Great question - to be honest I feel like it is coming from the mindset. I think for me the most important question to ask is why I want to buy it. For example, if the reason to buy it comes from outside e.g. because "everyone is doing it" - even if the products are on sale, my answer for them would be "no, thanks". If I feel like I want to buy them for the reason that comes from within e.g. because I feel like it is important for me to wear make-up and it cheers me up, I would totally do it 😛 On more practical side I have two tricks: 1) Wait for 24 hours to see if I still want it e.g. I would add it to my cart at the checkout but would not actually complete the order. If I am not back in 24 hours, I probably don't need it that much after all. 2) Another trick is that I keep a list of a "maybe" items (the ones that I want but do not need urgently) that I would want to buy and then buy them when the sales are up. That way I feel like I am taking advantage of the sales but not wasting my moneys on something just because it is on sale 😉 That said I don't think there is a perfect solution for this though - I just basically experimented with a bunch of stuff to avoid overbuying and found these two that worked so far the most for me.
Coconut oil is very versatile! You can use it as a base for lip balm, or moisturizer, or makeup remover!
Great suggestion - I will definitely try it out :) if you have any other tricks or suggestions, let me know!
Coconut oil works for me as make up remover.
Thanks, I will definitely give it a try!
Hi Kat, How do you resist yourself from buying make up? Make up sales just drive me crazy 😝
