I recently decided I wanted to become vegetarian and it was quite hard for me at first because most of my family eats meat and so have I for most of my life but now I've gotten into it its much more easy for me :)
i try not to eat meat, but my family is like "you'll die without meat! you have to eat it!" and im like ok but if i eat meat then my chances of a heart attack will go up ! ha! actually i will live longer if i dont eat meat. i eat very little meat and all my sister does it eat meat.
You don't need meat but you need complete proteins ( in quinoa and soja) and omega 3 ( who is normally found in fish ) and omega 6 ( in red meat) but you can find these in some oils. Oh and last thing don't use butterine instead of butter because it can cause cancers... use oil! olive oil is the best oil! If this can help you for your new vegan life! And I've got some classes so this may be true! Well I hope so...
I met MCR at 8, i'm 20 now. Frank was always my inspiration to be a vegetarian, but my parents wouldn't allow me to stop eating meat till i was 18, so i convinced them at 17 and became vegetarian. After 2 years of vegetarianism i became vegan 8 months ago and I really have to thank this man because he was my main inspiration. Animals are my friends and i don't want anyone to hurt them ever. No animal tested cosmetics, no animal fur, no food that contains any part of them. They're friends, not food, not experiments. They're not ours. Vegan is the answer 🌱💜
You totally should!! I went vegan about a year and a half ago after being veggie for a few years and it's one of the best things I've ever done! There was a bit of a learning curve at first but I got used to it after the first month or so and it was way easier than I expected, I love it :D there are loads of good videos on youtube and websites with recipes and advice...good luck!

I know I'm 10 years late to this video but Frank was one of people who got me to start thinking about where my food comes from. Now I'm starting to go vegan and honestly couldn't be happier. No more excuses, the cruelty animals endure is so wrong and I don't want to fund it anymore.

A few years ago I looked up all the horrible stuff they do to the animals we eat- the way they raise them and then butcher them. I was so saddened and shocked that I told my friends I was going to turn vegetarian but then I remembered I hate vegetables and my favorite food is meat. I just wish they were more humane to the animals. Kudos to Frankie for speaking out about the issue!

I started being a vegetarian about a month ago and I don't regret it at all. Even if an animal is said to be 'free range' and they've had a good life, it doesn't mean they were killed humanely, and it doesn't mean they haven't got loads of chemicals in them either. I don't think humans were meant to eat meat, because if you look and our intestines they are long and curve round a lot, like herbivores. Natural carnivores intestines are short and straight.
My dad said I can be a vegetarian soon cause he just doesn't have the time yet to help me with it. But everytime I eat a form of meat I feel bad because I think of what they do to animals and its awful. I say to my friends whenever they mention bacon or something that I don't like it. Just replace meats with legumes like lentils, adzuki beans, chickpeas, red beans, kidney beans, green beans etc. You can replace dairy with fortified soymilk and if you eat wild fish/seafood, you can replace the omega 3 fatty acids you get from wild fish with a Udo DHA oil supplement. Being a vegan isn't as hard as some people make it out to be.
I lasted 4 months being vegetarian and I really want to go back. It's just so fucking hard. And finding support with my family is also a real struggle because to them you need meat to live. ;-;

I became a vegan 2 years ago at school the food is mainly meat, so it was really hard at the begining, 'cause I was really into meat, but I made through and my whole family supports me.

i'm vegetarian not vegan. i get free-range eggs and milk that i trust though and my family supports me in that sense, but they were really not supportive with the not eating meat when i started at 15, so i can understand how difficult it can be for a lot of people. but i still urge people to take a look at the videos showing the slaughter cruelty no matter how disgusting/violent they are because everyone should be aware of it even if they still choose to eat meat.
I've been a fan of MCR since Danger Days and vegan since they broke up and these two things actually had nothing to do with each other, but now that I find out how they stand when it comes to animal cruelty after all these years, I find it quite ironic

More bands should care as much as My Chem do, because after all, kids look up to their favourite bands so much. But so few of those bands use that admiration to try and change the world for the better. I really respect frank for this. pretending that the world is perfect is not going to make its imperfections just magically dissapear. one good deed from every person, everyday would really make a difference
That is deep. I've seen so many things and I can't even eat it anymore....i can't bare the thought of what all the animals go through for testing and for people's food. it's just discusting! I am fourteen and I will speak up for animals until the day i die!!!!

I totally agree. i feel the same way! this is one of the reasons that frank is my role model and the whole band too! He speaks the truth! animals shouldnt be slaughtered!

some of us,vegatarians, don't use oil in cosmetics and skin in shoes and stuff like that. Some of us just eat eggs and milk. And still others are working towards being completely vegan
Frank is 100% right, these animals are being treated terribly and abused daily. But, that doesn't mean we just flat out shouldn't eat meat. We shouldn't waste as much as we do. Some animals are getting killed and then their meat, skin, and life was wasted. We should think about and be more like how the Native Americans were, they used every single part of the buffalo, and when they'd kill a deer, they'd go up to it and thank it for feeding their family. i'm vegetarian not vegan. i get free-range eggs and milk that i trust though and my family supports me in that sense, but they were really not supportive with the not eating meat when i started at 15, so i can understand how difficult it can be for a lot of people. but i still urge people to take a look at the videos showing the slaughter cruelty no matter how disgusting/violent they are because everyone should be aware of it even if they still choose to eat meat.
I've been a fan of MCR since Danger Days and vegan since they broke up and these two things actually had nothing to do with each other, but now that I find out how they stand when it comes to animal cruelty after all these years, I find it quite ironic
Amen frank! I've been vegetarian for 4 years, vegan for one. ive been much healthier because of it.
i asked my parents if i could go vegetarian but they said i was beeing rediculous even went on stirke and now i have to live with them stuffing me with murder and its makeing me sad and hence that im still pretty young otherwise id so not eat meat! Frank youre an inspiration to us all :)

This video made me search some information about how animals are being treated in slaughterhouses and it's just terrible. Now I still eat fish for proteins and stuff, but I don't eat meat anymore! :)

More bands should care as much as My Chem do, because after all, kids look up to their favourite bands so much. But so few of those bands use that admiration to try and change the world for the better. I really respect frank for this. pretending that the world is perfect is not going to make its imperfections just magically dissapear. one good deed from every person, everyday would really make a difference

That is deep. I've seen so many things and I can't even eat it anymore....i can't bare the thought of what all the animals go through for testing and for people's food. it's just discusting! I am fourteen and I will speak up for animals until the day i die!!!!

When you go to your local grocery store get products like "morning star" and "boca" and any other meatless products. It's a tad bit pricey... but so worth it. and it's really good for you
