I've only just bought my first serger a few months ago and have been too intimidated to sew stretch fabrics in it and have only used it for finishing seams in a few garments so far. This video was unbelievably helpful! Thank you!
I just made a sweatshirt as my first project with my new serger. It turned out well but serging in the round while cutting off the excess seam allowance was so tricky! Your tip makes SO much more sense!

Hi Lydia, i hope yr well. There's a tool called a mending needle it's a product from prym. It's not a needle but a very small latch look, erganomic as well. It has been very easy and useful to me for burying overlocking threads, i also use it to bury yarn tails. Thank you for all your vlogs and tutorials.
OK! I'm convinced. I never wanted to mess with the differential feed, but your last tip finally sold me.
Thank you Lydia! My son gave me a serger for my birthday and I am learning how to use it. The tips are helpful. Yeah!!!
Great tips! I've been sewing for many years and have never seen such a simple yet comprehensive tutorial. Thanks Lydia!
You are so welcome!
THANK YOU for these!! These are the exact things I struggle with on the serger 🙌

Thank you! I would definitely like one since I was using a leather needle.
Thank you ❤
A GREAT tutorial, and advice! Thank you so much. Really useful and helpful information.
Glad it was helpful!
Great tips! I love your patterns. I’m a 16 RTW and fit in your last size offered. Any plans to expand your size range offered?
Amazing
Love it!
Thanks!!
Do you have a video of how to sew sweaters and have flat stitching. No wavy look?!!
The key to flat stitching is to increase the differential feed on your serger. I mention it in this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/yIdWFr383NY/видео.html
How do you turn corners?
Good question, I will make a reel for that!
@@LydiaNaomi thank you! Your time is always appreciated.
