this nearby share in this video you use is not the inbuild apps from windows 11 right? you downloaded from other source right? Now nearby share for android na me is quic share?
Yes it's rebranded to Quick share. The video is for the Google nearby share app which is now quick share. Windows has the Nearby Sharing feature that is different and only works between two PCs.
Similar names cause confusion.

It is built-in. Windows has nearby sharing that is different from google nearby share.@@billacheems1765

In my case nearby share not show in mobile while it is also on in everyone mode.......please help
Im on windows 11 and have Android 14. I am able to send files from pc to Android but not tje other way round. While trying to send from Android, the PC gets discovered but doesn't sends any notification to pc for accepting. Also ther is no option of enabling notification access for nearby share on my pc. Please guide me through it.

Near by share chalu kiya, lekhin wifi on karne ke bol raha hein. I turned on wifi but still says to turn on and also saying something like connecting two devices into same network. So didn't work 😭

you have to connect both mobile and laptop to the same wifi network.

Just sign in -> Google accounts -make sure you downloaded this from Google - sign in, bs yha k bad sirf buffering hoti rhti h aage jata hi nahi eske bad khud time out bgerh aa jata h kuch der baf
Uninstall the app. Download the latest version from the site and install it. Open chrome browser window which has your gmail account sign in. After that try signing in to the nearby share app and it should redirect to the chrome browser.

I haven't checked it in Windows 10 device. Try the official site of Nearby Share app, and install the latest version.
I solved that issue by looking to the program files folder, then Google, nearby, then I clicked on an .exe file and finally I got it
My lap is and AMD Ryzen 7 windows 10, got the same issue

You have to download the app. Then double-click on the installer file. That's what he is saying.

Try this download link. You might need to disable defender or alter smart screen settings.

I have the same mediatek wifi chipset but it still not work } cant recieve files on pc
