Now it's time to party, since technically Easter is the #1 Christian holiday, from a theological perspective. A very happy Easter indeed! (Is my mind full of jokes that might be blasphemous? Yes, but I'm being good!)
@@mskellycarelessit's definitely a racket...plus the labor for that kind of packaging drives up the price but doesn't give the recipient anything extra... The cheap chocolate ones are still dramatically overpriced for the value of the chocolate.

I love how they made the boxes reversible without out the number on the other side. Makes it way more reusable.

Those prices are wild. On the other hand - those free gift samples were basically the entire contents of several other seasonal offerings we’ve seen!

I don't normally comment, but I can say the lip balm got my mom through chemo as it can dry out your skin. It was her little luxury. I use one Sisley serum for oily skin and it does really help my the oil control.
Hello Alexandra, FYI keep a small jar with a tight lid of ground coffee on your desk. That way when the perfumes and different fragrances start to bother you. Take a couple of deep calming breaths and inhale the smell of coffee.. Yes it does work. I've done it several times myself.
Yes 🙌 I’m a Scentsy consultant and when I’m selling my products at an event I always bring along a container with coffee grounds for people who are smelling all of my smell goods it 100% works!!! Great suggestion!
I agree! I couldn't imagine paying $80 for mascara!!! I don't even like paying $15-20 for mascara 🙄🤦 make sure you update us on that after you open it

You should get a little cabinet to display all them cute little perfume samples you get! Or like a tray and display them.

I would never collect perfumes or anything like that, but I’m honestly tempted by some of the tiny bottles. Because tiny things are always adorable and when the brand goes to the effort to make adorable little bottles, I’m kind of into it.

This was my grandmother's favorite brand for... everything, apparently. When she died and we cleaned out both bathrooms, we found enough unused "free with purchase" samples to fill a couple big black trash bags! We tried to use as many as possible.
I think this is the only calendar where we can’t get mad at the small size items, especially when they cost 50 to 100 dollars.
When the free gift is better than most actual advent calendars.

My niece cut gluten from her diet for 6 months (she cheated only once in the beginning) and she got rid of her migraines (except the one cheat early on). There are many other things that can be done these days for migraines, so see your doctor. ALSO NOTE: I am not a doctor. Please consult with your regular doctor before starting a new diet.
I have chronic daily migraines too. With that much fragrance I would end up in the ER! But I absolutely love Advent calendar season for the same reason!

Please never apologize for videos being longer! You are delightful to watch, especially during advent calendar season when you get the wildly expensive products.
I've tried some of the Sisley skincare products and it's not the results you're paying for, it's the experience. I won't knock the products, many of them are very nice and high quality, but prescription ingredients or a strong retinal product will have more of an impact on your skin than most of the products in the calendar that focus on natural ingredients. That said, these products are typically much more aesthetically pleasing (scent, texture, compatibility with makeup, potentially even blurring effects) than the more skin transforming alternatives. The brand is also very good with scents and makeup, with the makeup being some of the best you can purchase, though there is only a product or two I will personally ever repurchase given the price points.
What are those products?
One plus to “after advent season” is that it might be warm enough to open the windows to chase out the strong perfume. Also, I LOVE after advent season!

Trigeminal neuralgia ( or TN ) will cause headaches. It's your T1 branch that reaches from your eye up. Unfortunately there can be many triggers to set it of including smells. If you can, try to keep track of what sets your headaches off. It may be your TN and not just a headache. Hope you get relief from the pain. OH, and GREAT video! The box is just beautiful!

My Dentist damaged my V2 trying to deaden my back molar for a bridge. She kept injecting and after like 6 shots it was finally numb. It's been 4 years and ever since my outer bottom lip, lower jaw line to my ear & the entire corner of my mouth is STILL completely numb. I drink and it feels like water is running down my face 😢
I have RSD/CRPS and I thought she may have hit a facial nerve and caused my neuropathy to spread. The pain you are talking about I have in my main Sciatica nerve and it has spread to mid back. I have been on medication since I was 9 & I am 44. I knew people with CRPS in their face but now I think it has been given its own name! I had no idea. Thank you for sharing. I have a spinal cord stimulator, I am getting it removed due to recall this Thursday. Wonder if people with this see any improvement?

As a migraine sufferer I feel you on the perfume thing. When I wear mine I spritz it on the nape of my neck, and it makes my hair smell nice too. I think it’s also why I adore Viva La Juicy so much, it’s not overly strong.

I have literally hundreds of small perfume bottles from my days of working in cosmetics when I was young.( I’m 68) now and 99% of them are still full. I have them displayed on an antique shelve with a mirror behind them. We used to get them for free. Now they cost some serious money! My granddaughters can’t wait to own them! 😂 I just love your videos.
I wouldn't buy the calendar because if I found things that I really liked there is no way I could justify buying skin care items for $300.00 to$500.00 dollars. I love watching you unbox them😊

Yes Alexandria, you indeed got an $80 mascara and a $100 lip balm. I am shaking my head right along with you on this one. I will stick to my elf skincare and cosmetics thank you very much. Honestly I think they make this stuff stupid expensive because people with tons of money wouldn’t use the $7 elf mascara just because it’s $7. It’s like oh she has gobs and gobs of money but buys her makeup in target! The rich sneer at anything the rest of us buy.
No, I can not imagine that tiny tube is $100. I just bought a 13 oz pump bottle of Gold Bond retinal body lotion for $17.00 and complained about the price.

Sisley products are soooooo amazing. The rose mask cleared my face problems within half a month. The anti aging line is amazing as well. That lip bomb is top tier
