Sir, I don't understand why you keep saying that there might be other people better than you to lecture about computer vision models and so on? You explained it pretty clear, for what is needed for 23 minutes. I wished to hear more from you. The lecture was awesome
Thank you, I was using Libfreenect for kinect in python and opencv to detect something and I failed miserably at compiling libfreenect in windows (can't use Linux), then I tried LabVIEW with Kinesthesia libraray and Vision library for the same purpose but had a lot of issues Now I am going to use Processing :D Thanks again
super useful and interesting tutorial ... Thank you Daniel . I've tried every possible way I imagined to eliminate the vibration/jittering when it's tracking the color ... but got no where ... Can you give me an idea how could it be done?
watchin this gave me so many ideas! like morphing physical objects using Augmented Reality. like a program that just sits in the background of google glass n randomly just turns your coffee mug into a duck or sumfin lol
Hello Dan. Love the way you made these videos. Could you please make the video that guide us how to use some functions of OpenCV library (such as object detected) to analyze the video captured from webcam? I'm trying to apply OpenCV library in Processing but I don't know how.
Can I use "Capture" class to grab videos and pictures from a mobile phone front face-camera using processing for Android? or do I need another library for that? Thanks a lot for your amazing videos.
+Игровой канал RobosergTV All languages have their pros and cons. C++ is fantastic for working with computer vision b/c of speed. I like processing for its simplicity, extendability, and community. For many cases it's plenty fast enough!
Shiffman, Is there a way to find the depth of video pixels without using Kinect. Like atlest something more close to it. Because i wanna track my hand without using kinect. If this is not possible then i have to build a IR led gloves to track my hand
ok, this generated many questions (and answered quite a few too), here goes: is there any library that uses the new PlayStation Camera? is it possible to adapt the Kinect libraries to use PlayStation Cameras? how would one go about making a simple 3d scanner? is it possible to export .obj files with Processing to use in other programs? also, on the same note, would it be possible to import an .obj file into Processing to modify it in there? i am sure i had more, but can't think of anything else at this point. thank you in advance!
+Artur Karlov I might suggest asking some of these questions at forum.processing.org where there is a wider audience for discussion. But quickly I have used the playstation camera with processing.video library, not sure about the new one. I would look at this OBJ library (as well as loadShape() in Processing) code.google.com/p/saitoobjloader/
Hi i have aquestion i need to develop an appointments system(school project)that taken in appointments forclients plus number plates and when the client arrives at the gate the number plate should be scanned so i need to dvelop that Automatic number plate recognition system..i ahve the appointments part in springboot how can i do figure out this for Number plate recognition?
Do external cameras like drone's camera , smartphone, CCTV and surveillance camera work in processing? How to connect a CCTV camera with processing? THX.
hi! I tried the color track example by myself (without looking at your code) and I think I did the same things except I didn't use variables as much as you, and for some reason it made the processing capture video run really slowly (it froze from time to time). I was wondering if you can tell us which things can make a processing sketch lag and if using variables can make it run faster? also, I used a higher resolution of my camera in the beginning and it might affect the processing sketch? thanks so much!
Would you mind asking at forum.processing.org/! It's a better platform for Processing and p5.js related code questions. You can share code there easily! Feel free to link from here to your post so I can follow / contribute!
Hello im pretty new to this :) Can anyone tell me how to track a triangle part of an object? Im basically trying to figure out how to track vehicle plate number. I hope someone can help me

most relaxing thing to me is just watching your videos.
Preetham Gali is face recognition just an average of accessing pixel data?
*Very good guy by nature, keeps smiling during the whole video*
:)
I'm just starting to learn CV for a project I have in mind, and I scrolled through pages of youtube videos looking just for you!!
You are the best human i met on RUclips
HE'S NOT HUMAN.
Anytime I want to further investigate a CS topic, you always have a video on it! High quality and very interesting. Love your videos!!!
I like your style, the selection of problem that you discuss, and environment of your place is awesome. Coding train’s logo is greatly relaxing.
Very lively presentation, thanks man! Makes me want to give my 3d reconstruction presentation tomorrow in such an upbeat way.

That 3d view was mesmerizing
I am currently trying to make a certain project work, thank you for creating these videos.
Thank you very very much !! It helps me a lot with my graduate work ~~~
It is an awesome video, quite useful for people like me (mechanical engg, welding background) to do image processing.
Awesome videos Dan. I always learn so much from your videos. You Rock!!!
thank you!
You're welcome. Have an awesome day!
I tried several videos or tutorial for image processing but still too difficult for me,until this guy show me how
Hi Dan! your tutorials are amazing!!!!
man, cool teaching technique :)
Thank you,

such a nice introduction
love your approach:)
thanks for uploading these tutorials. You are really helping me out for my design-courses :)
Much love and such stuff
So glad to hear, thank you!
Good one... liked it the way you explained..
Your videos are great !
Would love to see some C++ next to the processing, but I understand that you are proficient in one and not the other :p
Very good presentation!
+χριστινα Μεγαρχιώτη thank you! there is more here now too: ruclips.net/video/QmVNgdapJJM/видео.html
Very effective way of delivering..
Very good!!!
Very useful intel Daniel THANKS!
+Frank Lopez glad to hear!
How did you disable the video at 10:35.Thanks in advance!
nice work
Please, can you make a whole tutorial on machine learning and neural networks with java?
Thank you
super useful and interesting tutorial ... Thank you Daniel .
I've tried every possible way I imagined to eliminate the vibration/jittering when it's tracking the color ... but got no where ... Can you give me an idea how could it be done?
+Bahman J Try using the lerp() function! ruclips.net/video/8uLVnM36XUc/видео.html
Great video.
at around 5 minutes in you invent a new star wars droid. R2B2G2. He will be the most colorful character in the universe.
11:30, That's awesome.
opencv not working in android mode but it successfully run in java mode what reason??
clear intruduction !! where could we find the code by the way?
watchin this gave me so many ideas! like morphing physical objects using Augmented Reality. like a program that just sits in the background of google glass n randomly just turns your coffee mug into a duck or sumfin lol
thank you it helped a lot
you got the 326001st fan !
:D
How did you turn off the video from the camera, to have only the circle around the pen?

Thanks a lot for your amazing videos.
Teacher, what is ''TrackColor''. You declared ''CurrentColor'' but i dont know what is ''trackColor'', help me please! My english is bad sorry.
+Huiyuan trackColor is the variable that stores the color I am looking for in the pixels.
Very thanks for this tutorial :)
what programming language is that?
Java in Processing (processing.org)
Could you make an tutorial for an QR-code reader please? I think it will be really cool. But I have no idea how to do it
Which algorithm we will use for color detection using opencv
where can i find the source code for the Face Detect sketch you used at 15:25?
I'm trying to find that too I think they might have deleted it.
Do you know the coding for throwing the ball using kinect?
It's about my final assignment
thx, but why use processing? Isnt it slower, than say c++ (where openCV originally comes from) or even python?

Aswinth Raj Balasubramani using two cameras would work... Not easily but certainly possible.
Thanks!
Thank you for the support!
From video input, how to generate images from that and then images processing for particle size distribution from the video? Thank you in advance..
how did you disabled the camara? i love your ttorials.
can you recommend something about object detection+ Avoidance for Robotics?
codes and algorithm

16:01 you mentioned Google Hangouts. Do you still use it?
How to turn off the 'Auto Exposure Compensation' with my windows web cam... (HP Pavilion 23) ?
Do external cameras like drone's camera , smartphone, CCTV and surveillance camera work in processing? How to connect a CCTV camera with processing? THX.
depends but in theory it's possible. video library is built on top of GStreamer, for more ask at forum.processing.org.
sir need to learn more new thing with python plz share more videos

thank you so much!! I love that there's a whole community! it will be very helpful
How does camera quality affect the performance and outcome?
With better quality there is more pixels and it will have to scan more pixels slowing it down
What kind of camera he is use?
Greetings brother I follow your videos, thanks for this what do you want to ask how can I make a vehicle counter with proseccing?
you should replicate the EyeToy fun effects... :]
Thanks 3000
What IDE is he using?
What happened to 11.1, 11.2, and 11.3??
guess im buying a kinnect :D
