Mr. Jordan Peterson Great pod cast. As an American 🇺🇸 it’s great to hear another perspective, on economic. The lesson on origins of the English abolish was fascinating. I never heard about the story. I am extremely jealous on how you articulate the English language. Big fan. Your lesson on agreeable people has help me a lot.
Father, im thankful for this man. What a privilege to know and hear from him. This may be one of the best podcast yet. But again, another insightful conversation comes up and I again make this same conclusion. I'm really feeling guilty getting this knowledge free. I will subscribe to DW only because of Jordan Peterson.
Peter Obi of Nigeria comes in mind. Just that leaders like this, ain’t that popular among elite politicians because of different of ideologies. I appreciate him.
Jordan, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but if so I’d like you to know you’ve helped me change my life with your brutal honesty. You’ve helped me cultivate my sick spirituality into a blossoming relationship with God. The people that had my best interests in mind, people that I love more than life itself couldn’t get through to me. You did and You’ve done so much more than that for so many people!! So when the world gets unbearable Just remember there are millions of people out there who are afraid to be honest. They need you. I need you. We all do. God works through all of us but shines brightest through the honest and fearless men who do what’s necessary for our happiness in the face of evil. Even they are envious of you. You are humility, courage and honesty personified. The direction I’m aiming towards. 0:36
There is so much to learn for today’s politicians globally and everyday men. It will be sometime for them to take notice and make a turn in their policies.. Jordan’s episodes are promising for us to see that there are wise politicians and thinkers of our time. So God is mercy on us. We are lucky.
Wow, those words at the end. These conversations are so rich, educative, although sometimes above my understanding. We have to keep up with Jordan's thinking, but the more spiritual grounds of his speaking partner speak to me. Thank you so much ✨
Wonderful interview. I would like to thank John Anderson for his influence spiritually, as well as for bringing out the moral imperative of government operating in a debt-free fashion. I also appreciated the Wilberforce segment. The only thing I would observe in response to the wrap-up is that we only change our self-centered behavior through our ongoing reliance on Jesus Christ; we don't become "good" or the source of our own strength, even after coming to faith and apprehending Truth. As we come to recognize and reject the foolishness of our pride, we discover that our hope is found in abiding, not "arriving"... and this results in joy and peace, as well as an ability (and desire) to extend grace.
Finally- the last few interviews were making me worried Dr. Peterson had sold out but this one was really good, actually addressing some specifics in politics while grapply with major moral and individual choice issues.
A great conversation. I wish Jordan would allow his guests to finish their thoughts before he jumps in. It's a very valuable listening skill. I appreciate both of these men, we need leaders like these.
These two men have helped me to solidify my political thoughts over the last three years into a positive pattern of action. It's wonderful to see them in the same room, talking about some of the great issues of our times. I would've loved to hear them talk about education and youth prospects even more as I know both are passionate about the issue - but the economics discussions are very welcome too!
I spent my career helping large organizations to save money. It's obvious to me that the US government makes no effort whatsoever to spend our money wisely or reduce waste. They spend (our) money like they stole it. Ridiculous social programs, insane over-staffing, inflated salaries, benefits paid to those not entitled, poor procurement, corruption, no-bid contracts, private jets for middle management etc etc. I could cut spending in half without any noticable loss of services. But spending less apparently hasn't even occurred to them. Nobody ever tried before...
Your employer will reward you for those savings you've made but when government does it for the public, the public will kick them out of office. That's how we got here, and it's very logical why politicians are doing what they do.
YOU SHALL NOT WORRY. There is a program coming up, wishing you a happy year and merry X-mas. We're all involved, tuning in what's worthier, each human is learning to detect, defer and note.
I am amazed as to the level of information the rich have. John Anderson touching on Nigeria & our ever increasing upward population trajectory, as a Nigerian watching from Nigeria, I am quite intrigued. There's something to be said there; the rich..possessing information..tells you that knowledge is power & with that wealth can be created. It's the first time I am hearing about this William Wilberforce story.
The rich or more well off……often have time to do such things…..their minds won’t be on where the next meal is coming from or working to pay bills etc…….. It is a chicken and the egg situation as to wether the wealth or education came first in some circumstances.
What a Beautiful Man, and You as Well, Mr. Jordan Perterson!! I've Always had a Globe on a 2ft. Stand, and it Always had the Country of Australia Showing, because my Children. And Myself have Wished to Go See the Awesomeness of that Country!! Vaya con Dios!

Could it also be said that when women were socially pressured to work for wages, they stopped volunteering for the marginalized within their communities, which created a volunteer vacuum that government then attempted to fill? Government funded social programs are expensive and inefficient. Increased government spending causes inflation, which makes it harder for families to survive on one income. The cycle continues until we find ourselves living under a poor and socialized economy.
Wow. This is an astute observation. My grandmother used to constantly be in the small town paper for hosting this, organizing that, serving on this board and that church circle. I’m afraid people would take this now as “women’s labor has no value,” but you certainly saw less of her volunteerism once she finished college and became a full-time teacher.
Another consequence that you may have already considered is that the government about doubled the taxable population with the introduction of women into the workforce. It came at a cost, though. It made for less women raising children and having families. It made for less men with the opportunity to make their own families and give them compelling reasons to be moral actors.
Agreed. My mother’s generation was discouraged from working unless there was no husband. (many women took temp jobs or seasonal work.) But those women worked so many volunteer tasks from March of dimes to running thrift stores. I have worked with a few groups that needed volunteers desperately, but people are so busy they would rather donate money than time.
In my community a lot of people live off welfare or want the holly grail of disability cheques. Many of them also work on the side. I see a lot of dead weights dragging us all down. The most unproductive cry the loudest for the productive to be the more productive....eventually it all breaks when the workers and tax payers can't keep up any longer.
Its stunning how many service groups we once had in Canada and now most of them are gone. I always wondered why but I think it comes down to govt ever increasing welfare state that duplicates and squeezes out what people used to do for free to give back to their communities. Govt programs might start with good intentions but inevitably they become bloated bureaucracies that take a toe hold that they never want to give up. Any party that want to control the out of control spending is demonized as uncaring and the usual ad hominems. It's hard to see how this all can end...
Wow. This is a fantastic discussion! In order to think and express an opinion, there are prerequisites! One must be well-informed, searching for the best possible policy, separated from emotion, and interested in the most robust debate possible. Imagine we start all debates with this universal moral compass…
Before you promote the idea of paying off government debt completely, it would be wise to investigate Modern Monetary Theory and it’s founder Warren Mosler. You’ll discover that the outstanding debt in the economy is the actual money supply. Trying to pay it all off would lead to a devastating depression.
I'm not a native English speaker so I'm still not able to express my feelings very well. That being said, I want to let you know I love you as much as I love my father...🖤 You're a miracle to us...🏞 I wish you the best, Dr.Peterson...🪽 God bless you, and I hope I get to see you soon...🌌

Good evening Jordan and John I have navigated my own wee world for 49 years, so far. And have almost mastered the craft of recognising that all 'ups and downs' in my world are fundemental constants in my 'time' and this indeed enables my thinking 'me' to both suffer and thrive (in simplest of terms). However as I continue my world of highs and lows the ups and downs. I find, new truths/questions/fears, like am I less in control of. For instance my children's worlds in the future! Although my children are young adults crafting their very own world's! Being an older adult and a mother and new grandmother I'm almost secretly perhaps too silent ish, in my worry and when thinking of the continued constant ups and downs to come. In short there is so much more we can be doing to ready our youth and young adults. Thankyou for your candid shared discussion. Intellectual sense making brain gym.💜
Mr Anderson, here is an idea for government: do not spend money you don’t have spend ONLY what you get in revenue, and DO NOT borrow money. Will severe cuts happen? Yes, but it’s living with reality.
Jordan, I love the pod casts but I must criticize the ads in the middle of conversation. If I may recommend putting all ads at the start and none in the middle. This would really help with the flow of conversation. Cheers.
Funny that at 3:45 there's a screenshot of John's RUclips page, which features a link to John's latest conversation with Victor Davis Hanson. I've been really hoping that Jordan would have a conversation with him, as I'd love to see a deeper dive into Victor's perspectives on history and current politics by Jordan. VDH is one of my favorite members of the Hoover Institution, along with Thomas Sowell, Peter Robinson, and Bjørn Lomborg.
For reference. Debt to GDP comparison Canada vs Australia 2021. Canada: %113 Australia: % 36.1. Canada is on the high side Australia the low. If we could get Canadians to understand the ramifications of this reckless spending then Justin Trudeau would lose the next election.
I wish politics was that easy and voting mattered. Looking around the globe all we see is totalitarian regimes run by financial services owned by rats that love a good war. Its bloody profitable.
Mr.Peterson I believe I have a moral case for mankind among evaluation and I would really like to present it to you and receive your words on and around it
I hope that you will pull out into a smaller clip this latter part about Wilberforce and slavery. I think it’s still longish, like up to 15-20 minutes, but that is something I can more easily share with people who need to hear it. That section was so cogent and coherent in a discrete way that I believe others will hear. Everyone cheers the end of slavery, though most have no idea the truth of the story, and you guys laid it out well.

Great pod cast.
These discussions are so valuable, its almost unbelievable. I'm so grateful to be able to listen!!!!
Peter Obi of Nigeria comes in mind. Just that leaders like this, ain’t that popular among elite politicians because of different of ideologies. I appreciate him.
This podcast is cold shower of ideas and way to make order in life.🤩🤩
Jordan, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but if so I’d like you to know you’ve helped me change my life with your brutal honesty.
A really high quality conversation. Thanks for this one.
I would LOVE to see the Gutenberg Bible. Knowing how that one item has changed the trajectory of humanity. It's amazing to think about.
Fabulous conversation. Thank you both so much gentlemen, much appreciated.
Thank you to both of you for sharing so much wisdom.
Peterson squandered a golden opportunity here. Anderson is a fascinating man, and Peterson hardly let him get a word in.
incredible episode by the great jordan peterson
Very useful to listen, the issues that are discussed.
Thank you John Anderson and Dr.Peterson indeed.
I suppose it is because the rich take the time and effort to educate themselves as opposed to waiting for someone else to educate them.
The rich or more well off……often have time to do such things…..their minds won’t be on where the next meal is coming from or working to pay bills etc……..
It is a chicken and the egg situation as to wether the wealth or education came first in some circumstances.
These podcasts are better than anything on tv
Finally, I got to this on my 'Watch Later' list and another tremendous talk.
We need to reintroduce free debate in society.
What a Beautiful Man, and You as Well, Mr. Jordan Perterson!!
I've Always had a Globe on a 2ft. Stand, and it Always had the Country of Australia Showing, because my Children. And Myself have Wished to Go See the Awesomeness of that Country!!
Vaya con Dios!
thankyou Dr Peterson as a Australian this is the interview I needed to see I hope in the near future you interview othe Austrians very much appreciated
Highly enlightening and enjoyable conversation. 😊
Where Petersons talent should be used, in politics in global issues, where something really makes an impact.

God bless you Jordan 🙏🏻
So straightforward- hope this is heard far and wide...
Excellent Discussions. Thank you

Good evening Jordan and John
I have navigated my own wee world for 49 years, so far.
I find conducting a interview just like reading the book after all it can be an story from beginning to end.
Its art
I know its quite childish but I got a huge giggle at the start when Jordan says "So Mr Anderson" 🤣
Hahaha
I suppose he's already obliquely tied to Hugo Weaving through the Red Skull smear
if your outcome exceeds your income - your upkeep will be your downfall.
Mr Anderson, here is an idea for government: do not spend money you don’t have spend ONLY what you get in revenue, and DO NOT borrow money. Will severe cuts happen? Yes, but it’s living with reality.
Great conversation. Thank you for all you've been doing.
John would be one of not the most sensible voices in Australia today just wish more people would bother to listen..
A proven track record of stopping the increasing budget/deficit spending corruption. Impressive!
Canada's & the USA's inflation is Much more than 8% at the grocery store. The politically reported number may be 8%, but it is more like 48%.
Same in Australia. Every time I hear a sub 10% inflation figure reported here I get a sudden flush of cortisol to the head at this stage.
I really miss John Anderson in public life in australia.
So helpful that you clarify the meaning of the economic terms . Thank you.
Only God can give " the opportunity to be the person I should have been" . And so He has and so He will .
This was a riveting conversation. Thank you.
Jordan Peterson should let Anderson talk more.
This was a very interesting conversation though.
Another outstanding interview. Thank you to both of you!
Mr.Peterson I believe I have a moral case for mankind among evaluation and I would really like to present it to you and receive your words on and around it
Another excellent conversation. Thank you, Dr. Peterson. Any chance you would ever consider sitting as a senator in Canada?
Another amazing conversation! Thank You!
Amazing conversation. Thank you, both.
Super discussion. Thank you both.
6 million deserved subscribers. A very Merry Christmas.
Never heard of this guy but I'm glad I have now.
