I know and calling ahead I was told over hour and a half wait. But I'm back up there working in two weeks. Glad JL Jupiter finally did a review but then I'm feeling sorry he did.

@@frankworthington7163 if it's just you go as a walk in not on the lunch or dinner rush and they will squeeze you it's hard to squeeze big orders in throws off the schedule and everyone mad. So you alone or you and significant other give it a shot maybe get order quick maybe a half hour wait
Shit man. I went to site to get that cheese steak recipe and had everything but that on there. I will stop in next time I am anywhere close. That bread Curlys use looks amazing.

Just had Curley’s for the first time on Saturday with the boys… what a crazy experience man! The cheesesteak with cooper sharp on the fresh seeded roll is a heavyweight contender hands down. Blew all of our minds. The hush puppies will leave you speechless. Very special and unique spot. Will be back for more
Curlys never disappoints! Everytime I go there's a bunch of people from Philly there, some of them even said it's the best one they had!

When JL broke that cheesesteak in half to open this episode, I knew it would be a winner. That crusty bread chock full of beefy, cheesy oniony goodness...now I want a cheesesteak!

It was a Checkers at one point, they closed. Then, it was a BBQ place that was great! and they closed. I drive past a least twice a day. Curly's, get ready for a line out the door. JL speaks and we listen.
Yeah I know right I hope they are definitely ready for the JL Jupiter facts because it is definitely going to be out of control and a lot of people will be there. I was just commenting on the owners daughters husbands comment threat that we have a vacant checkers restaurant here at 1208 North Broad Street Philadelphia PA 19121 that they could take over and bring that great food here to the North Broad Street Temple area I believe that the community and the neighborhood would support this business and they would do well here actually more than well and would be a great contender for the surrounding restaurants in the area being as though that we have Larry's steaks down Girard avenue it would be nice to have another choice to get a cheesesteak from.

This video made me go here for lunch today. I got the same cheese steak and it was amazing! I spoke to the owner and he said Thanks JL for posting the video. He said business was busier then normal.
Why would it be busier? He's not a very big or well known youtuber.

That cheese steak looks delicious. Super cheesy and the steaks are not overly chopped. Most places chop up the meat like ground beef with the spatula as it cooks.
Exactly! I prefer mine to still have some texture and not be ground steak.

Congratulations on obtaining over 200k subscribers JL Jupiter. However- that sneak looks delectable serenaded with authentic ribeye steak, caramelized onions, plenty of American cheese. That jawn is packed with meat with a fresh roll. Additionally- the cheese fries and mac and cheese looks succulent. Looks like another " game changer!"
That mac and cheese and that cheese steak are ridiculously amazing. I'm just putting it out there that there is a vacant Checkers restaurant here at 1208 North Broad Street Philadelphia PA 19121 that Curly's should pursue here and it has the outside seating just like the one that you did the video at. It would be a great addition to the north Broad Temple area as well as a great contender for the surrounding restaurants and businesses here at Broad and Girard and we have Larry's steaks down the street but it would be nice to have a choice where to get a great cheesesteak here in this area instead of us that live here in the community having to travel so far to get great food. I love it that they are a comfort food restaurant and that would be amazing to have here in our community at Broad and Girard. They will be loved welcome and well appreciated.

This video does no justice to how good they really are. As amazing as it looks on video, it's actually even better than it looks. When they first got poppin there was a little wait but people didn't even care, they just sat outside in their cars waiting. During the height of the pandemic. That's how good they are.

I’m from Philly where I grew up on the best Cheesesteaks from Dalessandro’s to Max’s.Moved to the Borough a year ago discovered Curly’s hands down the best cheesesteak “experience” of my life.

We went yesterday, and they were sold out of burgers and cheesesteaks. The woman at the counter said they had sold 300 sandwiches by 2pm, and it was because of your video. So we got the fries and wings, and they were good as well..Definitely going back to get those cheesesteaks!!

Everything looks perfect! The bread and how it was toasted, the meat, cheese and onions. The fries were my perfect type of fires I usually don't like muxh on my Mac and cheese but that looked really goos.
I wish we had legit cheesesteaks like that here in Cali. Damn that looks so damn good.

@@soya5180 Im with you Soya. Im originally from South Philly but live down here in La Jolla (San Diego). Believe it or not there is 1 place that I found surprisingly decent. It’s called Calozzi’s Cheesesteaks and is located in pacific beach. Guy is from Philly and makes a great steak. Come check it out 👌🏻
I knew I knew. Glad you finally hit them. They putting it down better than some of the Philly Greats. My first sandwich put me to sleep in the parking lot. Lucky I was in my RV. I also be driving to Delaware to bring my friend what I got them.
I'm old school from Philly. And I also posted high remarks and pictures on Google Maps. You need to mention you can order ahead because some days the wait is crazy. The pot pies and Mac and cheese with firecracker shrimp and hush puppies. Never thought I'd be saying a pot pie is good. I tryed one day because they have a special on Thursday. I was waiting on a pizza steak which in my opinion is better than the cheese steak. It must have been 50 order of pot pies go out the door
Curly is a great guy he would have had you sample some stuff while you wait because he knows it speak for itself. He looks out every time I come through because I know he's seen my review. Wait until he sees your video.
That explains why the I could not get taken care of this week Curly was on vacation.. I could not get what I want without a hour and a half wait so I bounced to Jays Joint not far away. That's just different but you must try their Pretzel roll. Two Philly Favorite together. Or their cheese steak egg rolls special made popping with different flavors inside. Not on the same level but worth the drive. I started a Ride to Eat on my other channel for cycling and motorcycle hopefully one day we run into each other. You doing a great job. But I couple more spot you need to try.

@JL Jupiter, I had Curly's cheesesteak for the first time several months ago... Excellent! Guess who's going back there again today!! I grew up in So. Philly & there are so many great cheesesteak spots there. Now I live not too far from Curly's in Yardley (10 minutes away) & I found Curly's is at the top of the cheesesteak world, in my opinion. Thanks for going & to tell the cheesesteak world about this fantastic eatery!
Used to live in Ne philly by steves, joes, etc . Moved to levittown a couple years ago. I can confirm Curlys is TOP tier.

Food is amazing at curlys. Only down fall is them telling you when you can pick the food up, could be 3-4 hours. I ordered in and waited almost 2 hours.

I have family in Yardley not far away and I am definitely going to eat a Cheesesteak there the fries are unreal the onions look delicious beyond belief the bread looks fantastic I'm already hungry and I just ate dinner. There just isn't any place like a Philly cheesesteak on planet Earth when it's made right in Philly. It's just hard to believe but it takes talent to make the right Cheesesteak and from the looks of it that looks great and I'm sure the rest of the food is fabulous that shrimp looked excellent. It's a long ride from way down here in Delaware County but it's going to be worth it. My friend sent me the video I subscribed definitely worth it keep up the good work I really enjoyed watching it. Now to really enjoy it I'm going to go have one.

In the DMV our Knights of Columbus is the VFW. It’s ran by veterans and they normally have a bar at the locations and they have entertainment especially on the weekends. You can find Unc and them at one playing cards, drinking cognac and eating good during the weekdays 😂
The cheese steak sandwich bread holds the meat cooked very well,fresh ingredients and flavor,cooked with heart and love and understanding who food is cooked. The Mac and cheese looks great fresh great ingredients and cooked very well.

I remember back in the day they used to have this spot called Moe & Curly's located Wayne Avenue in Germantown in Philly they're closed now but they was known for big large Hoagies they put some other places to shame cuz that's how good and how big their sandwiches was
