I knew Rudolph personally for over 25 yrs. Everything his children said about him is the absolutely truth! Rudolph loved his wife (Mrs E.) He was a good man, he loved the Lord and was always a giver. He would always end our conversations with Be Blessed In Jesus' Name.

The Isley Brothers frequently did shows at the Cow Palace in San Francisco and when me, my sister Chris, and friends would hear they were in the Bay Area, we would load up and travel to the show. It was in the 70s and we attended ALL of the Isley Brothers concerts that we could, which were a lot. We couldn't help ourselves cause their music IS so good. We would dance the night away. I'm thankful for your awesome music. My sister Chris transcended in 2019 so she's up there with the Isley brothers dancing to all their hits and I know she constantly asks for her favorite song by them For The Love of You. I pray for strength for the whole family and thank you for the beautiful music you all blessed the world with

Such a great homecoming. I was lucky enough to meet the Isley Brothers back in the 70s I drove them from the airport to a gig that they had and they were very nice very nice people. Ernie had just started playing with them and he wanted to go out after the gig and they said oh no they didn't want him to get caught up in the world they stayed after him and I'm glad they did bless you all. Thanks for the music that you gave us through the years.

My Husband sent me on a trip from New York to Seattle when he called and told me the news. I reached out to Rudolph wife Elaine (Whom I call Mrs. E) She is well living with one of her daughters now. I've known Rudolph and his wife for Over 25 yrs. I have many many letters, cards, gifts and emails from them. Visited their home when they lived in Otisville, NY and Little Ferry, NJ several times

I am glad to have met Rudolph Isley back in 2019 at his home in Olympia Fields. I met Rudolph through his daughter Elaine. My company was doing some upgrades to the cameras at the home and I had the distinct pleasure of interacting with both Rudolph and his wife Elaine. I got to see first hand how he was serving Jesus and his wife was a true servant of Jesus Christ. They were glad to find out that I am a follower of Jesus Christ and Rudolph shared interesting stories about the past with his Brothers singing on tour back in the days. I could sense the presence of the Lord at the home. Elaine was always very kind and friendly towards me and she mentioned that both of her parents liked the way I carried myself. I spoke with Elaine a week before her Father passed and was saddened by his passing. I grew up in the 70’s listening to the Isley Brothers. Voyage to Atlantis is my favorite song. My Rudolph enjoy being in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ

Very sad loss of Mr. Rudolph B. Isley, Sr. after he had a wonderful run as singer-songwriter, vocalist, co-founder of Isley's T-Neck label and minister singing his best gospel songs. Mr. Rudolph Isley was a tremendous crooner with his best tenor vocals almost like Mr. Ronald Isley's respectively. In 1969, he recorded one hit single was "I Got To Get Myself Together" and then 10 years later he recorded his unheard version of "How Lucky I Am" aka "Rudy's Tune" for the Isley's Winner Takes All demo sessions that he did. His legacy lives on forever.
Ronald kept it together after his losses Kelly Marvin and now Rudolph Chris and ernie .always cherish the memory over the..years. All of you my condolences to Isley family .

@ACCOMPLISHEDSHEIS They must to have a fallen out because I noticed he wasn't there but his older brother was there. That's very sad they couldn't put their differences aside to be there. Even Angela Winbush showed up and she and Ronald are not together anymore.

Very sad loss of Mr. Rudolph B. Isley, Sr. after he had a wonderful run as singer-songwriter, vocalist, co-founder of Isley's T-Neck label and minister singing his best gospel songs. Mr. Rudolph Isley was a tremendous crooner with his best tenor vocals almost like Mr. Ronald Isley's respectively. In 1969, he recorded one hit single was "I Got To Get Myself Together" and then 10 years later he recorded his unheard version of "How Lucky I Am" aka "Rudy's Tune" for the Isley's Winner Takes All demo sessions that he did.
His legacy lives on forever.

Ron and Chris had a fallen out back in the 80s.Ron took almost all of the Isley Brothers royalties that's why Rudolph himself recently sued him
