the price tag. At 100 bucks, I’m looking for WOW.

Hey loved the review, however for the price I think they could have made the second outfit with better Quality, I saw another video with the bling falling off the boots as well and they could surly have the outfit go below her behind, I mean for 15 $$ more you can get a well made Ag doll.
A little bit of fabric modpodge or fabric glue will keep the rhinestones on

I do think they’re trying to do away with the second outfit and it makes me so sad! A huge part of the value of these dolls for me has been the wonderful mix and match options with all the second outfits!
