The hospital should have never performed any mutilation surgeries on minors. They nor their parents have the mental capacity to understand the drastic and irreversible changes. When these kids grow up and realize their own parents agreed to this without fully understanding how this can affect their lives these kids when they get older can be so traumatized they could do harm or worse to themselves. One they are adults with a clearer understanding then they can take their own chances and not have someone else take chances for them.
