Just picked up my first pdm went with Sedley after going through a 5ml decant, had to have a full bottle.
Great choice it’s the easiest pickup of the whole line Imo
Sedley was my first PDM as well, awesome scent thats so easy to wear and easy to like, great for warm weather.

"Mass appealing niche fragrances" as in niche fragrances which are easy to wear like pdm but from other brands.

Carlisle is still my favorite from PdM.
My wife and I LOVE how Herod smells, however it doesn't last on me...which is strange since a bunch of notoriously bad performing fragrances last just fine on me.
Ya it’s odd how that does it for some people and not for others. It’s also some anosmia to specific notes and accords and blends
Have Percival and Sedley in the collection. Heard Galloway was similar in terms of versatility. Have you tried? Thoughts if so? Good vid as always!
I really love the PDM house I have collected majority of the PDM’s fragrances. Only one I didn’t really pick up due to fragrance performance was herod; they should do a Herod Exclusif
Herod is amazing! I’ve only smelled sample. Do have Makin Scents version - Judea, which is incredible I feel. Also cheap Maison Alhambra - Hercules, not as good.
Yeah, I also own mikes version it’s def good but for me personally nothing lives up to herod

Love pdm my favorite house but remember they do have fragrance that does not smell like others and people do copy them. They are niche cause of the good oils they use. Hard for me to pick top 5 cause I love pdm fragrance you know that 😂
Althair for winter
Got a very strong Vicks vapo rub note when I sampled Layton at my local fragshop - perhaps the pre-formulated version ? Couldn't stand that aspect. Anyways, I impulsively bought a brand new bottle this year and there was ZERO menthol smell.
Ya I’m not sure for me over the past three years the smell hasn’t changed but it def could have I just didn’t notice it as I never got that smell from it
PDM need to make Layton Parfum
Is it not strong enough for you? For me it lasts as much as I need it to. It would be cool for them to have another addition to the layton family but it’s pdm they aren’t built that way and as a niche house I can’t say I blame them
@@FragranceDOUD the stronger the better! I wouldn't mind a sweeter more dense version with maybe a twist (mainstream / mass appealing not like the exclusive oud anamilic version)

I just got a sample of Althair and WOW it is hot garbage. Could not believe how disgusting it smelled, like an old woman's hair spray from the 80s. It's so easy to tell who has PDM in their back pocket on social media because they'll push even their worst fragrances like they're a godsend (not you, but we all know the ones). Genuinely pisses me off when a house that puts everything into their fragrances because that's literally all they sell like PDM releases such absolute trash. It may even be worse than Kalan and I never thought I'd say that about another PDM fragrance.
