This was the first thing I ever heard from Floor & I was blown away. Who is this woman?? So I listened to more & to reactions, which led me to Nightwish & also to Dimash ❤️ I owe this song a lot! Great reaction, keep up the good work 😁❤️

the crazy thing is Floor does NOT speak Spanish.
she learned " just " in 24 hours to be able to sing Spanish words / lyrics .
that's why she also talks about the Spanish and salsa course on the eide.

Can we also please speak out some appreciation on the band. I think honestly it’s one of the best bands of the country. In such short notice being able to play every arrangement on every song the singer gives them.
Floor is great. I have another song you should see. It's in the program we want more, with in the jury, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Henk Poort, Davina Michelle, Ali b en the son of Andre Hazes. Andre jr. The song is skyfall and is song by an man called Robin. He won this show. de link: Robin Borneman - Skyfall // Halve Finale. Its great and sound so good. I think better than the original song.

I play sousaphone in a Marchingband, English Militairy style for 3 years now, before that I played same instrument in a Marchingband American style for 25 years.. totally different, and don't start which one is more difficult..they both are in their own way..apples and pears..both fruit and both eatable.. My mom's new Friend is also a sousaphone player..but in dixyland style ... same instrument again...totally other approach in playing it..
I'm not a big fan of the music put out by Floor Jansen and Nightwish, nor do I think it's bad (she does have a great voice), it's just not really my kind of music. But credits where credits are due: she owned this: she turned a salsa song into a rock ballad, without making it sound like a cheap knock-off. Very well done!

Every episode they choose songs, with lyrics that touched the heart of one of them. This episode is for the male singer called Brace. He had a rough childhood, has been in prison, lost his dad when he was just 15 years old. Although the song that is sung by Anita Meiijer, the lady in pink clothes, the song hit a nerve with the female singer called Maan. Her boyfriend broke up with her and she was still hurting. Brace the male singer is touched by the song, but Maan totally breaks down. So my heart went out for her. She is the youngest amongst the singers, and it was her first boyfriend and relationship that ended. Anita starts singing at about 25 minutes. Anita is ofcourse looking at Brace, cause this episode is about him and he sang this song in the dutch Voice of Holland. So she doesnt notice it at first that Maan is breaking down in tears, The song is called: EVEN FLINK ZIJN. Which means something like: Just be strong. The original song is from Robert Long, a singer who passed away some years ago. Brace got the song from his grandmother and told him, maybe you should sing this somewhere on a stage. He sang it in The Voice, its a strong ballad. Maybe not the best performance, but it sure was a very emotional one for Brace and for Maan... I hope you are able to translate the song in english... I am a Dutch/Portuguese metalfreak and most bands I love are with male singers (Alterbridge, Disturbed...bands people never heard in the Netherlands and they don't want to hear it) But Floor is something special. I knew her way before she joined Nightwish, we chatted a lot. She is really a sweet warm person and I am so happy for her that she got the band she deserves.
It is sad so little people in the Netherlands know her damned. When will Metal finally be accepted in this country? It is so big in other European countries, so many huge awesome festivals.
We all should be proud of Floor and embrace rock and Metal >3
Queen Floor is the ultimate chameleon. She can sing in many different languages, styles, and genre's, and be the sexy Valkyrie Metal Goddess. Then when she goes home to her farm in Sweden, she is a farm girl, tending the horses, mending fences, and being a Mom/Wife. It's pretty amazing when you think about it.
Just casually mentions "uncle Henk" You so get what this show is about and the athmosphere among these people. We dutchies love it. But to see you enjoy it and all the positivity is amazing! Loving it! 😘

There was a Japanese singer reaction to Floor Jansen w/ NW and he was commenting on the though of why is metal so popular in Nordic and surrounding countries. He though perhaps it was all about heat. The hot climates to "cool" music, calm peaceful, like reggae, salsa, etc.... while the remote cold places do songs with heat. I think its not quite that (think about how popular NW is in south America) yet its an interesting way to look at it for sure.
