The line “Dear younger me, It's not your fault You were never meant to carry this beyond the cross” always gets me. It’s at this moment that I get choked up
I'd tell the younger me not to push everyone away, that it's okay to feel. That it's okay to not carry everything alone, it's okay to need help. To let people be there for you when mom dies. You're still worthy of love and happiness, even after all of the mistakes and pain you've caused.
Dear younger me,its time you realized the motions that you take will carry you to be the man everyone said youd be.dear younger me,opens your eyes ,the burden you carry wad not meant to be your grave dear younger me,look at your life, every moment is oh so precious so dont feed that grief.dear younger me,you broke the chain ,but those shackles you keep still bind you to your fate. God bless everyone and thank you god for making me who i am today
If I had to write a letter to my younger me, I would only write down this: "Your life is about you just being you. Don't let anyone tell you are any less different. You have right to the life you want to live, and you are one of a kind."
Letter to my yonger self There is going to be tears of pain There will be tears of laughter Life wont always work out how you think but trut me you will get through it in general you will be happy and living a good life.
Dear younger me_well done, well written, few songs has a real meaning to them especially anymore, dear younger me is one of the few that has a real meaning to it
I would say to younger me...Never forgot that Your Jesus will always be with you. so just breathe Him in! Love you girl. You are strong brave and beautiful...
Bart Millard (lead singer of MercyMe) is an amazing song writer. All of his songs come from his own life and struggles. He wrote I Can Only Imagine in about 10 minutes after his father died.
Great song,Thanks. Our life with God is a journey...but some of us have regrets. But I never regret my children who have different fathers... Thank God for his mercy. Yes never ment to carry this beyond the cross. Yes every moment brought me closer to Him.
I've already told my kids that, if I could do it over, I'd go through all the heartache all over again, just to make sure I got them. So I wouldn't tell my younger self much. But what I WOULD say is, "When you're 20 and living in Bellflower, NEVER EVER pick up a bicycle to flip it back on its wheels!!! It'll ruin your back and give you problems for the rest of your life! Be safe. Protect your back."
I'd tell myself, "don't rush life or relationships, the son you now have later in life, he's not just a "kid", but someone whom you love more than anything or anyone before him. Younger you, Although you've loved and "lost" you didn't lose anything in the end, you gained an amazing wife and son and stepdaughter, who is like your own. Younger you, don't blame yourself, God's always had you and always will, you're fine."
I would have told my younger me … believe in yourself and reach out for help from the people you kept at a distance (extended family) You turned out to be a source of positive energy and depth that you communicate on every video … Billy!
Gosh, what would I say to my younger self? A lot of things. That it's okay to say "no", to not let people walk all over me, to not be afraid to advocate for myself, that friends will leave but the good ones will stay, not to take things for granted,... So many things...
Red Rocks Worship "Breakthrough", this is one of the songs on one of the albums that my church as created and it is one of the most eye opening songs I've ever heard
Man so many things that I think about. Choices, behaviours, and attitudes that put me where I am in my life today. Changing a single one of them would alter my life in drastic ways. I'm sure the same could be said for many others. If I didn't get roped into "the wrong crowd" in high school, if I had planned on college instead of the army, if I had waited to marry... Kids, moving cross country... twice, family relations... so many.
To my Younger self I would have waited for the Love&Relationships..but goin forward I was molded in the Fire by All I went through..God knew what I could Stand and those Learnings was Priceless to the Woman I am🙏🙏😍😍 Love your Reaction. Peace& Blessings
RUclips recommended one of your older reaction videos recently, and I'm so glad it did! I like the few other videos I've watched, and I'm interested to check out more of your content 🙂 I'd love to see you react to Jason Gray's "Remind Me You're Here"; it's such a great song!
I think you'd love "You Love Me Anyway" by Sidewalk Prophets. Particularly the part that starts, "I am the thorn in Your crown, but You love me anyway"
I tend to think of my daughters when I hear this song! They are so much like me. I would love for them to follow God completely...to avoid many of life's pains, problems!
Dear Younger Me, Pay more attention to everything. Dont stand in the background, get up there & take a chance. Most importantly, spend more time with those you love. Tou never know when it will come to an end.
I LOVE Mercy Me so much. I've seen them live a few times, and they're AMAZING! I wouldn't change a thing though. I've been through hard times, heartache, loss, and all sorts of other things just like everyone else, and I learned from it all. Can you please react to Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold?
What would I write to myself? Just what MercyMe said, "You were never meant to carry this beyond the cross." Grace was the hardest thing for me to understand an I spent years in a suicidal depression because of my addiction to perfectionism and a constant feeling like I was embarrassing God by merely existing. I'd have told myself to give in to grace YEARS earlier and saved myself so much heartache.
I have a mental illness Billy. Ive been in and out of mental hospital many times. It was God that helped me through my trials, even though I felt distant from him. If I could say something to my younger self it would be don't give up. because in the long run God is gonna use your past to mold you into the more loving caring person you're bound to become in the future. God loves you! Billy if you would buddy please react to Chris Tomlin "Home!" that song holds such meaning in my heart. It tells me that we have a peaceful eternal life to look forward to when we depart this earth. That all the trials of our lives will be no more. God bless you Billy! i'm thankful everyday that I subscribed to your channel bro!
It's great to see you reacting to powerful messages about Christ;s love for us. Very few out there doing this. So thankful for this especially in this time when the message is so needed now. It's been good to see your reaction as a father over all and hear your thoughts on this. God has put a fathers heart in you. You don't have to do this song but I think you will love it. Casting Crowns slow fade. Sorrow and hope at the same time. Blessing to you and your family. Take care of that little girl and keep taking care of the hurting around you. You have been raised up to do this. God bless.
I love Mercy Me and I love that you are doing more of them. I would love to see you react to all types of Christian music. It would be really nice to see on Sundays. As for what I would do or say to younger me. I think I just give her a hug and say keep going its gonna be hard at times but where you end up you would never believe it in a million years so just keep going.

Dear me, I know you want to know the how and the why of everything that you went through. My precious child...not a tear is wasted in the Hands of the One that was there from the start. Yes he was was there from the start. All of those months and wasted years will come to fruition and you’ll find your purpose in this world. Yes, there is hope in this world.
I love your reaction to this song. It seems you relate to it so much. At first I thought I would tell my young self to turn to God earlier. Because I didn't become a Christian until I was 42. But, I realized I can't do that. Because it was all the abuse and struggles that finally led me to Jesus.
Love Mercy Me. You should check out Casting Crowns-Nobody, Praise you in this storm, Who am I, Glorious Day, Oh My Soul...they have too many great ones to name.
I would tell my younger self to live in the moment. They go so quickly and there are people you’ll miss some day. AND-God loves YOU. You don’t need to win His approval.
You know how I can only imagine was about his father abusing him? Well this song is about that same thing. About not carrying that burden of the abuse beyond what God has done for us.
It wasn't really about the abuse. It was more about the change within his father from that monster to a humble man of God. The power of God's love and grace. And what his father was experiencing in His kingdom. That's my take on it at least.
Oh to answer your question if I was sending a letter to my younger self I would tell myself there is a lot of things that will go wrong but it's just God helping you to understand just how much he loves you. Yes your going to have to deal with all the emotions hurts and other things but through this you will see me and help others to know love. Hang in there it's just God developing you to be who he has called you to be. Mainly loved and to show love.
Dear younger Jessica. You are enough, you are beautiful and God made you beautiful just the way he wanted you to be. God is the way the truth and the life. To whoever is reading this just know that God is always there for you and he wants you to know he loves you and you are beautiful/handsome just the way you are. YOU ARE ENOUGH!!! Remember that.
If you haven’t already please do in Christ alone by Phillips Craig and Dean. In my opinion their version is head and shoulders above anyone you could’ve ever listened to

I absolutely can relate to this song. Powerful for those that can truly understand these words in their life.
To Younger me:
You will find friends of your own. Your friends will become the support you during the hard times.
If I had to write a letter to my younger me, I would only write down this: "Your life is about you just being you. Don't let anyone tell you are any less different. You have right to the life you want to live, and you are one of a kind."
Praise You in the Storm by Casting Crowns. This helped me through the passing of my husband
