Hello. Nice video. I'm interested to know what bit of kit/software you used to get the cycling info in white to appear on the video? It looks as if it was synched in real time throughout your cycle. The speedometer in the left corner is a very nice touch. For the cadence info, did you have some sort of sensors on your pedals? The elevation chart is nifty too. Fair play. Did you shoot the footage with a GOPRO? Regards.
You need 3 things.. 1. A bike computer to record the data (speed, distance, elevation etc.) 2. A video camera (i use a GoPro Session) 3. Garmin Virb Software to sync the data to the video. ( www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=6591 ) Yeah its pretty nifty alright and quite easy to do. The hard bit is the actual cycling! :)
Thanks for that Al. I have a Polar V650 bike computer and a GoPro. Do you think the Garmin software as per your link will do the needful or does the bike computer have to be a Garmin? Rgds, Rob.
wadirunner yes it should work fine...download the software (it's free) and give it a go. It's very easy to use and very intuitive. There also quite a few tutorials on RUclips which show you how it's done ( although I doubt you'll have any difficulty)
