Can we do like a Rental for 4 months and invoice the customer Monthly or fortnightly. Rather then making them pay full amount either at end or start ?

Hey odoo if the client rent it an item for a month and he return the item 3 weeks and 2 day early. I want to do credit or return. How the system can calculate that difference.
