I think Halo as most arena shooters will die quite fast. They will go from a huge influx of players who tries to get some of that sweet nostalgia to a small hardcore player community.
Halo Infinite deserves more hype, they've proven themselves in their beta's, open communication, etc. Halo is going to make a comeback with free-to-play. Battlefield 2042 we all hope will be good at launch but frankly I don't think we know enough, developers have been pretty silent throughout the pre-release process.

Doom proved old school shooters can recapture their magic and market it to a new audience while remaining faithful and i really hope 343 has managed this
They did it smart in 2010, BFBC2 came out in March if I recall correctly so you already got your fill of MW2 by the time it came out .then halo reach came out early September and black oops out late November. The games didn’t have to compete and it was nice for gamers.

@@metaverse6221 Tbf, Infinite doesn't seem nearly as concerned about that as 2042 or Vanguard. The simple fact that Infinite has no Battle Royale and just classic arena and BTB modes is telling enough that 343 intends for it to stand on its own two feet, not leeching off the rotting carcass of COD.
It was the best era of gaming. It was at the time the technology had finally reached a point it unlocked the developers full creativity and they could finally make their true visions a reality, but it was early enough that they hadn't gone full on corporate yet if you know what I mean
Halo infinite deserves to succeed. The developers have been really open and honest to the community and the game is so far the most fun and polished out of the three, and launch is still a couple more months away. BF 2042 so far has been a broken mess and feels more like ground war from MW with barley any maps and no singleplayer. Vanguard is the same crap as every other COD game with little innovation. Halo has made the best impression out of all of them, doesn't smell corporate and overall deserves to be a big success.

As someone who has adored the franchise for 20 years, I hope people give Halo a chance, especially younger gamers. The sandbox and moment to moment gameplay are magical, and frankly, unmatched.
Halo is definitely on top. Yep it's disappointing it's releasing without some features but i'm glad they've taken some extra time to get ready for release on PC and Xbox. Also considering the world wide pandemic I think they've done pretty well to get most features in the final game, features that other major titles don't have.
All of y’all need to stop drinking the halo Kool-aid Sure Halo has the best multiplayer of the year I’ve played but it still has it’s issues such as it’s ridiculously priced store. Idc about the battle pass, just do every weekly challenge and play at least 1 hour of halo and you’ll have completed the battle pass in about 8-12 weeks. It costs 20 fucking dollars for a fucking iron man skin wtf that is disgusting and if anyone bought into that shit they are corporate bootlickers. Also don’t get me started with the multiple hackers and exclusion of player multiplayer stats.
I'm not disappointed by Vanguard because I didn't have any expectations for it. But Battlefield? I'm disappointed because it was so easy for them to make a good game. They had it all laid out on the table. Instead of choosing the formula that has worked since BF3 they had to reinvent the wheel. Yes, I know Portal exists but it will still rely on BF2042's core elements. I swear, some people treat it like it's on a different engine. We don't know much about Portal yet so don't get your hopes up. At least Halo Infinite is good this year. I wish DICE was as transparent as 343i.

HALO! EASY! The flight was awesome and the game's multiplayer is legitimately great already. I gave up on cod close to a decade ago... There was no way to ask in the beta but it should be fixed in the final release. Your character should ask for ammo on their own but if not there should be a command wheel where you can ask for it. Unfortunately it seems that ammo takes a while to cool down after use so a player who has ammo might not be able to drop an ammo box when asked
None of them will "flop", maybe one will outsell the other but to say either of them will flop is kinda never gonna happen, COD is too big to flop, Halo Infinite has had raving positive feedback which will secure a LOT of sales and BattleField is BattleField, also too big to flop. If anything, as what usually happens, COD will outsell both, as it usually does, Halo will probably sell very well, but considering Battlefield has had a lot of criticism, I don't think it will sell as well as it could have if the BETA actually included staple BF features but will definitely not flop simply because it has heavy BF4 prior vibes.
If you ask me COD won’t be bough for it’s multiplayer but more for the campaign cause they make pretty good stories but I don’t think that many people will play that game for it’s multiplayer cause it feels the same as MW so there is no point to play it but I really like your way of thinking and your point.

The tornadoes have a very large impact overall on the gameplay dynamic of any given map, without being as intrusive as some of the levelutions were and without always showing up, so you could still have some normal matches from time to time with no tornadoes, whereas on some maps in BF4 players always triggered the levelutions, which had the effect of cheapening them rather quickly.

If so many companies make similar games, people will burn out faster and ask for a return to form for each franchise which sucks gor bf2042
Technically speaking, Battlefield has been taking things from other franchises instead of it's own series ever since BF3. But unlike BF3 and BF4, BF2042 isn't really an incredibly generic, derivative game. What I think Battlefield really needs to do is to stop trying to appeal to casuals and instead start appealing to Battlefield's actual target demographic: the series' veterans who started with Bad Company 2 or prior. Casuals don't care about the game and don't want to learn how to play. This has remained true since BF3, and it's only gotten worse over the years. We now have a playerbase in Battlefield that actively doesn't play the objective or their class/role, which makes the experiences of series' veterans like me who actually have an inkling to play the game properly rather miserable at times because of selfish "teammates". Who in their right mind plays a competitive game if they don't think actually competing is all that fun?
@@boyishdude1234 unfortunately that will never happen as the bf vets are a miniscule demographic compared to casual fans and with the budget of the franchise ea would never do that

@@boyishdude1234 and now they’ll be less incentivized to help due to the complete removal of classes in favor of operators. Why pick the medic when you can use a grappling hook and an RPG?
Battlefield has never even come close to ever being described as mil-sim. It has always felt like an arcade shooter because that’s exactly what it is. The only thing that has ever separated it from CoD was destruction, bullet drop, vehicles and classes.
Battlefield is immersive, but not a mil-sim. The older games; BC2, BF3, BF4, BF1, all felt like you were a rank and file soldier in an alternate universe that is more like an action film. Now it's a sudo hero shooter with (soon to be) over the top player customisation. How long until they add anime cosmetics? Kind of ruins the feel/soul of the game.
2042 seems extremely experimental. Vanguard is the same thing as the last two games, just a different setting. Halo Infinite seems to be very careful about everything. I was hyped for 2042, but now it’s a bit of a yikes, Vanguard I didn’t even care about, and Halo Infinite is taking things slow.

I feel for devs sometimes…. On the one hand people complain any time you change anything in a game… look at how many people complain that it “doesn’t feel like (enter game here) anymore.” But on the other hand, it doesn’t make financial sense to spend years making a complex campaign when lots of people only play it a few times then play multiplayer. Also lots of people, myself included are willing to stick with old games. Me and my friends still play halo 3, modern warefare 2, and borderlands 2. Why would we by a new COD game when we can just play what we have.
After playing vanguard and halo, halo is the best shooter this year yes vanguard is fun but halo infinite gives me so much nostalgia and it’s just genuine fun.

In BF2042 I didn't realize ammo was a big problem till I played Solo and didn't know how to ask for ammo.
There’s genuinely no team play anyways because everyone can carry ammo. Better off carrying for yourself than asking others.

@@boyishdude1234 “well now you don’t need teammates to do anything anymore!!!”
@@boyishdude1234 unfortunately that will never happen as the bf vets are a miniscule demographic compared to casual fans and with the budget of the franchise ea would never do that
@@thebigenchilada678 That's a load of crap, actually. During the beta I ran into an ammo problem several times when I wasn't running ammo crates myself because you only get like three magazines, which admittedly doesn't mesh well with bad hitreg.
You DO need teammates for a lot of things in 2042, the problem is that most of the modern Battlefield playerbase doesn't seem interested in doing any sort of teamplay.
He said halo won't be on Playstation no crap that's how it's been for 20 plus year
2042 seems extremely experimental.
Vanguard is the same thing as the last two games, just a different setting.
Halo Infinite seems to be very careful about everything.
I was hyped for 2042, but now it’s a bit of a yikes, Vanguard I didn’t even care about, and Halo Infinite is taking things slow.
the fuck u mean taking things slow
Better slow than a broken buggy mess
Cod is never gonna do anything new reason why is that every time they try something new the community complains about it. Advanced movement? Nope I want classic boots on the ground. Specialist system? Nope it’s annoying.
💯
Mark my words: C.O.D. vanguard will flop.
No It won’t it’s call of duty
Most definitely it will flop
@@buckflamond6962 I wouldn't say flop. More it wont sell as good but cod will always sell because most people go for the usual casual choice. Bf1 pretty much destroyed infinite warfare but infinite warfare still sold more than bf1
Fuck that game
Halo really about to make a crazy comeback
11:45 bruh Bungie hasn't worked on halo since 2011. 343i makes halo now.
Yeah, I misspoke once, sorry it ruined the video.
@@diehardGG sorry if my comment came across rude, it's a minor nitpick and I actually really enjoyed the video.
I think Halo will do the best, I'm so excited to play that and BF
Yeah
When that Mass Effect map music kicks in 🥴👌⭐
Broke:
Call 343 Bungie because of a production error.
Woke:
Call 343 Bungie because it’s finally living up to their legacy.
Holy shit man this is a damn great video. You can tell the hard work behind it.
“ the graphics alone made BUNGIE decide to delay the game”
Were it so easy
Lol
also it was clearly not just graphics
Not sure if you meant to do that reference but it was awesome regardless
I miss when BUNGIE made Halo so much
@@biggiecheese557 thank God they don't do halo anymore
vanguard is not fun, 2042 is fucking unbearable when it comes to bugs and qa. Halo's one and only issue I can think of right now are the players themselves
In my opinion I think the king is back after such a long absence people are like you cautiously optimistic but for me I’m just so hyped and excited for Halo to return. When I first played the flight and heard that music I cried and I can only imagine how I’ll react for campaign. The king is back, Halo is back.
He said "bungie delayed halo." LOL.
I personally think that Battlefield 2042 will be my favorite FPS game that battlefield has released, but I know some people that think the game is shit but everyone has their own opinion.
Same with my opinion for vanguard actually, i hope the campaign is great :b
Fuck other peoples opinions, games are a form of art. Im beyond excited for Halo infinite, and I'm not letting anyone tell me otherwise. Each game offers something special, and I will definitely be playing this new battlefield game despite never playing battlefield before.
@@theodorekalfagiannis7506 hope you enjoy bro. Maybe I'll see you on the battlefield
I'll tell you right now, 2042's launch will be very rough, but that's part of the Battlefield we love now isn't it?
@@Kurtfruelda11 I swear if the Vanguard campaign has an ending like Advance Warfare's "AHHH MITCHEL" I'mma be done lmao
The success from back from blood proves to me that a standalone extinction game based on the Cod ghosts mode would be great with more effort put into it
Tbh once Halo gets all the updates forge game modes and progression I think it will be amazing. It's just sad to see it won't have any of these at launch
Halo infinite flights started in July. WAYYYYY before CoD and BF
I love that Halo doesn’t have a crap ton of bugs. Unlike Forza Horizon 5 which has a new bug everyday, it’s great. Even though it doesn’t have a Co-Op campaign, it’s not like they completely did way with it, they’re still going to add it eventually, and I personally prefer a challenge, better than just having a friend to help me out. That’s just my opinion, but you get my point. Halo is amazing, and it’s the best game I’ve played in what feels like forever
Battlefield is gonna start rough, but people are gonna eventually like it. Vanguard is going to fail, as they are on a streak with this problem. Halo is gonna make game of the year, as it looks like a solid and good return to the series.
Wait wait... min 11:37 ... "...made bungie decide to delay the game over a year"... BUNGIE... you know Halo is now developed by 343 industries? since Halo 4
Yes, I misspoke 🙃
Halo Infinite is dominating with it's multiplayer beta, and the campaign looks like it will be the best one yet.
BF2042 is off to a rough start. I enjoy it and it's been stable for me, but many people are reporting some nasty bugs. Portal hasn't been available long enough to give the community the time to make some killer custom games. 2042 will eventually be an amazing game.
COD Vanguard, I didn't even notice it's release.
250K+ players in the first few hours of beta lmfaooooo
I honestly kept forgetting cod was even competing this year and I thought battlefield could be a very close second to halo, but after seeing more halo gameplay I'm pretty sure it's getting game of the year
13:20 the day Halo is available on Playstation is the day God of War is available on Xbox
Battlefield 2042 will flop on last Gen consoles.
But cod will fail either way
What do you mean?
Same fkin game for 2 years on a different setting lmao
I’m hoping Dying Light 2 is not a flop
Halo infinite definitely won out from what I've seen.
Great video. One thing I would add is that, regarding Call of Duty: Vanguard, I think a part of why it may flop in comparison to previous is that this game is coming from Activision which is going through a bunch of controversy at the moment with Activision Blizzard.
So I think this will flop the most of the three, and Halo:Infinite will be the biggest success of the three.
Man literally said bungie decided to delay BUNGIE cmon man it’s been 11 years can at least get the devs right
have you never misspoke
@@diehardGG ofc but it’s been 11 years it’s not like they left last year or something 343 have been in charge for longer then bungie ever were
@@dylanwalker8401 you realize the entire rest of the video I used the correct company names, and you're nitpicking one instance where I misspoke, right? I know the history of Halo and who did what, I made an entire video on it. ruclips.net/video/0vQ1q1msPXI/видео.html
@@diehardGG in fairness I did comment that when he said it at the time I didn’t wait til the end of the vid to comment
Battlefield 2042’s hit boxes and bullet spread are absolute garbage
Battlefield 2042 and Cod Vanguard will flop.
Halo infinite will enjoy the spoils of war here, refugees from both franchises joining Halo.
Wo, hardcore halo fan over here . Well I liked bf 2042 but the beta kinda not it but I think it will be fixed . COD sucks anyways lol. Halo will be a banger and fire 🔥
Halo doesn’t even deserve to be here if you’re talking about flop or failures. Xbox titles are doin some remarkable progress when it comes to releasing a aaa game! In contrast to the recent disasters of very popular developers releasing unfinished games with no prior gameplay, halo simply stands out. I’m not even a long term fan. But infinite campaign review alone seeds a desire in me to know everything about this 20 year old legendary franchise. Maybe I’ll not get to play all the prev halo games in order, atleast not before completing infinite campaign but I’m sure to try to learn the franchise, know whats happened so far and so halo infinite will be on track and perhaps interesting
getting an actually good halo game so many years later is so fucking insane
Almost unbelievable, didn't think 343i had it in them!
Honestly I just miss the way games used to feel, like when I played BO1 and 2, battlefield 3, halo 3 and reach. Games honestly feel so lifeless to me anymore, I dunno if it’s just that I’ve grown up or if it’s because I used play games 24-7. It just doesn’t feel as good anymore
Try PC
If halo was on PlayStation I think it’d easily play
I need to steal my sisters Xbox to play multiplayer lol
Making me want an xbox
4:30 i think you went too hard on BF2042 tbh. the beta isnt meant to be a finished product and most of what you mentioned are more likely than not to be added last and as such were not present in the beta. The scoreboard and bots especially were pretty clear that they were placeholders and would be improved by launch.
Everyone is just seeing red and complaining nonsensically about the beta because it wasn’t a 1 to 1 copy of BF3 or 4 (which will be remastered in Portal anyways lol so their complaints mean nothing honestly)
Dice makes crappy bots
@@lobaandrade7172 that's not really the issue I suggest you take some time to watch a couple videos on why people think that way. Instead of pressing the nostalgia button. My fav is BF3 and I still enjoyed bf2042, but there are some blaring issues at the games core that would require serious time to change and not even because it's a beta
Guys look let’s see at the launch.
I know it's an old build they showed us, but It's still 1 month from launch, and they were confident enough to show us *That*, which should definitely concerning. Also the other main gripe I'd say the majority of people had, was with Dice's departure from core Battlefield mechanics like it's class roles in favor of Overwatch-style heroes with CoD's pick 10 system...
