Hello, please what is the best way to digitize a reservoir when you have a dam boundary? Watershed analysis creates a reservoir that seems downstream and what i understand its that reservoirs are generally upstream. Please advise.
I didn't understanding your question. But if you want to digitize your reservoir you have to know and have both reservoir elevation and contour data. Watershed Analysis and reserviors both are different.

Estimating volume of dam reservoir from satellite imagery is good technique?
You need to have better resolution data. Which is mandatory for better estimation.
