When I saw #SB19 November 2020, i literally started praying for them. I prayed that one day they will be globally known and will be performing abroad. My prayer now for SB19: to be invited and perform in any music awards here in USA, and in Korea. And look at them now..... they remain humble even with so much success

Eto yung isa sa mga na ayoko nang balikan lalo for Stell kasi siya yung napuruhan sa 2 baklang yon pero eto din ang naging basehan ko para i remind ko sarili ko na Stell has been working hard ever since and made a better version of himself. Nakita ko yung confidence niya nung start ng interview nawala towards the end. Gusto kong maiyak. I have never prayed for any boy bands before but after this they've been in mine every night. May God continue to bless SB19 and may SB19 continue to give the glory back to God.

Few years ago when i was watching bigbangs performances i was thingking, Filipinos were relatively outstanding in singing and dancing, how come we couldn't produce a boy group just like bigbang and bts? And so God gave an opportunity to the Filipinos, for them to represent our country in global music industry. Show all you've got boys, God bless you and your endeavours.
I had to reply to this comment because I certainly agree with you. Even before, I always wonder and told my mom, "bakit kaya wala tayong boyband or boy group sa Philippines na can do singing and dancing na parang same genre or inspired by Kpop or JPop?" kasi given na a lot of Filipinos are good in singing and dancing and can compose a song as well. Why not make a group na pwedeng makipagsabayan sa ibang artists? Hindi kasi pwede mag stay sa traditional na songs na puro birit and covers lang ng kanta ng ibang lahi dapat may napoproduce din tayong kanta that will caught the attention of everyone. Lahat naman kasi ng artists may talent it's just how they market themselves and what I love about SB19 is very authentic sila and napaka genuine. Bonus nlanag yung looks kasi looks will fade lalo na pag matanda kana pero talent? hindi yan nag fefade. Kahit pa matanda kana, you will be remembered by a lot of people. SB19 will always be remembered in the Philippine Industry even when time comes na they will decide to stop and settle down sa kanilang lives and I am hoping hindi pa mangyari sa ngayon kasi nabuang pako nilang tanan. 😭

I was introduced to SB19 just a month ago and I fell in love with their music right away just listening to MAPA the first time…it made me call my mom in the Philippines…i wanted to learn more about them and was only super impressed by their background… hands down love and respect for these boys! I have seen snippets of the interviews and wow was i triggrred . The problem with our industry is just because someone is "established" (veteran, well-connected), like some of these entertainment journos, doesn't mean they're professional. So i look forward to the day esbi's vision for the industry comes to fruition, where everyone's standards are raised (including the audience), respected journos are those that are professional, and asking questions in a rude manner gets you blacklisted.

It was a question that could prepare them in a global scale and give them a clearer vision for the music industry since they were onto something great. The guy comment however was a low blow 😢 as a reporter that was not very professional and till this day pisses me off to my core. To make controversial questions. So in a way, yung presence niya as one of the press invited means na seryoso ang SB TEAM to promote SB19 to the mainstream media. I have no problem with the second reporter as he challenged SB19 (I mean, they WERE managed by a Korean company when they first came out), pero the first one was just putting them (especially Stell) down. Glad he's still alive, hopefully people boycott him. The line of questioning was so unprofessional especially for a supposed "seasoned" journalist like him.

I was introduced to SB19 just a month ago and I fell in love with their music right away just listening to MAPA the first time…it made me call my mom in the Philippines…i wanted to learn more about them and was only super impressed by their background… hands down love and respect for these boys! So sad to watch this video…to have Richard Reynoso and other old singers na hindi ko kilala…sorry i dont even know them…ika nga in Chinese feng shui, done with the old to give room to the new…so sad to give such unsupportive reaction to SB19 who has done nothing but give all their time, energy, hardwork and amazing talent and gave name and recognition to all Filipinos worldwide…especially someone like them na hindi naman nakilala worldwide at very limited ang audience and fans…Sana think first bago mag bitaw ng mga salita para hindi magmukhand tanga.

You can ask "controversial" questions in a way that's inviting interviewees to give voice to their side rather than coming off as an attack. The problem with our industry is just because someone is "established" (veteran, well-connected), like some of these entertainment journos, doesn't mean they're professional. So i look forward to the day esbi's vision for the industry comes to fruition, where everyone's standards are raised (including the audience), respected journos are those that are professional, and asking questions in a rude manner gets you blacklisted.
This interview has always been cringey for me and still hurtful but thanks to them they made our boys stronger.

The one who asked how will they promote ppop when they sound kpop was an acceptable one. It was a question that could prepare them in a global scale and give them a clearer vision for the music industry since they were onto something great.

To make controversial questions. So in a way, yung presence niya as one of the press invited means na seryoso ang SB TEAM to promote SB19 to the mainstream media.

I have no problem with the second reporter as he challenged SB19 (I mean, they WERE managed by a Korean company when they first came out), pero the first one was just putting them (especially Stell) down. Glad he's still alive, hopefully people boycott him. The line of questioning was so unprofessional especially for a supposed "seasoned" journalist like him.
