The team-up of John Henry Irons/Steel and Superman/Clark Kent we need to see more of that in the final 2 episodes and I hope we get more in season 2. It's so good to see Clark Kent wanting to put a fail safe in effect after what he went through with Tao Rho because it was a good learning experience and a wake-up call for him.
Man that psychic energy wave that he unleashed at the DEO was insane. He is now at his maximum potential truly becoming the Eradicator. Now he is completely void of emotions and will start to wreck havoc when he comes to earth.
Hey Greg, not sure if you've heard of this news for DC yet but if you haven't Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan who were in BvS as Bruce's parents said they would love to play Flashpoint's Batman and Joker. In the movie Flashpoint Paradox Thomas Wayne become's Batman and Martha Wayne becomes Joker. I think it would be perfect casting. If this is useful news glad to help and what would be your thoughts on this
I really love how they highlight that Superman is always holding back, and how it's basically a sacrifice he has to make for the benefit of humans. Tyler Hoechlin plays Clark/Superman to perfection, and I'm very he glad he took the role.
No body seems to mention how Jonathan has pretty much taken after or inherited Clark's personality seeing as how he always tends to do the right thing and be optimistic. Jordan may have gotten Clark's powers but Jonathan got Clark's heart.
What’s so great about Superman and Lois? 1. Feels cinematic for a tv show thanks to other companies helping out. 2. The acting is great on both Tyler Hoechlin’s Elizabeth Tulloch, Adam Rayner, Erick Valdez, and Emmanuelle Chriqui’s, Wole parks’ part 3. Very pleased with the way they brought in Steel aka John Henry Irons. Such an amazing addition to the show. 4. The villian who is played by Adam Rayner is pretty spooky and I think he’s done a phenomenal job as an antagonist. 5. The show does an excellent job as diving deeper than just a Superman saves the day type of heroic show. It goes into family drama, questioning himself and what he’s capable of if he count contain his abilities.
Best part of this show is the realistic way Lois, Clark and the boys deal with their disagreements. They argue, they take some time to calm down, they sort it out, usually within the same day.
Seeing Clark, Lois, Sam, John Henry Irons all taking a small break as they are trying to reassess what the next plan is going to be. Just seeing the main characters trying to understand all the events that transpired and how to recover from it we get to see it in this episode. Sometimes going through a disastrous event it takes a while for a town to recover and this episode showed it will take a while for Smallville to recover. The side story with Kyle Cushing and Lana Lang and the town treating them badly was captured so well.
Not all the time. You can't really relate to Darkseid. But almost every incarnation of Darkseid is entertaining to watch. Making your villain relatable is making a villain on easy mode. And can become a creative crutch.
God I love this show. And I'm so glad you guys are covering it! As much as I love the Arrowverse crossovers, I do really like that this show is its own thing. Though that said, I've also always loved any time Clark & Lois have gotten to interact with Supergirl in the past - they're delightful together! But she doesn't seem to exist in this show (god knows she'd be SUPER useful in this fight with Edge!), and it makes me sad. It also makes me confused, now that they've brought Diggle in (which I'm not complaining about, MORE DIGGLE PLEASE, ALWAYS). I have no clue whether or not this show is actually supposed to exist in the same universe as the other shows, and it bothers me way more than it has any right to 😂
It definitely makes sense though with so many kryptonian consciousnesses in him the kind of power he has wouldn’t be stoppable by just that much kryptonite.
Tal- Rho really is like a better, deeper version of Zod. I wouldn't be surprised if the comics bring him into their continuity one day. I hope his becoming the Eradicator here doesn't end end with his permanent destruction
This show is so good; great acting, story, cinematography, and fx. I hope this doesn’t devolve like other CW shows that started well e.g. Arrow or The Flash

@@megatronusorionpax4900 it’s a figure of speech I didn’t actually mean every single white character in dc history was race swapped but a lot of them (most recently batgirl) have been race swapped but I agree it would be cool for steel to stay steel and for Jon to become his own person
I am thinking they will do a version of Death of Superman in the last episode and then Season 2 because they are already setting up Steel, Superboy and Eradicator. S2 could be about them taking Superman's place with Supes resurrecting mid season 2 to maybe fight someone like Cyborg Superman as the season villain.

Theory for the next episode and the finale: Going off the promo, everyone is predicting the twins getting kidnapped which, might be true. But maybe just one of them does; Jon. I have a reason why Jordan could've been left out too. Remember Kyle (possessed) had threatened Jon before and here in the trailer, we can see Kyle and Lana getting scared, probably cuz Edge came in. And since he's the eradicator now, he can transfer the consciousnesses himself (?) I guess. And then Edge could re-possess Kyle and Kyle goes to kidnap Jon for Edge. Why? Because maybe Jon can be possessed too. He may not have been a Smallville resident for long but he has the Kryptonian blood. Think. Jordan already has powers. So taking him could only mean more trouble for Edge. I think Jon will get possessed and then somehow team Clark saves him but maybe, he still gets to keep those powers, having infused by his Kryptonian blood in him? I mean I can't think of anything else that can get Jon powers too by the end of the season.
Guys the only one we are missing is hank cyborg Superman but he was in supergirl. But u have the eradicator Steel and superboy. Remember death of superman.
I think they will do something different with that, as Hank really wouldn't fit into this storyline the way they're doing it. I think they're setting it up to be Zod/Superman from John's Earth, who will have cyborg parts after his fight with John from the flashback. He could have came through the portal when John did, and up until this point has been recovering from the red sun blast

In this episode we see the Morgan edge flashbacks when his father first told him about Clark and we see him take the crystal and throw it against the wall breaking it. So how do we still see his dad when he was trying to turn Superman a couple episodes ago??

I am very glad Clark was able to stop, think and accept that those should exist. I stopped watching supergirl entirely because she just refused to accept weapons with kryptonite, even though the show had enemy kryptonians multiple times!
She gave batwoman kryptonite. Her issue wasn't the kryptonire, it was people she was working with hiding that information which was Clark and lois issue initially as well.
I'm still watching this through you two ... doesn't look like we'll be getting this in the UK. I wanted to watch it through genuine, proper means to give it full support but looks like I may have to be naughty 😬 ... keep up the good work guys!
