The purple stretch don’t stay from what my mother told me.. purple and red ones disappear after the skin starts going back in place, it’s the skin colored ones that hold on for dear life lol!
That is not how it works. Almost all stretch marks start out as purple/ red and over time they fade to 'skin' color. A stretch mark is basically a scar so the skin never 'goes' back. They just become less noticeable over time but the texture stays.
@@Sookielein it depends on the complexion as a dark-skinned woman I've never had red nor have I had purple stretch marks My stretch marks were actually my skin color and they have not faded over time.
@@sweetblack1216 Sorry my bad.The point I wanted to make was that stretchmarks don't disapear since they're scars. Like I said the impression her mother had might have been that the reddish/purple stretch marks faded to 'skin' color. It probably worked so quickly and effectively because they were still purple which means that they weren't permanent yet. When they turn white is when they become almost impossible to remove.

I got stretch marks when I was pregnant, and they don't bother me cos they can be covered up with clothing and even if I were to wear bathers that showed them it wouldn't bother me, but what does bother me is the extra weight after having a child which can't be covered up, and it's probably my fault cos I did eat a lot when I was pregnant, i weigh 7 kilos more than before having a baby, people that say "oh you had a baby your body is beautiful" yeah whatever, it's easy to say but harder to except and it's not the body you're used to or ever wanted. Some people accept it and that's great. I think half the stuff people say is just to try and make you feel better so they have something nice to say, they don't really mean it or believe it.

You can do microneedling on your own. Just keep your device clean and the area you're working on clean and moisturized. There's videos on how to do it
Mine were black with a 10 lb baby…I used ‘Palmers Cocoa Butter for Stretch Marks’ for a minute and it toned it well. When it came to baby two they didn’t really come back.
i did at home microneedling. it worked!
Which serum did you use
@@ArinzeChisom-pn6co I used hyaluronic acid then vitamin c
As in prevented or cured them?
@@jeanbb3283 erased them
@@gossipandgrigio7200di it get rid of it completely
I freaking love her
Thanks! Procedures are the solution a lot of the time. All of these advertised oils and body butters for stretch marks, they might work I’m not sure but I’ve heard it’s not a one size fits all. Everyone is different and there are also different types of stretch marks! Regardless, everyone is beautiful just as they are!
You're a legend Kristy lol
Thank you as a 12 year old with stretch marks this helps
Thanks ❤first time ever any influencer answered my question so honestly i always think about it 💜
Or anyone who ever gained weight.. Vitamin E or Palmers cocoa butter ( the white jar) just in case if the money is tight 😊 or aloe vera plant.. either way still beautiful embrace those beautiful imperfections.. aka thunder mark strikes on the body.. love them..
Wow thank you. No one shares the truth these days! ❤
I would also love to hear how you came to the decision to… remove your stretch marks. I am trying to avoid doing so. But I’m also trying to understand why I wouldn’t get rid of them? I understand the idea of loving my body that birthed a human. However, that’s personally not a thought that is helping me deal with these insecurities
I heard someone say to think of how the decision will affect you 5 years from now. Would you be better off or worse off if you got rid of them? Depending on your answer, just make the decision and don’t look back my friend!
@@victoryhouse1446 love this idea, thank you
Soft spoken women make me drool
Would have been nice to show a before and after. Just saying… in my experience I started lathering my belly skin with oils after the shower and before bed every day THE MOMENT I found out I was pregnant… my belly didn’t grow until month 7! So for 6-7 months my skin was moisturized and nourished litterally have ABSOLUTELY NO stretchmarch from pregnancy, thank you Jesus 💕
Stretch marks are gorgeous 😌
Thank you for sharing!! ❤
Thanks for the tip. Hey wants ur akin care routine. I love how young and bright ur face tends to look
I’ve got stretch marks everywhere. On my knees around my hips etc. I started getting them in my adolescence. However, I’ve had two babies and I do not have one stretch mark on my stomach. At this point I believe that my stomach skin is made of Teflon. I have no other explanation.
All these raw butters from Africa shea , cocoa , mango butter oilve oil, coco oil IT DOES NOT WORK FOR ME AT ALL and ive been using it for YEARS and YEARS now. 😂😂 And goshhh. Strechmatks takes half of my wholeee body. All my legs. Knees, ass, top of breasts, top af arms, armpits, stummy, tighs , guys I have them everywhere. And the best, I had NO CHILD YET. Im african dark skin tone. It mist really has to do with genetics !! Cant wait to get enough money to get them removed. Thanks for your video, you give me hope !! 😊
Thank you for your honesty
Thank u for sharing I have purple stretch marks at the moment, not due to kids but just as I enter my mid twenties, I will be doing this
Lol I was expecting she’s gonna troll us 😂
You're an angel ❤
Yes I got mine the last two weeks:(
The whole time the doctor was so amazed and kept telling me how was eating well and doing great then like 11 days before all of a sudden I got like 10 of them all over the front of my stomach in front of my belly button and it’s so frustrating because nothing can remove them
I didn’t get too many stretch marks however I wanted to get rid of my belly as soon possible and I did…my belly was gone in two weeks after having my baby
I love this tea, thanks girlie! ❤

HOWEVER, I admit was waiting on another fish and chips plate to pop up! 😂
I have 4 kids the nurse asked me why my belly was so smooth and I just was obsessed with jergen’s lotion. That’s all.
I'm going to keep mine plus I'm probably 20 years too late but I LOVE how you presented this!!
Yes! I just started microneedling for stretch marks!
How did it go!?
Thank you so much!! 🙏🏽
I love you so much for your honesty hun. For this post you’ve now moved up to my sister I’ve never had 👯♀️
I also got mine the last week of pregnancy and mine were purple too. I dermaroll them at home because o can’t afford anything fancy treatment. 😢
Thank you, queen 🙏
I love you for this I've had mines 17 years lol they must go thanks love
this is exactly wat happened to me! i got them literally the last week i was so sad
I had 4 boys in 6 years. I really didn't get very many stretch marks. None on the top of my stomach, a few on the lower part. I feel very fortunate.
Stop saying stretch marks are beautiful just so that crazy percentage out there that may hate in you for even care to remove yours or find a way to have them removed ! Most women purple pink or yellow or brown stretch marks do - not - want - them !! Stretch marks are ugly ! Let’s take celebrities that we’ve seen with them over all have great skin and then nice bodies and some stretch marks - it makes you feel less alone but I’ve seen girls with NONE and it’s better that way so NO stretch marks are ugly annoying stifling all that and if we can get rid of them permanently it’s worth it !!!! ⭐️🎉
AHAAAAAAA 😂 I LOVE MY TIGER STRIPES 😂😂😂❤
Thank you ! ❤
Love the advice, thx
The color of the purple stretch marks go away over time just like the the dark brown ones but the indentations in the skin don’t,, they shrink but nonetheless wrinkly still lol. Never tried microneedling though 🤔
SO beautiful!!! 💖❤
It took me forever to realize that stretch marks are the norm. It’s constant images of photoshopped models that make us think that they are not normal. Even some of the really skinny models have them. I think Guys think it’s a feminine thing and aren’t freaked out about them in the slightest like we are. Let’s give a round of applause for the unsung hero of the animal kingdom the Zebra 👏 🦓🦓🦓
I started rubbing my belly with bio oil, shea butter and other recommendations from 6 weeks of pregnancy. Being a small frame with a big baby, I was covered in stretch marks after birth to this day- all I can say is, it must be hereditary or something a person is inclined to get. I have girl friends who rubbed nothing on their belly and did not get 1 stretch mark…. Math ain’t mathing…🤷🏽♀️
You are just same like me. Thank you so much love. I really want to know what actually works❤️❤️❤️
Mine def are not normal😭 I’m doing my own treatment cuz it’s too expensive. So I learned everything
Thank u for sharing 🙏❤
I’m kind of hesitant about doing that because I recently had to get a emergency c section in February and I’m afraid that if I do something like that it might cause some issues or be more painful
Yeah, wait like 13 months until you are at least 90% healed first
I got stretch marks with my first child, they were purple and PAINFUL! Thankfully they have lighten up over the years but gosh they hurt so bad back then.
I had purple stretch marks too!! But 2 years later and a couple different methods they r fully gone
