A lot of companies overcharge because there's a term perceived quality they charge more and you perceive that the item is better than it is so like they did a I can't remember what the channel was but on RUclips there's a video this guy went to a pizza place told people as they were coming in. They were paying different prices for the pizza Saying a special for the day and saying this one's uses whole like Roma tomatoes, and and sun Marzano, and said like different things to each person different prices for the exact same pizza when it came and at the end of their meal, they were asked about their experience and the pizza the ones that thought they were paying morewere more satisfied than the people who thought they were paying less Godiva chocolate uses fake vanilla the higher price is perceived quality, not real quality

They sell Lele Sadoughi headbands and other hair accessories at Saks. They do indeed sell for $85 and even more. It is absolutely ridiculous. I cannot imagine ever paying that much for a headband. However, at least FFF is not making up that price.
I looked on the Lele Sadoughi website, and the prices are insane. They sell some $150-200 headbands because they have a few crystals and faux pearls on them. I am speechless. And clearly they sell some of this?!?

Now they sent me emails at least daily and I am constantly shocked by the prices of the things they sell, including those headbands. They sell Prada headbands, no crystals, $600! WTF 😬

You’re probably right about milk Cosmetics, but I had heard they changed the packaging because consumers were complaining about product going to waste. The product would expire before people could go through it all and that was why they made smaller packaging. But making more money makes sense too, so who really knows…
That would be fine if they changed the pricing too but I have the feeling they did not lol. It's like ELF starting out with tiny cheap products for $1- $5 now they have tiny cheap products for $10-$30
It’s a form of shrinkflation. Either they charge you more for the same amount of product or they shrink the product and charge you the same amount usually companies are very sneaky about this where they make it smaller and smaller in increments so that you can’t really tell until you see one compared to an old one, but in reality, it is a cost-cutting measure That companies are using because of the tremendous amount of inflation. It’s wrong either way but if people would learn what causes such horrible inflation we could lessen it. usually you can get the same amount for just a little bit more as opposed to buying such a small amount for the exact same price.

I noticed that what I'm really enjoying about this channel is it's feeling not just like a community But also like we've become a family in many ways. Those of us that were here from the beginning really have watched alexandria Grow grow into an intelligent young woman. With a business sense to be proud of As well as someone to be reckoned For those who are trying to pull a fast one . Again those of us who were here in the beginning will also remember when she was too Timid to comment on inferior products. It's fun to go back and watch some of her older videos and see the change . She's become a strong role Model teaching the younger viewers to think before they spend And nowadays that's an especially valuable tool to have. These videos save me so much money! I tried FFF for awhile, got a few good things for a reasonable price, but their shall we say creative value assignments took the fun out of it in a hurry. So glad we have your videos to both entertain us and show us what we're not missing!

If you're sleeping a lot but still feeling tired, you might want to get checked out by a sleep therapist. I went through a stage like that, where I was SO tired I would nearly fall asleep standing up. Turns out that I have severe sleep apnea, and have to sleep with a CPAP machine. Once you figure out what's causing your problem and get it fixed, you'll be AMAZED by how much more energy you have! :)
When you finally make it through the last of the Advent calendars I’m going to be so depressed. This series has brought so much joy to my dreary winter. Please always do an extended advent season. As a press on nail girly, I honestly love Glamnetic. I only use them for occasions cause they aren’t cheap but I really like the shape of the nail and they hold up.
I would strongly recommend against UV cure glues as you have some allergy issues already- they can cause severe allergies that mean no more gel or acrylic nails ever! Stick to regular polish with a base and topcoat for longevity, or stick ons with superglue like you got in here ❤

I’m with you and can’t understand why anyone would pay that much for a headband. However, that brand runs from $45-$225 for their “normal” ones and then jumps to $500+ for their more specialty ones (eg. made with Swarovski). It’s insane to me
Your story about the nail almost ripping your natural nail off brought back memories…nightmares??! I used to use some glue on ones by Ardell and managed to catch my little finger one on my left hand whilst on a night out…not realising I’d actually ripped the entire natural nail off from the root along with it, until after! I have a very good pain threshold! It took ages to grow back and I did feel like a bit of a wolly!
Something that has become tradition in my family for Christmas is a pair on nice fuzzy soft socks. The year there wasn't any we all were sad. My cousin has a knack for finding amazingly soft socks.😂😊

I love my glamnetic nails. I bought the bigger bottle of glue because you brush it on like nail polish. I use it with my cheaper nails as well and then file them to nail length so and they stay on really well

I’m always confused why people continuously talk about the milk makeup thing when that switch happened years ago. Another creator I watch mentions it every time she talks about those products. But apart from the product lasting too long, it’s also a lot of product that most people wouldn’t be able to use the majority of it before it went bad. So it’s smart that they made it smaller but the fact that the price stayed the same and probably has gone up due to inflation, well… the math ain’t mathing
For nails I use nail wraps and love them, there’s no need for a uv lamp and they can last 2 weeks. I get mine from Lily & Fox as they have amazing designs and they are so easy to do. It’s about the only girly type thing I do, I don’t wear make up as I just breakout no matter who has made the make up. Love you videos x
I just recently saw you can buy "grippy" stickers to iron on socks yourself! I don't know how well they work on fuzzy socks but maybe you wanna look into that ❤
What you could do with those fuzzy socks is take a hot glue gun and put the dots on the bottom so you won't slip and fall. I've done that to a few pairs of mine and it works pretty well. 🥰
If you want to add grippies to your fluffy socks, you can put dots of hot glue on the bottom and let it cool. Super easy and quick and when they come off, easy to re-do. (:

i actually love getting skincare in subscription boxes and advent calendars because i’m not really likely so spend my money on skincare or really shop for it beyond whatever walmart or target offers, so it’s nice to get stuff i wouldn’t myself pay for
Byoma is sold at target. Very inexpensive but I love their skincare. My 17 daughter also uses them. We have an allergy to PG (propylene glycol) and PEG (polyethylene glycol) which causes chemical burn like rashes. These are amazing for those with sensitive skin and teens.

Great video!!! Glamnetic is the only brand of nails I use! They are thicker, better quality, and have an amazing glue! I can easily get 2-3 weeks out of a set of nails! I also love their nail remover solution too - it works great! I’m wearing a set right now!!! 🙌🙌🙌
As someone whose comfort show is Gossip Girl - that headband looks very Blair Waldorf and so that price just made sense to me. I expect all of her headbands in that show were $100+
Removing all of your makeup properly helps with puffiness and overall face fatigue. That sounds like a back handed comment/suggestion but I’m being for real! lol double cleansing can turn skin around like you wouldn’t believe

Just a note about that milk makeup sizing situation… the current “full size” used to be the SAMPLE SIZE that they sold for half the price. They swapped to that size being the full size and literally didn’t lower the price at all. Crazy.

i actually love getting skincare in subscription boxes and advent calendars because i’m not really likely so spend my money on skincare or really shop for it beyond whatever walmart or target offers, so it’s nice to get stuff i wouldn’t myself pay for

Byoma is sold at target. Very inexpensive but I love their skincare. My 17 daughter also uses them. We have an allergy to PG (propylene glycol) and PEG (polyethylene glycol) which causes chemical burn like rashes. These are amazing for those with sensitive skin and teens.

As someone whose comfort show is Gossip Girl - that headband looks very Blair Waldorf and so that price just made sense to me. I expect all of her headbands in that show were $100+

Just a note about that milk makeup sizing situation… the current “full size” used to be the SAMPLE SIZE that they sold for half the price. They swapped to that size being the full size and literally didn’t lower the price at all. Crazy.
