i really like the way you break these songs down in your video. been playing for years but recently decided i needed more classical guitar in my life so i am slowly learning a few songs. and now this one is on the list. thank you.
I learned the lessons of yours in Udemy helped me a lot and I am ready with fingerstyle trying to book another modules.Youre my great lecture thanks from India
I normally wouldn't be into classical pieces on a steel string, but I thought his adaption, with the beautiful reverb, sounded so sweet to my ears. I dig it... The way we each hear it is very subjective
I think BBC, NPR, or some such media outlet put out a podcast about this in a larger series where for one month various people shared a song that meant something particularly important to them; and this song was in it. I'm looking for the link to it now, but glad to see this song getting some love! Nice vid.
Not really. It’s just that with the new camera it takes longer to edit. Also it’s taking longer to record t he videos. Better quality takes a little bit note time 😊🎸
100% Marco! Thank you for another nugget from the treasure chest. Slow and steady. Measure by measure. Patience. Stick with things of such beauty. Do your part and the rest will come together. Trust. It’s so worth it. 🙏🏻
Tarrega is definitely in my top 3 favorite composers for Classical Guitar! Very well played. I've never heard it on steel string guitar. I thought you were able to adapt it very nicely to the steel strings. Cheers from Chicago!
do you do or can you tutorials of all of these esquizit peaces of music with tabs , if u can i hope u can make a link for the tabs sheet thank u for understanding
You are the best guitar teacher I really thank you for another video we should follow your trick Oky. I really prefer your guitar lead. I from India 🙂👍🎼🎸
Marco you are so awesome (and romantic)! I love the choices you make for all your tutorials. Just a suggestion for us beginners, could you please play the entire piece slowly one time at the end so we can play along with you? We always have full speed at the beginning of your video to follow once we learn the song. Thank you for all you do! ❤️
Thanks Marco, love hearing the history and breakdown of this beautiful piece of music. I was learning this until I got tendonitis from practicing too long 🙄
Thank you so much for your prayers ♥️ Im happy to report that things are on the improve. The hand specialist gave me some exercises etc to do and they are really working well. Not long until Im back to playing again! God bless you 🙂
I'm glad you're on the mend. Have you consulted with a guitar teacher to ensure that your hand position and technique are appropriate? Oftentimes poor position and/or excessive tension cause injury. The better your technique, the better you play and have less chance for injury.
This is a stunning piece. I enjoyed hearing the backstory about someone faced with adversity had their tears caught and then put that into music!! I'm still trying to learn how to read the tabs and figure out when we pluck simultaneously it look like it was on the e and the e minor. Any tips are appreciated, much thanks Marco thumbs up 👍
I heard Tarrega ran from his father multiple times,he always caught him, brought him back, and made him study music again xD ....now with hearing that Tarrega was actually blind this makes him running away even more impressive...

Steel strings take all the warmth out of this piece
I normally wouldn't be into classical pieces on a steel string, but I thought his adaption, with the beautiful reverb, sounded so sweet to my ears. I dig it... The way we each hear it is very subjective
@@DavidChiriboga reverb is not a substitution for nylon strings, might as well play it on an electric.... oh wait
percey I agree, effects are not a substitution for tone. I’m just saying I enjoyed it. It’s all subjective to what we each perceive
Its not the song its the DUDE!
Francisco Tarrega
one of the best classical guirarists EVER

Another fab video Marco, so inspired with your vids and I’ve learnt so much from you! Thank you
Lovely piece. The A section is reminiscent of an Irish tune, The South Wind, which I learned from John Renbourn.

Why does lagrima by tarrega has A# in 7th bar as the piece is entirely supposed to be in E maj scale?
In Romania LACRIMA means "tear"
Same in Italy :)
it's all coming from Latin Lacrima
@@mk00918 true
It means tear in Spanish as well
Could you make a tutorial for the song " la da dee "? I wanna learn it but I can't find any helpful videos for it.
Can you please do a lesson for Shostakovich - Jazz Waltz.
nice!
Why did you play it on a steel string?
I surrender all
3:03
Are you playing nylon or steel?
plese play sparkle and mithsua theme it's beautiful plese do to for us
*Can you please show us a beautiful piece which is longer and not a short piece of music* , please
Lagrima is where Beatles got the influence for Blackbird.
Hey brother , please make some beautiful absolutely begginer fingerstyle
You should be using a nylon string

Very good piece but it sounds very dirty on steel strings.
for a moment i read it as ligma.
Can’t you just tell us what strings to hit
